Training for Teaching Assistants in Warsaw

Hi all,

I sought out this site to try to gauge opinion and advice.

The context:

There is a significant population of Polish nationals living in England and Wales. Polish nationals have a reputation for hard work. English and Welsh schools educate Polish nationals.

The idea:

To train Polish nationals who are considering relocating to England and Wales to enable them to gain a qualification that is recognised across England and Wales and which will place them well for seeking out work as Teaching Assistants in our schools. This would initially be based in Warsaw but if successful expand to other cities.

The benefits:

Polish nationals can attain recognised qualifications before relocating strengthening their position in the job market once they arrive. The education sector will benefit from well qualified teaching assistants with a high work ethic. Children benefit from being educated by skilled people from other cultures. In areas in England and Wales where Polish communities have become established, schools will have the opportunity to employ Teaching Assistants of Polish origin which will increase the schools ability to integrate Polish children into their schools.

My questions:

Is this something that would be valued in Poland?
Is there are market for this?
Would it be beneficial to provide a more intensive full time course over 10-14 weeks or a part time course over 20-30 weeks?
Would Polish schools welcome the opportunity to assist in the training through the offer of school placement for students on this proposed course?
What would Polish nationals be willing to pay to access the following qualifications with full training that would lead to qualifications recognised by schools in England and Wales:

Level 2 Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Schools
Level 3 Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Schools

Both qualifications are based on the Education system in England and Wales and the teaching and learning practices employed. They are nationally recognised across the Education system.

If this is a non starter, then fair enough. Thanks in advance of your help whether you are able to answer one question or all of them.

Thanks,

Paul

If it is enough practical knowledge, skills included, for example first steps for searching a job in UK, starting new business, ability to fulfill official letters, papers, etc - the answer is yes.

Is there are market for this?

Since the UK borders are still open, and new employers are yet welcomed there - yes. Lot of young people see their future abroad.

Full time course with guaranteed job / internship would be best solution.

Would Polish schools welcome the opportunity to assist in the training through the offer of school placement for students on this proposed course?

It depends how many students would volunteer, and how the school could benefit. Good business plan required.
