In other words, you can't work out a single sensible retort to what I just stated.

The amount of tax they pay is a pittance and they are entitled to have it rebated to them when leaving britain.

Actually it's the same as everyone else pays. As for the rebate, surely they should be entitled to have something back if they've had to put up with people like you while they've been here!

I pay my taxes in Canada now, i wonder if i can claim anything from the uk too?

I'd be happy with just $7.50 a week so i can get a pint of guinness in the Lennox Bar.. Actually for such shameless free advertising Lennox Bar (on Robson & Granville) should supply it for free!!

Most Poles living in the UK don't get student discounts.

In a manner of speaking, yes.

But as the amount of tax you pay is relative to the amount you earn, a Pole working a 40 hr week on minimum wages will pay less tax in a year than a Pole working for 15 pounds an hour. I imagine the majority of Poles working in the UK are earning closer to minimum wage than 15 pounds thus, in comparison, the amount of tax they pay is a pittance. As I say, its relative.

Live here for a year - pay tax for a year - claim the benefits you are entitled to for a year.

that would be fair but we have to work continously for 2 years to get anything(if i lost my job after 729 days i would not be entitled to any help from my local job centre or any other help.after 2 years we have full rights to the same help that brits have.

It's not entirely fair. However, from my experience of the job centre, you'd do much better just to pick up the phone a few times, walk round a few places where someone might have a job going.

Sorry I'll just translate that for you into non-inflammatory language - "Polish workers pay taxes and NI contributions and claim child benefit for their children". Nothing to see here.?

Sorry, not good enough. If the Polish want to claim child benefit, then bring the kids to live here too. Their contribution to the economy has only been a few years, so why should they be claiming already ?

It's worth mentioning the 1 BILLION pounds ripped out of the system every year by fake / unnecessary sickness benefit claims. 33 million doesn't seem so much eh?

I agree and have already said that the system is a pile of shi*e, but that doesn't make it right that people can get child benefit for kids that don't even live here.

yes they don't pay enough to cover what they use , education etc plus brits forefathers have contributed for their kids and granchildren not for poles and their kids , plus they take lots of jobs and keep wages down for vulnerable natives , it's been proved that mass immigration from former communist states does nothing to benefit the british ppl themselves the only winners are dirty british temp agencies using cheap nasty 1920's style labour and the poles themselves as they can obtain a lot more in poland than we can with our money , it's a disgrace better rights for british workers is what's needed and issuing proper visa's to everyone not just outside the eu .

U've monitored their consumption and public service use, have u? Why can't u accept that they are merely using their options? Brits have rights under EU Law, what r u harping on about rights for? If u look at it, rotation of money is a very complicated thing. Life, as conducted, is not a meritocracy.

martyr jailed for defending country *post on its own*

A man has been jailed for defending Scotland against the tide of eastern European immigrants that have plagued our low paid, unskilled job market.

news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/scotland/edinburgh_and_east/7433720.stm

I will be writing a letter to this man thanking him for defending our country against the venomous tide of diversity and multiculturalism.

Wow, since when has diversity and multiculturalism been a bad thing? I wasn't aware that so many Ukrainians had entered Scotland, thx for letting me know ;) Or was it Belorussians, Latvians or Lithuanians?

the sentences to run concurrently

How is it possible to serve two sentences at the same time?

He attacked the guy with a knife you moron !

Multiculturalism is a very good thing. Unmanaged, uncontrolled, unchecked immigration is a bad thing.

How is it possible to serve two sentences at the same time?

I think concurrently means one after the other.

Concurrently means together at the same time, like simultaneous.

U r right Osioł. Or u have right as the Poles would say ;)

Concurrently means together at the same time, like simultaneous.

How does that work? It seems to make the shorter of the two sentences almost pointless.
