IPA beer is better and at almost the same price as the regular beer. Miller is a no go zone for me. Granted, I don't drink beer much.

I was OP, turns out Slovaks in general is nice but at that point in time I had some issues and I wrongly applied them to Slovaks. I was also really home sick.
I've yet to visit Poland, didn't end up taking the job in Warsaw because it was just a call center one and I'd like to work something nicer. :P
The Polish women I saw in Spain definitely stood out among the sea of Spanish women as prettier BTW so maybe I should visit soon. :D

To be honest, this is nonsense. Central Europeans are cold and stuck up. People get a lot warmer, kinder and more open once you get west of Germany or east of Poland. But within this central region, people tend to be officious, bureaucratic, uptight and have giant sticks up their asses.
I don't agree that those peoples are 'false.' If you've done something to seriously **** them off, a Greek or Spaniard will tell you all about it immediately and they won't lower the volume when they do. They just also know about diplomacy and cordiality when the situation calls for it. This is something that just does not compute for the robots in central Europe.
This 'sincerity' myth is something just pushed as an excuse/defence. "It's ok if I'm mean and have no tact because it's actually brutal honesty". Every ******* on the planet uses "I'm just a straight talker and people can't handle it" as their excuse for being an *******, and this is just that taken to a much larger scale.

Israelis say the same thing - "We are not rude, we are just direct".
In the end, they actually are just rude - sorry, not sorry.
If you don't know how to queue, and push everyone around as if your business is more important than everyone's - you are rude.
If you don't let anyone pass you on the highway - you are rude.
If you try to haggle and bargain regardless of whether you are at the souk, bazaar, or a shop on the high street - you are rude.
If you treat plaintiffs or citizens trying to get a service which they are owed - as simply annoying rabble - you are rude.
If you feel that you can invade your tenant's privacy whenever you need something from the apartment - you are rude.

Slovaks are the most likely to become true Poles out of every other nations. There are many inter-marriages between Poles and Slovaks and even for Poles it's hard to recognize a Slovak living in Poland as "non-Polish."

There are plenty of Germans, Pommeranians, Sorbians, Scotts, Dutch and others who settled in Poland. Became Polish and see themselves as Polish regardless of their surname which often was also forced upon them by Prussians in the past.
Only a tiny minority of them has/have a need to be in a minority organisation and the like. Check the number of members of minority/autonomy organisations for German minority/Kashubian or Silesians. There are many more who scorn/dislike them for their activities. They don't feel or think themselves less Polish then Slovaks that became Polish so:

The Spanish are especially fake as they're the most likely to crack their facade. They can snap and turn angry really quick. In fact I had some Spanish girl look at me in a nasty way on the Madrid Metro. Why? Because I dared to get into the train lol. The first time I arrived at their Metro a Spanish guy said ts-ts as he got frustrated I don't know how and where to go to buy a tube ticket (as if I need to know from the first minute in town lol?!). They can be so rude.
Going to Dublin after Madrid was a revelation in what a normal society is. Spaniards are really a sick society. Believe it or not Italians in the Milan metro are also not angry and rude. Dubliners and the Milanese are far more civilized bunches compared to Spaniards in Madrid. Alicante was better but I still saw inconsiderate passengers.
At least Greeks and Italians are rarely rude to fellow passengers like that. No one in the Athens and Milan metro gives you angry stares, people mind their damn business there.
I also had a very nasty encounter with a Spanish girl from Madrid in Bratislava. Me, a Hungarian friend, a Polish girl and this short Spanish girl we met for a live singing event went on the park next on the Danube by the Eurovea mall. The Polish girl brought a guitar and sang.
All was well until my Hungarian friend suggested we go to the Billa supermarket at Eurovea mall to buy some snacks. When we got back he gave one to the Polish girl, she thanked him, all okay. I asked the Spannish girl if she'd like to take one and she literally screamed "NO, I don't want to, if I wanted I would have said so!". She acted like I just asked her if she'd like us to go to the WC for some quick fun lol. Such a crazy overreaction.
The Polish girl was ofc miles more civilized than that Spanish midget (and miles better-looking to boot!).
Let's be honest most Spanish girls don't look like Penelope Cruz but are in fact really meh.
One sees more pretty (local) women for a day in Bratislava, Prague, or Dublin than they see for several days in a place like Madrid or Alicante. I bet Warsaw, Krakow etc. are more like Bratislava and you see regular but very pretty women often. Most Italian women I've met are not only prettier than Spanish ones but much nicer and more civilized (it's some Italian guys that are jerks, mostly Northern Italian guys). Portuguese women and people in general felt genuinely friendly and not as likely to snap and become ruse or angry. F Spain, not going back to that ugly country. They have high commie-like flats everywhere but, unlike the ones in ex commie countries theirs are uglier, often brown colored like it's still the 60s or 70s and don't have the wide open green areas as in countries like Slovakia, Poland, etc.
Anyway, F Spain and the horrible people there, I will probbaly never visit it again, Italy and Greece are nicer whenthe Southern countries are considered. I hope Poles aren't as aggressive and rude as Spaniards.

Haha, you're in for a real shock. Spaniards can be pretty brusque, especially in service roles (so are a lot of Poles, though), but Poles are a tinderbox. I routinely see them snap at each other bigtime over ridiculously petty things, e.g., someone passes someone else a little too closely on their bike. They can be incredibly surly and aggressive. Also, the old women in the supermarkets might as well be giving you a colonoscopy when they're queuing behind you, they're that far up your arse. Prepare to be jostled a lot and with not even a single hint of a 'sorry', 'excuse me' or a f*ck given.
If you think the Spanish are rude, never, ever go to Germany. Those people are incredible c*nts. It's like Poland but with the coldness and officiousness dialled up even further, everyone's a wannabe member of the Gestapo. If you're standing on the walking side of a tube escalator in the UK, Spain, or even Poland, you will probably get a polite 'excuse me', and they might possibly seem slightly miffed, whereas the monumentally uptight Germans will berate you at length for "breaking zer very important rule of zer society(!!!)".

Nah, I think it's understood by a lot of people who aren't robots and don't have foot-long sticks up their arses. So, basically anyone not in the humour black hole of Central Europe. The Greeks, Spanish and French, for example, have an amazing sense of humour and don't take themselves or the world very seriously.
I have to give Poles credit, though. They are basically Brazil in comparison to Germany. The Germans really are the most boring, lifeless, stuck up sods on the entire planet.
