Highly likely. He doesn't fly much and is not too savvy when it comes to airline tricks.

They cannot be applied in the US. Obama signed a law into place in 2010 which prevents the enforcement of foreign libel cases in the US if they're incompatible with the legendary First Amendment. In this case, the Admin can sit safely.

He's Polish, so if he has any EU assets or visits Europe they can be at risk. Its not just him, however, its anyone who posts rumors who is EU based.

US 'freedom of speech' laws only applies to US citizens, if the EU can get you the US will comply with the treaties.

Looking like its true, therefore not a problem.

Official news now, does not sound good

(If Google translated it correctly, it appears to say flights are suspended for tomorrow.)

They're finished, at least in terms of scheduled airline service. It's complicated to explain, but it looks as if the charter side of their business is fine - because it's technically a separate airline.

I still think there's plenty of potential in Poland for properly thought out internal flights, but OLT were ridiculous - Poznan-Szczecin flights anyone?!

Thanks for pointing that out.

Ironically last night on the news web page about their demise, the top-most banner ad was advertising their low ticket price to Warsaw....

Why should the government give up the monopoly that (government funded) LOT have on internal flights to a private company on the best routes? Why would the average Pole pay to fly when the trains are so cheap? Poland will never have an 'easyjet' or a 'flybe'.

Eurolot, owned by the LOT Polish national carrier, has announced that it will be taking passengers who have bought tickets for OLT Express flights if similar routes are available.
