DO YOU WEAR A MASK?

Some people wear masks, some don't. Masks are ineffective if worn wrong. sick people should wear the mask, otherwise if you are not sick, the virus will get into your mouth, since it's covered, and multiply under the moist mask. Some people cover their mouths with a scarf, which does nothing. Some people wear the same mask over and over. If you think a mask protects you, do it. I will never wear a muzzle.

It could be argued that people who do wear masks help protect people like you from catching the virus. A mask would reduce the distance droplets travel when someone coughs or sneezes. Many states in the USA are having Covid 19 surges, could this be down to all those mass gatherings a couple of weeks ago, where many people could be seen without masks? If this could be part of the reason then I wouldn't be surprised if the UK get some more surges in the next couple of weeks as well.

I wear it in a shop or on office or somewhere else where they have a sign saying please wear a mask.

I don't know if it works - probably not but it doesn't take a lot of effort, most shop interactions are a few minutes at most,

I never wear one in the street. I think it's unhygienic and less healthy than fresh air and sunshine on my face

Me either. I only wear it going to a store bc our governor ( Illinois) declared its a law. And if you own a restaurant and dont listen to his demands you will go to jail.

down to all those mass gatherings a couple of weeks ago

It was declared by the MSM it was perfectly fine to attend anti police protests all over the county, but if you go to church or show up for a Trump rally, you're a racist!

They had anti 4th of July protests last night in 5 cities with full coverage on CNN. Not a concern about the virus at all if its sponsored by BLM. Yet, they cancelled all the firework displays tonight out of virus fear mongering and of course it being Pro-American.

The whole mask/virus thing has been politicalized in the USA. We all know about the Dems double standards and need to vote these marxist bums out of here!

bc our governor ( Illinois) declared its a law.

That just shows you how a law has to be implemented to force the self serving selfish people that show no respect for others to be held accountable.

And these are the same people who spread it to potentially kill another person and end up taking a hospital bed when they contract it at everyone else's expense.

Another law ought to be passed that if you refuse to wear a mask in public then if you contract the virus you get no hospital care for being an ass.

People that have no respect for others should be culled out of society IMO.
The vaccine will be available soon so why can't these idiots practice some self control until then ?

Yes, the best time to visit them is during Venice Carnival.

I go to the public library almost every day. They always measure my temperature and I must wear a mask in cabinets. Besides that, I don't use a mask on the streets and only sometimes using it when going to shops and visit clients.

Masks unmask the idiots who wear them while walking, biking, or driving with the windows up and alone, with the next person a city block away. I see them every time when I am out.

What is really scary is that mindless and over-obedient morons like this can be talked into anything. Including gassing kids.
That's how every system, including Western "democracies", works - by scaring the trusting, the gullible, and the spineless into compliance with their rulers.

Ive noticed idiots wearing masks while Im driving. Its not carpoolers either, ppl driving all alone. Are they afraid to give the virus to themselves or catch it? lol

Its all about control. You can tell who's an obedient libtard in about 1/2 a second these days.

Its all about control.

Spot on. It's also a test of how far a tyrannical "democracy" like California can go before the riots start. So far - very far and without as much as a polite request for that scientific data all that bull is allegedly based on.

Did you notice how hard it is to get any info beyond those idiotic "cases"? How about the age of those who died from the virus? Or is it "with the virus"?

Another day, another sight of mask morons driving alone, windows up, and masks on.

I did it today. I also put on my sunglasses and lowered the sun visor. Everything to avoid applauding crowds in streets - they always do when they see me.

You can easily spot libtards these days. I seen one wearing a medical gown, face shield, mask and gloves at the grocery store, before he got into his Prius and drove away.lol

The infamous " Spitter" has always popular amongst other "decent" leftturds.

No, moron, he had old parents whom he loved a lot and didn`t want to pass the virus onto them. Sth you will never understand, being a fan of brutal civil wars and murdering your opponents.

You don't know that. We have stopped shopping in person for food a long time ago. Everything can be delivered or picked up at the curb. They will even deliver a brand new car to your garage, sight unseen.

That clown was one of these over-complying morons I see every day. Just another way to virtue-signal the fact that he is a concerned, loving, sensitive, and caring person. And a mindless idiot because MASKS do not protect the wearer!!!!!!

I saw a guy/gal lol wearing that hazmat suit in the plane, infact in March a friend of mine in Poland gave me 2 he bought from Leroy Merlin.I wear a face shield I got from Loews and some fancy half face shields from Poland but in the gym they want you to wear a proper mask covering nose and mouth and they enforce that.

What club do you belong to? LA Fitness wants masks only as you enter. Unless that has changed.
Wearing a mask when you are pumping is insanity.

You don't know that

But you didn`t know if he was a libtard, either. So, it is a draw - he could be one or have elderly parents he cared for.

