It says Leeds man, it caught my eye as I thought what kind of nutter would do that right as he PASSED a mobile camera Police unit and then i found out its a Polish chap.

Lukasz Wisniewski 26.

That's a balls out wheelie.

last week I saw a motorcycle burned to a crisp under a car. The driver of the car was in shock after the motorcycle hit the car from behind. I don't understand how and why drivers are so insane in Poland while on motorcycles.

Oh well...Bikers are insane everywhere in the world :)
In Belgium we categorize them as "organ donors", which might be about true :)
I have been a voluntary fireman for many years back home, and the bikers were a part of the weekend program every time.

Its really easy to get carried away with a machine of major power vibrating between your legs, its a rush, the faster the better, the more crazy the better, but these young heads will not learn. I remember coming off my machine at about 60MPH on a corner when i was 18, thats a pretty good lesson.

Let me pull a Puzzie on you WB:

Are you suggesting that only a nutter of a Leeds man would pull this kind of foolish stunt, but this would be typical behaviour for a Polish chap? One could surmise that all Polish chaps are nutters by this statement. Why does the alleged Boy from Wroclaw make this equation? Is he in fact a Polonophobic thug? Why would Admin permit such a despicable comparison between Polish chaps and Leeds Nutters?

Pulling a wheelie at 103 MPH past a mobile Police camera van, yes. Brits know what the vans look like and slow down.

Brits know what the vans look like and slow down.

So because the Brits know what the van looks like, they are infinitely smarter than the unsuspecting Poles. Not knowing the camoflage patterns of the local constabulary makes the Poles less intelligent? Isn't that the typical superior attitude one would expect of a Brit?

Sorry it took me too long to reply, I am painting the fence. Couldn't decide which side to paint first.

It's dusk here. I thought you were persona non grata on WB's threads?

Sorry, just looked at yuor profile, I thought you are from Ireland. :):):)

No, quite the opposite. I am as welcome on his threads as he is on mine.

Besides, I do enjoy his picturesque descriptions:

Its really easy to get carried away with a machine of major power vibrating between your legs,

its a rush, the faster the better, the more crazy the better,

When I read it, I really see those crazy scenes in my mind`s eye.

In Poland, too.
In one of his books Stephen Fry tells the story of a lady in Moorfield's eye hospital in London who is waiting for corneal grafts. Her consultant tells her that they don't have any at the moment but becomes more optimistic when he looks out of the window and notices that it's raining. He was thinking of the certainty that one of the then many motorbike messengers would be along soon.

Yes, but the ones in Poland far more so than elsewhere in Europe. Part of the problem is that there is basically no enforcement of traffic law with regard to motorcycles. I would guesstimate that 50% of all the bikes I see on Polish roads are illegal: you can hear that they are from their exhausts. But in 17 years here I have never seen the police doing stop checks on motorbikes: lorries, yes; cars, yes; cyclists, yes; motorbikes, never. Pity really: it would be a good earner for the state.

Have you seen the way Poles drive?
Similar to most post-communist nations, you'd have to travel to east Asia to find poorer standards.

"Overtaking" people though the middle of a single carriageway road is normal in Poland. Just pray the guy comming the otherway moves over.

If anything Shawn my point was a lack of respect for UK roads by foreigners, nothing about lack of intelligence at all. Maybe being Polish he didnt know so much about mobile camera vans..... anyhow hes banned for a year so thats that. No more wheelies for a while from this chap.

these:

  • Police camera van
