Wrong measurement!

Are people dreaming of living in China? Are they flocking to it's borders to get asylum? Do they want to immigrate there?

No, no and no....

And leaving is not that easy for chinese people!

...Since the start of Xi Jinping's rule the number of refugees fleeing China has increased from 15,362 to 107,864 per year with 613,000 people applying for asylum abroad from 2012 to 2020.

But at least the new german gov is moving:

(Google translate)

Federal government classifies China as a "systemic rival".

spiegel.de/ausland/deutschland-und-china-bundesregierung-stuft-peking-als-systemischen-rivalen-ein-a-11c41ab1-dc07-43ee-8881-bf3658850f66

Driven by the Greens and the FDP, the federal government is taking a tougher stance on Beijing. She wants to reduce economic dependency and strengthen relations with democratic states in Asia....

...about time!

Have you seen anything written in Chinese? That alone is better than minefields and barbed wire.

People make their choices with their feet (if necessary)....

How many children in German schools have poor command in German?
I wonder, with what Arian population masses Hitler planned to settle huge newly conquered territories in the East? Average fertility rate per family in Germany "skyrocketed" from 1.77 in 1935 to 2.24 in 1940, what is just a replacement level. But then droped again in 1945 to 1.9.

The Nazis didn't attempt to implement any efficient baby boom methods. What they counted for?! They intended to displace hundreds of millions of people...

The Nazi plans were not sane, you know that.....so were stalinist/communist plans.

Both ideologies are inhuman, as in not-human...that's why they failed and will always fail, people just don't work that way!

Do you mean children that should not be in Germany in the first place? The foreign Muslim scum offsprings? Poor Hitler...

I have suspicion that at the end of his life BB may start to see a sweet nostalgic dreams about GDR. So much will change Berlin's culture, external appearance, way of life and the way people are talking on the strits. Economy likely will also deserve for better. GDR at least had stability and didn't change too fast.

I already am in that phase. My reoccurring nightmare is a thousand foreign scum running for the US border. Then I wake wet...

I wonder what he is missing the most from "good 'ol times"? The lack of choices? The fear? The need to lick party boots? What?

What?

It was just a joke. But it gives some thoughts about a general direction of development...

I doubt that was a joke....

For the development....capitalism is missing its big rival, it was better with true competition.

Democratic socialism is a political philosophy that supports political democracy within a socially owned economy,[1] with a particular emphasis on economic democracy, workplace democracy, and workers' self-management[2] within a market socialist economy, or an alternative form of decentralised planned socialist economy.

Democratic socialism

There is no democratic socialism....the moment people get to vote the possibility/danger exists they decide not for socialism....that must not be allowed...for the cause!

There were cases when Socialist party obeyed election rules even after caming to power. For example in France.

Vlad, one socialist party in a democracy is not the problem....socialism is!

What do you call a system where one person can lock the whole place down, keep you under house arrest, ruin businesses, drive people to suicide, empty out shelves, etc....

Oops, I forgot. It's called a democracy. After all, the inmates voted for that person, so tough sh*it.

To China's credit, China never called itself a democracy. Fascist states like Australia do.

I like their immigration policy, drug enforcement, quick executions, clean streets without feces, children respecting their parents, absence of Muslims, economic growth, stability, predictability, low crime rates, nukes, no bases all over the world, the way they deal for Facebook and other subversive Western outfits, spies, food, and tons of money.

Any other questions about China?
I already said that I wouldn't want to live in Monaco, Warsaw, or Buckingham Palace, so don't ask me why I didn't move to China.

I wonder, why USSR and GDR in its time disn't went by Chinise path? Did they believe it is totally impossible?

I wonder what he is missing the most from "good 'ol times"?

Freedom of movement. Ability to owe at least some personal property.
Novichok 3 | 7,111

I wonder, why USSR and GDR in its time didn't go by the Chinese path?

That was the best question ever.

This is the new model even Western "democracies" adopted: Make all the money you can. Power is ours. To fool you, we will be changing the actors and call it "elections". The obedient, trusting morons - aka voters - will swallow it, line, hook, and sinker. And they do.

That was brilliant, Novichok.

What do you think about this concept?
Economic democracy is a socioeconomic philosophy that proposes to shift decision-making power from corporate managers and corporate shareholders to a larger group of public stakeholders that includes workers, customers, suppliers, neighbours and the broader public.

Novichok 3 | 7,111

to a larger group of public stakeholders that includes workers,

As long as they can (1) study the market, (2) write a proposal, (3) estimate sales, (4) write the specifications, (5) hire qualified engineers, (6) set up sales and service offices, (7) hire production people, (8) decide salaries, (9) decide who get promoted and who gets fired, (10) apply for loans, (11) risk their personal capital, and (12) take the loss when things go bad...I am all for "economic democracy".

How well did it work so far?

How well did it work so far?

Or just wisely elect their managers and director's board.

They lost even more from Stalin.

Russia already took tribute for this in the form of Abkazia and South Osetia.

After being arrested, Kosmodemyanskaya was stripped, beaten, interrogated and tortured with 200 lashes and her body burnt,[11] but refused to give any information.

180 years ago Russian wrighter of Ukrainian ancestry Nikolai Gogol wrote in one of his novels: "Whether there is in this World such a tornments, such a fires and such a powers, which would be able to break the Russian Power?! " How impressive that she and many others had proved his words...

I could offer the faith to people who rejected religion in favor of science. A wormhole to a better universe will be created! They could just believe in it and have a hope.
