in the future, doubtless there'll be a few towns with an ulica Biedrona.

I'm sure there will; although a part of me worries that it'll be after he's been assassinated by a hate-filled moron.

Sadly, I have to agree.

is there a reason that homophobic hate speech is tolerated to the point of being encouraged here?

I'm embarrassed to tell anyone about this site. I once invited a couple of friends to check it out, but they were put off by the blatant homophobia and racism. I won't be doing that ever again.

homophobic

So you have finally seen the light that homosexuals are perverts? Interesting! So far you have tried to tell veryone they were normal.

Sadly, I have to agree.

The thing that makes me really angry is not the hate-filled morons, they are just morons and can't be expected to know any better, it's the people who facilitate them, who give them a platform on which to spread their homophic evil and their hatred; those people are at least equally guilty every time anybody is harassed, assaulted or murdered because of their sexuality or gender identity.

I've had exactly the same experience.

hate-filled morons

You can coin all kinds of clever-sounding epithets. Stalin had "enemy of the people", Hitler had "anti-Aryan", PRL persecuted people for alleged "anti-state activites", the pro-homo lobby came up with "homophobe"... that is nothing new. People of your ilk could also be labelled as "full of hatered towards the Catholic Church and its followers, the time-honoured family, patriotism and traditional values." So what else is new?

Merged: Biedroń -- the grinch of Słupsk

Słupsk's homosexual mayor Robert Biedroń is not only an atheist, militant secularist and avid supporter of freak parades, but opposes Christmas decorations as well. Tabloid Fakt reports he has imposed a ban on the traditonal Christmas tree set up in the town square. But disgruntled townsfolk plan to set up the tree in spite of their mayor's objections.

Tabloid Fakt

And that people, is where you should stop reading.
Fakt isn't even good for toilet paper.
And the people who read it are worse.

Instead of Xmas decorations though maybe install a huge plaster paris of a Tupolev Tu-154 and all the old grannies can dance around it and have a good old pray.

Everyone loves a good old pray.

Fakt isn't even good

I agree and only noticed the item in my supermarket's magazine rack (didn't buy it). But what about the essence of the storys? Is it true? If so, do you applaud your hero's decision?

If so, do you applaud your hero's decision?

My hero?
I've never even heard of this guy until now.

My hero is Samuri Jack, he's super cool.

Live and let live I say, if you wanna celebrate Xmas, go for it, if you don't then don't. Put I love Xmas decos and I think they should be put up earlier every year. I'm an atheist, but I love Xmas. Anyway, the Christians stole it from earlier relgiions. The man Jesus of Nazareth certainly wasn't born on December 24th anyway.

He hasn't banned anything - it's all about saving public money since he inherited a city with massive debts.

By the way, he is extremely popular there.

Tabloid Fakt reports he has imposed a ban on the traditonal Christmas tree set up in the town square.

He hasn't banned anything. He's wisely realised that Słupsk is financially ruined after the aquapark misadventure and other decisions of the previous mayor, and he is doing everything he can to try and bring the budget under control. They had perfectly good tress outside the Urzad Miasta there, and they are being used as Christmas trees instead.

Given that a single tree costs in the region of 30,000zł, I'd say he did the right thing. Polonius, aren't you normally one to promote government frugality?

frugality

Indeed. But when a godless LGBT actvist makes such a move for whatever reason he is invariably suspected of an ideological attack on tradition.

The town in really serious economic difficulty - to me, it makes perfect sense to use perfectly good trees without having to spend 30,000zł on one. If these people care so much - put together the money and buy the tree for the city. Job done.

He inherited a total mess, caused by the previous PiS administration and he has done very well. He also enjoys huge support within the city.

Do you have any links to him talking about his atheism? I've met him a few times and he's never mentioned that.

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic has received an invitation to participate in a regular annual meeting of the Bilderberg Group.

She is also part of that wave of Catholic Serbs that coming from shadow and seeks to end Germanic invented madness named Croatia. As I was aware from long time ago, precondition for reconciliation among Catholic and Orthodox and even Muslim Serbs (Bosniaks, who also giving a lot of signals in direction of being willing to merge with rest of the Serbs) would be clash between Catholic Serbs and Catholic Croats. Its Catholic thing. Orthodox Serbs here can give only moral support to their Catholic brothers and sure, it helping that Serbia strengthen in every sense. Liberation just must come from within of Catholic corpus.

But, honestly, I didn`t think liberator would come in face of openly gay Catholic Serbian PM.

Yes, I believe it is. Here is more to it. Story accelerate. Ana is our hero.

These days in UN was organized remembrance day for the victims of holocaust, where Serbia took part presenting in multimedia project victims of Croatian concentration camp Jasenovac, where 700.000 Serbians (of which 20.000 were little children) was during WWII butchered in most bestial ways by Croatian ustashe and in accordance with ustashe genocidal ideology of how to deal with Serbs, where ustashe used to organized contests among themselves who shall kill more Serbs in single butchering, using specially designed knife `Srbosjek` (Eng. `Serbocutter`). Data on the contests says that top ustashe recorder during one night killed 1360 Serbians with Srbosjek knife. That was absolute winner. Besides Serbs, ustashe victims were also Jews and Roma.

Anyway, Croatian officials had a nerve to send `protest note` to Serbia for organizing presentation about Jasenovac at UN.

So, our Ana reacted. Here is what she said >>>

PM sees no reason for Croatia's protest note
b92/eng/news/politics.php?yyyy=2018&mm=01&dd=29&nav_id=103369

ana

"I'm sorry about the protest note, I do not see the reason for the protest note, Croatia should have supported this exhibition to mark the terrible things that happened in the Second World War, so that they never repeat again,"

She also added >

"terrible that a debate on this issue is being conducted at all, and at the international level." .......... "Croatia should be doing it itself, alone, or work with us and with Israel and Roma organizations."
