Would you say Katowice offers similar opportunities for someone in banking industry as Warsaw?

All I have to say is, get a HEPA filter. If you are in Germany or the UK, get one there because they are very hard to find in Poland. The air is so bad in Katowice that it is often worse than in Beijing and other Chinese cities. Kraków looks like it is foggy all winter because of the pollution and Katowice is even worse. I would only go to Southern Poland during the summer.

At the storefront level, yes. But the higher up you go, the more concentrated the opportunities become in the capital.

So at the vp level is that considered niche opportunitywise?

@Annitta

I'm not really sure what you are asking about. There would be only a small number of vacancies at the VP level in the whole country, a good number of which would be filled internally. Showing up in Katowice cold and expecting to chance upon a vacancy for a VP position at a bank would seem to be a bit overly optimistic, even if one did have relevant experience. Why are you asking?

She's not really asking about anything. She's just trying to make her minimum number of required posts so that she can use the PM function. I mean I don't think that running enterprise events as her hubby does, would qualify him to be vice president of a bank. It's Poland - not Dijibouti :))