We have stopped shopping in person for food a long time ago

Really? So why are car parks still full in front of shopping centres??

Besides, online shopping seems boring coz going personally allows you to have a different choice every time you go.

And a mindless idiot because MASKS do not protect the wearer!!!!!!

Be reasonable. Everybody knows they don`t. Their aim is to reduce the spread of virus around you.

Now I like you.

But you didn`t know if he was a libtard, either.

No, not for sure. Just based on the statistics which group - the leftists or the patriots - is more obedient to the system and more likely to fold and over-obey where wearing a mask is not required or justified.

Really? So why are car parks still full in front of shopping centres??

"We" meant my wife and me.

Be reasonable. Everybody knows they don`t. Their aim is to reduce the spread of virus around you.

Great point. Finally, we are in agreement, in principle at least. But, as you know, principles have exceptions. Masks protect others ONLY when the wearer is (1) sneezing, (2) speaking and spitting, or (3) coughing. When I am doing none of it, I am not a threat to anyone. Breathing is not optional and, coincidently, irrelevant as far as this so-called "pandemic" is concerned. What the mask robots ignore is that their eyes are a perfect conduit for the airborne virus.

Thanks for treating me like I am an adult. When you do it, I will return the favor.

Back to the masks - my favorite target lately. In the last couple of months, I had to see several doctors. As is my habit, the mask is off when I am waiting in the examination room. When he finally walks in, my first words are: Do you want me to put this stupid mask on? Three out of four said, no, with that tone if pretend irritation that implies, hell, no.

The fourth one was my cardio doc. His answer: Yes. How do you feel?
"I feel terrible. My heart is pounding. I can barely breathe. I feel just like I did before my heart attack. You sure I have to wear that mask?"

"Yes. That's the rule".
"So let me get it straight. You have your mask on. I am suffering. But the rule is more important to you?
"That's the rule."

F**k you. You will never see me again, you pos. That was silent.

I take your post as sincere. If that's the case, I appreciate it. One day I may actually need it, but not just yet.

Now, another confession...I lied to him to see his reaction. My visit was a routine, once-a-year kind and I felt fine, heart-wise.
If you want to say that a man must be nuts to lie to his cardio doc, I will not argue that. I just didn't like the guy and I was mad about that clinic and their demand that I wear a mask while doing a stress test. No, I didn't use my middle finger, but I was close to it.

Quite correctly coz when I wish sb a good health, I am always sincere. I wished it to Trump when he tested positive and you are certainly not worse. :::::)

.I lied to him. My visit was a routine, once-a-year kind and I felt fine, heart-wise.

Oops, you need to consult a doctor but certainly not a cardiologist. I advise it to you as a psychologist but I feel incompetent to solve your disorder here. Being so hungry for attention verges on a mental problem. But I think you got used to it over decades. hahaha

No, moron, he had old parents whom he loved a lot and didn`t want to pass the virus onto them.

Indeed, I will likely do the same when I visit my parents and grandparents for Christmas including the days before. I am not too afraid of the virus myself, I likely had it once already and got better soon without aftereffects. But the idea that I might catch it and transmit it to my loved ones just because I was too lazy to take proper precautions sickens me.

Being so hungry for attention verges on a mental problem.

It was not a hunger for attention. I have a right to know if I am dealing with an obedient moron or a professional who, like a lawyer, will always be on my side.

and transmit it to my loved ones

Your mask has nothing to do with if you are going to catch it or not. I have yet to see a single person sneezing, coughing, or sneezing in a store. Touching knobs, shopping carts, and washings hands is another matter and should be done routinely - coronavirus or not. With these idiotic masks, we tend to touch our faces a lot more than without masks. Plus, a mask with that moisture and the crap we exhale and cough out is a petri dish you would be petrified to know what's in it.

Also, masks should be taken off as soon as they are not required or medically justified. The mask morons I see every day wear them walking empty parks and streets and driving.

Scary. Not the virus but the mindless over-obedience.

Rich you are lucky to even see a cardiologist - here in Poland all kinds of medical stuff is basically suspended, even if you want to do it privately. You certainly wouldn't get in the building without a mask.

Hope you are feeling better ! I had a scare last year during a trip to the US and if nothing else I'm glad of the lifestyle changes - they will hopefully make it easier if I do get Covid.

I appreciate your post. Say what you want about "America" but getting sick is best done here, especially if one is on Medicare. Even now, with the virus, I can see a specialist within literally days.

I feel for the people who can't do it. Or, what's even worse, can't help their kids. That must be hell.

I feel fine. It was a routine scheduled visit. I just didn't like that doc so I gave him a quick and final test. He failed it. Goodbye.

I'm glad of the lifestyle changes - they will hopefully make it easier if I do get Covid.

Can you expand on what you meant by this?
