Do you want you son to go to a private polish or english school. I know of a really good private polish school in krakow,if he is six it a perfect time to put him into a polish school if you want him to really learn the language.

What is your nationality?

Either polish or English will do. I want to settle for few years in Krakow so I guess learning polish would be a good idea.

Could you let me know the address of the school?

A child is not a commodity, just go to the international school in Krakow, it would probably serve your needs, and of course I guess it would be a great idea to learn Polish until the next country comes along

I am not putting my son as a commodity, and like I said I want to stay for few years thats why looking for something which has dual language would be very good, not for me but for the kids.

International scchool are a bit expensive especially if you have 2 kids, so I prefer some private school which are taughting 2 language

Hi...I'm from India.

We might move to Poland (don't know where in Poland exactly) in 2 months from now. I'm basically worried about coping with the language there and schooling for my 3 year old. Does Poland have good (English) schools for Non-Residents? Someone please help!!

ISK and BISC here in Krakow are great international schools--but you're right, both are pricey.

There are several good, less expensive, private Polish elementary and gymnasium schools here which offer English lessons taught by native speakers, but most classes do still take place in Polish. Without some Polish, it will be difficult for your child to acclimate.

I do not know of any Polish public school where most classroom lessons are taught primarily in English. Anyone else here in Krakow know of one?

There is a good private preschool here which has been highly recommended to me before--I believe it is this one, called Rainbow Preschool: rainbow.krakow.pl

It is for kids aged 3-6 years. At 6, kids go to either Grade 0 (kindergarden) and at age 7, are in Grade 1 (first grade) here.

Your child could acclimate to the Polish language while receiving primary instruction in English at this place.

Good luck!

Thanks alot bookratt....I went through the school's website and I think great.

Once I get a clarity on our movement to Krakow, I would probably come up asking for more information.

Thank you once again.
