I hope we are not entering another one. :)

It seems to be A Song of Fire rather than of Ice for now :(:

I wish we had such stuff when I was at high school :) - kids from the art school I graduated from had a shooting practice at a virtual shooting range as part of Education for Safety classes:

@Paulina
Geez, those kids, it their first time holding a weapon. Who is their instructor?

Virtual-srirtual. We had a real shooting range at school (which was in old Prussian army barracks), and we had classes there shooting "Radomki" (kbks wz. 48). We also threw empty grenades at a target, and ran up and down the stairs wearing OP-1 and gas masks. Aaah, good old 1990s.

My sister's class, at the very same school, 5 years later had none of that. We were one of the last Dzieci Wojny. ;)

Sorry to hear about the fires in Świętokrzyskie.

Geez, those kids

My thoughts exactly.

Co to, kurwa, będzie Iron, jak nas starej rezerwy zabraknie? Chuj, dupa i kamieni kupa. :(

Most probably.

Who is their instructor?

No idea. This virtual shooting range is organised by teachers' centre (Świętokrzyskie Centrum Doskonalenia Nauczycieli).

We had a real shooting range at school

Damn... Seriously? o_O Was it at high school level? We only had to put on a gas mask and learn about different types of alarms and stuff like that. I don't even remember any first aid training (we learned CPR at secondary school, but I think such stuff should be repeated at high school level too).

We were one of the last Dzieci Wojny. ;)

Lucky you ;)

I'm guessing that virtual shooting range is simply cheaper - thanks to that every school can have those classes.

Sorry to hear about the fires in Świętokrzyskie.

Thanks, that's nothing in comparison to that primeval forest fire at Roztocze though :(

Yip. 1994-1998 :)

virtual shooting range is simply cheaper

And safer! You wouldn't believe some of the bullsh*t that we were pulling! A mat-fiz class with only 3 girls, and 31 boys with overgrown egos and too much testosterone, in Słupsk--basically the worst place in Polish Wild West (Ziemie Odzyskane). Ah, damn it - how the time flies. :)

Spill the beans then ;)

in Słupsk

So you're not from Gdańsk?

Spill the beans then

No can do. Some of those involved are still alive. xD

So you're not from Gdańsk?

Not originally. I spent my childhood and early youth in Słupsk. It's kinda like growing up in Dodge City in 1870s.
