Medical Student Volunteer Organisations in Poland?

Hello!

I am a Danish medical student who wants to find out, if there is a vonlunteer-organisation culture among Polish medical students like in Denmark. It could for example be an organisation that offers safe sex-education for 8th grade students, or an organisations that tries to teach the Polish people about organ-donation and make them make a choise, or an organisation with focus on psychiatric education for students and so on.

Is there a website or a place I can find information about this?

Thank you :-)

Look at Redemptoris Missio Foundation:

In Poznan operates the Humanitarian Aid Foundation "Redemptoris Missio". It was created with the help of Poznan Medical Academy faculty. It sends overseas transports with materials dressings, medicines and medical equipment. Its volunteers are recruited mainly among medical students. They benefit from the several months program of medical practices abroad. Helping the sick, gain experience in medical practice. Eager Foundation members pass first course HTC, in other words Healthcare in the Tropics. The Foundation organizes it in cooperation with the Clinic of Tropical and Parasitic Diseases, of the Medical University in Poznan. From so trained personnel, recruited people are sent to the representation of health centers in Third World countries. When the local doctor goes on vacation, the Foundation selects a suitable substitute in Poland among alumni volunteers. And if anything, also sends assistants to administer the health center.
