Big pussies of WWII? Hmm, hard to tell, this is such a technical term... LOL

I chose the terminology very carefully so Americans would understand. Puss1e in this context is after all an American word, right?

silly question. People who want to get their hands on said flag would attack Serbia :) i wonder what they would do with this flag after that oO

Educated man from civilized western hemisphere quoting Bismarck about Balkans

in Polish literature you can read about last word of Bismarck on his deathbed. Man just said `Serbia` and died. that was his last.

BB doesn't seem to think so.

BB? Sorry, but I really could not anticipate that u would rely on his estimation.

He's a fascho.

Germany in top ten. Pa, ok, but really, in this list everybody can get a place in the spotlight...

BB is a fascist???

Yeah, I loved Budva, Sveti Stefan and Kotor. They were beautiful. I like their wine, Vrana─ç :) The people were also warm and vibrant! I could quite comfortably live there for a while.

I consider the Americans to be the biggest pussies of all.

Then why did you migrate to America if you hate us so ?
Brave is not the word that this topic is referring to, "pussies" is.
To make such a huge decision to end the war with a nuke before Japan did was not being a pussie.
It saved many more American lives than what it took.
Japan was very close to the development of the A-bomb to use on the U.S.A.
You really should be stripped of your American citizenship for the hate you show toward America and sent back to Australia.

nuking japan also saved them from russian domination and most likely countless more lives lost under whatever would have followed. Also Japan would most likely only be an emerging country today instead of a first world leader in some areas. it seems like a cruel move but was calculated and wise in the long run.

Don't be silly. Do you really believe the American version of history is 100% true? Ask the Poles what they think about Yalta.

To make such a huge decision to end the war with a nuke before Japan did was not being a pussie.

So you think that ordering the firebombing of defenseless cities, dropping nukes on civilians, or using Napalm on Vietnamese children (not WW2) doesn't count as "being a pussie"? Okay, I have better name for it: committing war crimes.

You really should be stripped of your American citizenship for the hate you show toward America and sent back to Australia.

You should really be banned permanently for your personal attacks and for digging up 7 year old garbage...

This was the topic but I see you have added several deflects to confuse the issue as always to avoid being embarrassed.

for your personal attacks

MY PERSONAL ATTACK !
That was simply a my opinion on your personal anti American attack on my country egg head.
The hate you show for America not only in this post but all your posts is very un-American so you should get the hell out of America especially being here as a guest immigrant.

You have never served in Americas military, you have never voted in America and you were not born in America yet you have the audacity to belittle America and its leaders by calling them pussies when in essence you are the pussie.

Tell me Pal, if Americans are pussies for saving lives with a couple of nukes that killed a couple hundred thousand innocent compared to what your Jerrie relatives did to 6 million innocent Jews, what would you call them ?

Millennials in the West are a bunch of crybaby whiners who think communism is going to solve all the problems in society. They expect everything to be handed to them and think they're somehow so special. There definitely weren't participation trophies, 50+ different genders, and sorts of other BS coming from baby boomers. Our biggest accomplishment is making less money than our parents and living in their basement while criticizing their conservative old school values. Its no wonder they have such a hard time in modern society. They can't be financially successful so instead they become SJW's.

At least these basement dwelling baristas, as Hillary Clinton so eloquently put it, have Bernie Sanders.

The percent of western young men who don't know how to do simple things like changing the brakes on their car or installing a ceiling fan is appalling. When I see a young guy on the side of the road watching a guy from AAA changing his tire its just more proof of how demasculinated young western men have become. They'll even wear pink pu$$y hats and march against the meanie Trump. Just look at how western males are portrayed on retarded MTV reality shows and other BS - pencil neck skinny jean wearing fags with femmy voices who have lost their balls and have no hope of regaining them.

You consider long hair, free love, drugs, psychedelic music and going against the establishment "conservative old school values" of the Baby Boomers? That's funny.

At least they weren't lobbying to bring in a bunch of turd world foreigners to replace Christian Europeans...

Said hippies do not represent a majority of baby boomers. Also, many of them have since grown up and live a normal suburban life. The suburb next to mine is filled with them. They look like your typical traditional white suburban family yet have dancing bear stickers on their SUVs. They 'rebelled' during their college years, much like people have done for decades...

well I am the mother of two millenial children and absolutely do not see in them this nonsense that you are spouting.
Lyzko 18 | 5,325
29 Nov 2017  #22
As their mother, roz, you wouldn't now, would you? It takes the perspective of distance to analyze effectively, at least, objectively, how another person appears to the outside world:-) This doesn't mean of course, truthfully, however, it does make the point of view less partisan.

lyzko I am not that blind, thanks.
I absolutely do not recognise these spoilt precious millenials that Dirk is describing. If I had a tyre blowout they would be fighting each other to get the jack.

ofc they could be a figment of his tortured imagination, or on the other hand, maybe it's an American thing..:):)
Lyzko 18 | 5,325
29 Nov 2017  #24
Obviously, not ALL millenials are as he or even I have described!! Nor are all boomers as I posted earlier. The Greatest Generation surely had plenty of chinks in their armor to go round as well.

I was merely describing general, personal observations, roz. Don't wet yourself, for heaven's sakes:-)

Don't wet yourself, for heaven's sakes:

wtf?
I am not 'wetting myself' thank you I was merely responding to this thread. It's a discussion forum.
Would you say that to a man who had responded? I think not.
you might want to go off and have a quiet little think about your 'greatest generation' misogyny.
Old people who have nothing better to do than whine about the younger generation are invariably failures..:):)

@rozumiemnic

You're lucky then. Also, I'm assuming you don't life in a very liberal leaning city in the US. Otherwise you'd see what I'm talking about... and of course this is 100% of millennial...

Nonetheless, this article describes the situation quite well...

townhall.com/columnists/johnhawkins/2015/05/16/when-did-america-turn-into-such-a-nation-of-wimps-n1999791

How have we gotten to the point where there are so many Americans who EXPECT OTHER PEOPLE to buy their food, pay off their college loans, chip in for the mortgage, take care of their health care and hand them a shiny, happy life wrapped up in a bow - all presumably because their very existence is so wonderful that we should be grateful to have them around?

I do... and its not fun....

Luckily, I'm in the suburbs where most people are conservative. Nonetheless, the chance of Illinois turning into a red state is slim to none. Chicago, LA, San Fran, Seattle, and a few others are really the ones that are pushing the democrats further and further to the left. Its good news for republicans because more centrists are joining our ranks.

Said hippies do not represent a majority of baby boomers.

You didn't have to be a hippie to be anti-establishment in those days. From the mid 1960's to the late 1970's, there were large scale social changes going on in both the US and Europe. Only a tiny minority stuck to the old ways of the 1940's and 1950's; the rest moved on and was looking forward to the future. Do you have any idea how positive the vibes were during those times? Almost everybody was optimistic then. Now it's exactly the opposite.
