Novi, my good man, get on board, it's a great game with great tournaments. I put it up there with American football (a sport I absolutely loved playing)--they are both highly tactical.

Seems like the US is no longer a second-tier soccer nation--we can play with anybody. If we can get a few linebacker-type dudes to play the back line, nobody would want venture into the box. :D

And this goes back to my earlier posts.
USA wants to be part of global sport.
That means football,or as you Yanks call it Soccer.
The number one team sport in the world.
The rest of the world have little interest in NFL(Rugby for wimps), Baseball(Rounders...a girl's game), Hockey(Another girls game)
Basketball is better and has some popularity, but is similar to Netball,another girls game.
USA needs to embrace proper football and from what I have read, it is the fastest growing team sport in the USA.
Given time, I think the USA football team will be one of the best in the world.

A game that is very likely to end up with 0:0 needs to be redesigned.
Scales have to be granular enough to make results more dependent on skills and less on chance. 1:0 or 0:1 is pure luck.

3 for a win 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss.
In the next stage it goes to extra time and penalties.

Scoring is a measure of skills. We don't use miles to measure the long jump.
You know why, genius? Because the results would all be 0. So, instead of miles, we use inches or centimeters. Duh! It's called "resolution".
