Nothing is sustainable. One day, we will run out of stuff to make "sustainable" cars and room to dump their "sustainable" and very toxic batteries.

Joker, if you had to buy a car, would you get AWD or RWD if those are the only choices?

If it's a car, RWD all the way! I like pickup trucks and always get 4x4 but for a car its RWD like the old days:)

I feel the same way. My dilemma is there are no RWD Lexus LS460 cars in the Chicago area. If I get one, it would probably be hard to sell. Safetism is a mental disorder even when it's about cars.

If you do find one they will want a ridiculous amount of money for it.

This morning, I drove an AWD 2014 LS460. Nice car - inside and out. But you can't feel those 360 horses because of that stupid AWD. It sucks the power and weighs 400 pounds more.

I think I am going to break down and buy one with AWD since RWDs are nowhere to be found within 300 miles.

AWD? Sounds like an armoured Soviet jeep from 1980s. Are you really proud of driving such stuff? Amazing.

Five months of the year we have deep snow and ice on our roads.
AWD really makes a huge difference when it comes to traction.

I live in the mountains and I use only FWD-cars. Since they have ABS, ESP, ASR and so on it was never a problem for me to drive in winter. This electronical devices are superb in combination with winter tyres.

They should have left it at 4X4 its easy to understand and if its not broke, don't fix it.
