I don't find it strange at all.
India usually makes headlines in the world news because of savage gang rapes on women and girls and is known for very misogynistic, sexist culture, the discrimination of the Dalit (the Untouchables), corruption, being a dirty, polluted country, etc. There's also India's hostile relations with Pakistan (another f*cked up country) - India-Pakistan border is one of the most militarised international boundaries in the world. And India does have nukes.

What puts me and my female friends off from India the most is it's misogynistic culture though. To the point that I don't feel like visiting it, to be honest.

I'm just surprised, because there was this famous (or rather infamous) case of very f*cked up gang rape in India in a bus:

A female student was gang raped by men in the bus and by the driver, despite the fact that she was travelling with her boyfriend. She was raped, among others, with a metal pole, disemboweled, bitten all over her body and left to die. She did die in the hospital.

The rapist that did the most cruel things to her was underage and so he got the most lenient sentence. He got out pretty quick, from what I remember.



After the rape there were protests in India in connection to the situation of women there, demanding death penalty for rape, etc. Both Polish and Western media were banging about it for a few days at least.

By the way, can anyone explain the suspicious absence of Ecuador in the Top 15 most hated countries list?


Oh, so those Hindu are not that bad, if they are protesting against it. Maybe it's just some sick gang rape movement/cult or whatever (you never know with those pagans), not their entire society, so no point hating the entire country for it?

Those who protested aren't, for sure. Maybe those protests show that there is some hope for that country. But until they sort themselves out, I'm not going to visit India. I just got to know too much about the stuff that's going on in there.

Then google it, if you honestly want to know. But what I would really recommend is watching documentaries on this topic (there was even a Polish documentary). Seeing and hearing some stuff with your own eyes and ears makes a difference... I once watched a whole documentary about one case - a desperate brother tried to free his sister who was kidnapped to another village, held there against her will and raped everyday by various men from the village. The whole village was in cahoots with the rapists. The police were afraid to go there to free the girl. Her brother was poor, so he had to sell his farm to be able to travel to some big city and contact an NGO that helps people in such situations. In the end the police saved the girl, but only because of the NGO's intervention and because they were being filmed by the crew making the documentary. And, still, they had to negotiate the girl's release with the village's elder and I don't think anyone got arrested. The police had to get out of there fast. Again, probably, only the presence of the cameras saved them. Truly sickening and heartbreaking. I felt both for that girl and her brother.

The shortage of women due to those sex-selective abortions, especially in the rural and poorer regions, is one of the reasons for those rapes and kidnappings. So, ironically, the idiots are doing it to themselves.

Btw, this is this Polish documentary I've watched:

One of the women in that documentary was gang raped by so many men that she barely survived. The rapists were tormenting and blackmailing her father by showing him videos of his daughter being raped and he killed himself. The young woman had to be moved to a secret location for rape victims which was watched by a police officer, so the rapists wouldn't kill her.

There was some positive moment in this horror story though. A Polish plastic surgeon who watched this documentary was so shocked and moved by what happened to her and one teen girl that he decided to fix their vaginas for free in Poland (they were mutilated down there from the multiple rapes and suffered from chronic pain). He said that during his long career he never saw vaginas to be so damaged.

They made a documentary about their stay in Poland too. The teen girl even started smiling after the surgery - you could see the change in her :)

It seems to have alot to do with Islam (again)....it's mostly a muslim Indian problem....Islam is not good for women anyhow, just recently they killed a woman in Iran because her headscarf had not sit "right"....can you believe it!
