GamerroR - | 10 6 May 2009 #64niedostępny = offline. Something wrong with Ur internet connection or wrong server pass? Try register new gg number.
BritPol - | 3 9 May 2009 #65Hi,For an English version of gg you could try alternative client rather than the original gg. Try pidgin for example: pidgin.imIt might not support all of the functionality of the protocol but chatting should work! :)
BritPol - | 3 11 May 2009 #67No need to worry - I'm sure you'll be able to cope :) There's a compiled version for Windows and installable exe to download -> simply download and install as you would do with any other software. From there it's pretty much like any other IM client - and there is plenty of documentation available too.I can't past in the link unfortunately - go to main 'Piding' page and click 'download' -> 'windows' to download the exe.good luck! :)
GamerroR - | 10 21 May 2009 #68Woah myślałem że chcesz edytować to xDI think You want edit Piding to use only gg xDAnd for MaxChin... I forgot, sometimes gg servers die... You can use GG server changer ;)
KellerFS - | 2 22 Jun 2009 #69How can I register gadu gadu? I have pidgin that supports GG format but how do I register for the actual GG number itself? Thanks evryone. No Polish answers please, I only speak english :(
sledz 23 | 2,248 22 Jun 2009 #70Just use the Polish version,,what is it,,5 words you have to learn???Figure it out for yourself or do a seach here on PF...Same old same old GG is a dead fish
SimonAmando - | 1 25 Jun 2009 #71Gadu-Gadu uses its own proprietary protocol. As with ICQ, users are identified by unique serial numbers. Protocol's features include status messages, file sharing, and VoIP. Users may format and embed images in messages. Since client version 6.0, an experimental secure connection[vague] mode can be used. The official client provides over 150 emoticons, allows grouping contacts, sending SMS and integrates with other services ran by the same company: a virtual Internet dial-up, a social networking site MojaGeneracja.pl and an internet radio Open.fm. Because of this, many users consider newer versions bloatware, so the older versions are still common.Gadu-Gadu allows its users to add personal information to a "public directory", available publicly to search. Many unofficial plugins have been created to expand its capabilities.
GamerroR - | 10 9 Jul 2009 #72If someone want/cant register himself, i can register number. If You want, send me e-mail gamerror(a)gmail
Ob1wan - | 19 10 Jul 2009 #73Try Palringo...I use it on my iPhone which allows me to use Gadu Gadu and MSN Messenger. You can add and delete contacts in Gadu Gadu through Palringo. You can also use Palringo on your desktop PC or laptop, just need to register at the Palringo.com website, its free!! Hope that helps?
sausage 19 | 775 23 Jul 2009 #75I suppose you can only send text messages, rather than voice chat with the likes of skype etc?
cjjc 29 | 408 23 Jul 2009 #76Nope, it's really quite advanced. You can use any SIP client as well as Skype. I would love that you can use the phone as a dial up device so you can access data whilst having no GPRS signal.
jump_bunny 5 | 237 23 Jul 2009 #77It's only a theory. I have never managed to have a voice chat on GG even though I tried many times. I will never understand why Poles don't use MSN.
sausage 19 | 775 23 Jul 2009 #78Nope, it's really quite advanced.Must give it a try. i have skype, msn, yahoo messenger, google talk all eating up my resources....What I do like about yahoo messenger is that it tells me the moment I have an email (bt/yahoo).
cjjc 29 | 408 23 Jul 2009 #79Nimbuz lacks a desktop client. You also can't see history. you can try pidgin. If you had a mac then Adium would be perfect for you.:)
sausage 19 | 775 23 Jul 2009 #80Nimbuz lacks a desktop client.Yes, I just read that, but thanks anyway.If you had a macone day!
Spice_Boy - | 7 30 Jul 2009 #81I use Pidgin on Linux, but before all you windows users cry, it's also on windows.pidgin.im/It does all the major protocols, and has the benefit of not having to put up with those flash ads that gg has.
chinczyk - | 32 18 Aug 2009 #83Aug 19, 09, 00:50 - Thread attached on merging:Is there an English version of Gadu Gadu?Hi,I want to download GG and get a GG account, however,All there is polish and I don't know where to start with,is there an English version of that,or more preferably,a Chinese version? Thanks in advance!
michaltk 18 Aug 2009 #84U can use any jabber client e.g. Psi – which has Chinese language support. Just Google that…
Piorun - | 658 18 Aug 2009 #85Gadu-Gadu 6.0 build 141 wersja angielska (emoty.com.pl/download,gadu-gadu,instalki.htm), but I think It's just a hack that works by exchanging the exe file, you'll still have to download and install Polish version of GG with the same build number. Another alternative you have is to use the English version on the web, WebGadu without installation: web.gadu-gadu.pl/, or just register through that page and use Jabber or any number of similar clients.
klakak 4 | 32 18 Aug 2009 #86I have something called Kadu-Kadu. But I don't remember if I downloaded it because I have a mac, or because I couldn't find an english Gadu-Gadu, but you might check out Kadu-Kadu and see if that works out for you :)
chinczyk - | 32 19 Aug 2009 #87Thanks again for all your advice, really helpful,I am gonna check it out and take a shot at it;)
tilos - | 1 20 Sep 2009 #88I have a polish friend using tlen messenger, but i can't talk with him because I don't have tlen account and it's not suitable with msn, yahoo etc. and it is all in polish, also gg. RubasznyRumcajs 5 | 498 6 Mar 2010 #90/me will always wonder why people insist on using that buggy bloated software and that crappy protocol :/
