erika5 24 Oct 2013 #1thinking of renting a room here. Is it safe for foreigners in general both at day and night?
Dougpol1 24 Oct 2013 #3Depressing as F - that's what it is like. It will damage you. Please don't consider it; any inner city in the Uk is a picnic by comparison. It is safe though. I lived down the road for 21 years, and often drank and holed up there - never any bother bar the once when I had to stand and fight - but that might kick off in any British town. Also - there are police patrols every 25 minutes at night - I timed them....safest place in Kato, apart from the police rogue elements of course.....PS - If you ignore the advice, there is one safe bar there Erika - on Gliwicka at number 218 - tell Tony the Kosowan I sent you and he'll treat you right :)It's a smoking bar too - no police ever set their foot in there :))
Harry 24 Oct 2013 #4It's a smoking bar too - no police ever set their foot in there :))More than a couple of the gay bars in Warsaw are like that: no police ever go there, or at least while they're working anyway.
Dougpol1 24 Oct 2013 #5That's quite funny Harry. Are you insinuating something, nudge nudge, wink wink?
Dougpol1 25 Oct 2013 #7Er....."the police don't go to gay bars when they're working" - as in - so do they go there in theirleisure hours? Oh well.... I found it amusing. Tiny things amuse tiny minds I suppose.
