Serbians mediate between Russia and Vatican

Right now Serbian president, in Moscow, mediate between Vatican and Russian Orthodox Church, pointing out to Russians that Vatican demonstrate great level of Christian solidarity because Vatican refuses to recognize separation of Kosovo from Serbia and that way Vatican directly protecting Orthodox Christians and Christianity in general, from invasion of radical Islam.

Nikolic "persuading patriarch to organize pope's visit"

Nikolic also wondered if Christian churches, "unlike other religions," had to be "so separated, peoples divide, .......... He spoke about the Vatican's decision not to recognize the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo, "that is followed by many Catholic countries," and which he said his visit last year was dedicated.

great level of Christian solidarity

This is a great input into a thread that serves as an important reminder of the unity between Christians and strength it represents not just for Christians but for Polish overall and other nationalities.

According to Pope Francis, Putin is "the only one with whom the Catholic Church can unite to defend Christians in the East."

Sorry Crow we don't need putin, We still embrace the path of peace, we turn our cheek although there are those who slaughter us this day.

Easter is a special time for us, the resurrection of Christ our savior gives us hope and is an example of how to stand against those who wish to do evil.

alright, let me see if i understand this correctly. If tomorrow, hypothetically, for example Scotland call Russia to help against Islamic radicalization in England, Russia can, with bless of Vatican and Pope himself, militarily intervene in London and deal with radical Muslims, considering that UK isn`t capable to offer safety to its own Christian population.

How is this world interesting place that constantly change. This all is so exciting

"Pope Francis personally stopped canonization of Stepinac"

Pope Francis personally stopped the canonization of Croatian Cardinal Alojzije Stepinac after a letter sent to him by Serbian Orthodox Patriarch Irinej.

Stepinac was a high priest who supported the NDH - the WW2-era Nazi-allied Independent State of Croatia - who forcibly converted Orthodox believers (into Catholicism), and supported "racial" laws.

Good. Stepinac was a swine.

Canonization of Stepinac would be great blow onto the everything sacred in Catholic Church and Christianity in general. By reacting to his canonization and informing Pope, Orthodox Serbians did a great service to Vatican and to all our Christian Catholic brothers. Somebody wanted to hijack sainthood as it is and its prevented now.

As old member of this forum, a veteran, let me inform you Pane brate Admine, that rules of forum nicely says: ``Off-topic talk not necessarily related to Poland``. Rules established by brat owner of web site (i suppose, or by his wife,.. whatever).

Anyway, i regularly braking that rule and i ALWAYS writes about Poland, even in off-topic.

Pane Brate Admine! Crow got you and you are a hypocrite, didn't I make a mention of it before? So many posts related exclusively to American political and social scene are posted not only in off topic forum but in general one and are accepted without blinking an eye by you, so from now on it would suffice that you undertake a more consequential approach when making your statements in pursuit of adherence to the rule which you violate yourself all the time. In any case, here you have made another mistake and even overlooked the rule and so Crow pointed it out for as a second tragedy, you are confusing the protocol.

Just like Polish Catholic Church the Russian Othodox Church stands side by side the people upholding patriotic values that make communities belonging to those churches feel safe and strong. This is a great example for Polish population to keep up the good work by maintaining its solidarity with the Catholic Church.

one info just got to me

Dedicated, the wealthiest and most powerful Christian order of our time, Knights Templar, wants to help, by financing it themselves, restoration of Serbian Orthodox Church in New York, USA - that was destroyed in fire (there were controversial rapports about that fire in case eventual Muslim involvement) during last Christmas.

We live in truly important times. God is with us.
