I already checked into this but the gain in hp is too small and the cost too high to make sense. Plus Lexus wouldn't service it most likely.

I am depending on my "cyber trucks" 2 of em if they ever come out but not that expensive 35k and the top model for 89k both with full options without solar charge.

Jaguar does not have a very good reputation in Germany, just like the entire British economy, despite the fact that it builds nice designed cars. In addition they are now in lndians or some other Chinese hands.

Or in the US,I tried there F pace crossover,rattles like Maluch and feels like a flintstone car.

May I suggest a Toyota Avalon Limited to take for a test drive, Rich.
0 - 60 in 6 sec.
Extremely well built and 30 plus mpg.
Both comfort and speed.
If you want a hotrod, then go buy a Dodge Hell Cat with over 700 hp off the show room floor that does 0-60 in 3.4 seconds

If you want comfort, then go buy a loaded Caddy.
You want something in-between then get the Toyota.
They don't make luxury cars for the 1/4 mile, Rich, so it's either ither.

I want (1) a toy car that puts a smile on my face or (2) a super comfortable car that would make my ass smile, The world needs an affordable combination of both and without those stupid bolsters.

Avalon is the most sensible car out there right now.

"Hotrods" would get me killed or arrested. 0 to 60 in 5s is good enough. Unfortunately, I don't physically fit in those and they are loud because men who buy them are idiots.

They are about the same as a Lexus and about as pricey starting at $45,000.

Another group I hate with a passion is car designers. These morons, without any exceptions, got together when nobody was watching and decided that any two-door "sporty" car must be as uncomfortable as humanly possible. That includes "feeling the road" because feeling that over-bolstered hard-ike-plywood seat is not enough.

Oh, and the exhaust noise must be annoying enough to make listening to music or the passenger virtually impossible.

The designers are responsible for prototypes. Then the "real" engineers turn the prototype into the final version which is just a compromise between what could be and what must be. Only once I had a car, which in the final version was identical to the prototype. It was a Renault Avantime. Until today, a car out of this world....

I like designers.

To me, as a prospective buyer, everybody is a designer - from the guy who wrote the marketing specs to the faggot who chose the colors. Engineers are just part of the team.

The worst scum is the penny pinchers who demand that a metal part of the timing chain tensioners be plastic so that after very few miles that 50-cent plastic poc breaks and a 10,000 dollar engine is garbage. That's what Jaguar did, for example.

I went to Ford the other day to look at some trucks. They dont have many in their inventory, so they think this gives them permission to treat ppl with a condensing attitude.
