That is a B17G mate, its the under chin .50 mounts give it away. Flying Fortress. (but, I know the soviets copied a lot of *our* planes ,hence suggesting some sort of ilushin ...and its soviet green not US olive drab,so....)

Pretty sure thats the model/mark of B17 used by the USAAF for their single re supply mission to Warsaw,is that anything to do with it? Only, the foreground sort of reminds me of a cross between that scene in the Death Star where Luke Kills his dad,or,the final scene in Kanal.....in a sort of modern art twist.....the brick work just does not shout *aviation* to me :)

Seriously, what were the Doors references about then?

Shyt, I made a mistake, I thought it was Liberator, but checked another close-up photo of it and you are right, it is B17!

Good sight you have, I admit.
Sorry for denying it before, buddy!:):):):)

Nope, it`s not about Warsaw, B17s were used to raid Nazi Gdańsk in 1943-44.

Seriously, what were the Doors references about then?

Again, no big philosophy here. I told you to break/look through the glass, see the model plane and associate it with the glass structure which you thought was the door.

Sorry for misleading you by it. :):):):)
Here is a better view of the model B17:

Why did I take a pic of this motorcycle and am presenting it now as a riddle?

I am clueless with respect to motorization, but the SHL initials reveal the origin - Suchedniowska Huta Ludwików (Ludwików Ironworks of Suchedniów, for the works were initially owned by a foundry in Suchedniów). Would it be the model SHL M11 - made in 1961-1968? Exported to India and later cloned as Rajdoot?

Yes, it is a Polish cult motorcycle! Many boys and young men dreamt about having one in 1960s-70s.

But if the latter is true then you are a very cunning photographer, Pawian.

I will be honest with you. I am not a cunning photographer. The reasons why I sometimes take a nice photo is:

1. I always carry my compact camera on me. I even sleep with it, just in case. :):):):)
2. I always take a lot of pics. E.g., I took about 6000 photos at the seaside, deleted 2000 (200 a day on average) on the spot, processed the rest and chose nearly 3000 to load onto my accounts. With such amounts, there are always two or three pictures which I like very much.
