Moving to Lublin - what now?

Hello everyone,
My family and I have decided to move to Lublin and we're currently looking for a house with a small plot of land. Our target is around 120-130 m² and a budget of about 1 million PLN.

At the moment we don't live in Lublin yet, but we've been researching areas for around two months. We've received recommendations for places like Czuby, Węglin, Głusk / Dziesiąta, and also the Felin / Abramowice Prywatne / Kalinówka / Świdnik area. What is your opinion about these districts? Are they good places to live? Are there any other areas you would recommend?

We're looking for a quiet and family-friendly neighborhood, but still close to a large urban area, with good access to services, schools, shops and public transport, since we would need to commute to the city every day.

We have a 3-year-old daughter and at the moment we don't own a car, so we cannot depend on a car for daily life (in the future we probably will, but not right now). We are used to living in Kraków, where everything is nearby and the city center is about 15-20 minutes by public transport. What we really want to avoid is moving to an isolated area where a car is necessary for everything.

We don't know anyone in Lublin yet, so unfortunately we don't have anyone local to ask for advice, that's why we decided to write this post.
Finally, if anyone knows any developers, construction companies, or projects that are building or planning to build houses in 2026 in these areas (or in other recommended areas), we would really appreciate any contacts or information.
Thank you very much in advance for any advice or insights!

budget of about 1 million PLN.

Lublin isn't a large city and for that amount you could definitely buy a house in virtually any district. I recommend terraced houses; they're cheaper.

Nope with the actual prices, most of the stuff is developer standard for around 1m then you have to add much more money in order to finish it, we took a look at terraced houses but we don't like to be between and between, we prefer detached or semidetached
