Hey everyone.

I've been reading these forums for the last couple days and have enjoyed my time reading your banter.

I am very excited to come to Poland. I never thought that I would ever be going to Warsaw.

I once read 'Ender's Game' a book by Orson Scott Card, and in that book there was a thing called the 'Warsaw Pact.' I was very confident that I would never see a city by that name. It always brings a smile to my face.

Anyways about myself. I live in a small town called Campbell River where about 30 000 people live. It is located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.

I have never lived in a city. The tallest building in my town is 6 stories. I live 30 seconds to the ocean, 15 minutes to the lakes (there are countless lakes) and 30 minutes to the mountains!

I am studying business. My college offers an exchange scholarship that I could not say no to!!! I am very excited to come to Poland and live like a king ;) hahha.

Definitely looking forward to the food. My goal is to gain 20-30 pounds while I'm there. Hahah should be easy!

Definitely looking forward to Snowboarding the Tatras.

Definitely looking forward to plenty of Polish ladies!

It is interesting to get myself into the mind frame that I pretty much live in Poland now... I'll be there in less than two weeks.

See you all very soon!!!!

If you have any questions about British Columbia I can answer any that you have. If you are planning to come to North America then BC is the only place you should visit! I may be biased but it is beautiful here and there is tons of space.

HAHA funny guy Bzib.

Tickets were $600 for opening ceremonies... that's not even a good seat!

Hockey tickets are $1400 +

Plus food, accomodation, drinks, travel.

Olympics are for the very rich. (prices are in Canadian dollars)

The olympics are a massive joke. The only thing that I can hope for is cheap accomodation in Whistler after the olympics because they are building so many new places.

Whistler is absolutely amazing! Words can't describe it's incredible nature. ;)

Ah excellent, a girl, and a Canadian!

How's the language barrier in Poland/Warsaw/Any Major City?

In Warsaw you will find plenty of English speaking ppl. Even on this forum are at least two guys living in Warsaw right now.

Ok, G-night.
