Szchegen

Do you perhaps mean Szczecin?

from Vancouver- probably the cheapest is either London or Amsterdam. We usually do London.

The train is not a cheap option any more. There are loads of discount carriers that offer cheap flights to Warsaw from London, Paris, etc.

Honestly- you are not going to save any major money by not booking directly to Warsaw. We do Vancouver- London, London- Warsaw. I think it is cheaper if you do Van to Toronto then Toronto to Warsaw- but the duration is longer.

Schengen- I think that is what is meant.

But that's in Luxembourg not in Poland

yes, but it is also a term used to describe travel without borders in the EU.

i know but it doesn't make sense to state Schengen as a destination. it would be like saying ' I want to fly from London to the USA'..Whereto in the US? NY, SF, LA, Chicago...the choice is wide

yes, you are right- but I got what he was saying. easier to advise than argue.
