AFD politicians, including Markus Frohnmaier (who's wife is a RuSSian journalist, btw) went to RuSSia to take part in St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). For the first time in a few years also representatives of German business officially participate:

"Frohnmaier, who has courted close ties with figures close to US President Donald Trump and his Maga movement, is the most senior AfD lawmaker to have made a publicised visit to Russia in recent years. He was accompanied on his visit to St Petersburg by three other elected AfD officials."

Representatives of 1,600 German companies traveled to St. Petersburg. It's clear that the German economy is eagerly awaiting improved relations with Russia.

This should not be happening.

Interesting that the appalling Robert Bąkiewicz has been arrested in Berlin.

Not excactly interesting or sunshine for the German public, it will be tried to be kept under the rug and German journalists don't understand it.

German journalists don't understand it.

Apparently he organised some sort of parade in the capital and hadn't applied for permission.

@jon357
He is on the fringe and has been part of anti-governmental parades and being anti-governmental in Poland. So of course he wouldn't abide by it and try to make a spectacle of it. German police not having experience with him enough clearly took the bait and now is being used by him in the media...

Yes. He's an attention seeker and most people would sympathise with the Berlin police here.

He knows the rules about organising events in public and they are much the same in Warsaw as in Berlin.

Poland and Germany sign defence cooperation agreement

THAT!

Poland and Germany have signed a bilateral security agreement that will see the two neighbours and NATO allies increase cooperation in areas such as military mobility, logistics infrastructure, maritime security in the Baltic Sea, and cybersecurity....

His German counterpart, Boris Pistorius, said that the agreement would see their two countries stand "shoulder to shoulder, as equals".....

It will be useful for defense against a Mongol horde...as has happened before in history. I recall the Battle of Legnica...unfortunately, a lost battle.

Crikey, you must be older than we thought.

unfortunately, a lost battle.

You win some, you lose some. And some countries do tend to lose them.

Poland is on the respectable 7th place in the world in the won battles (see below). And we had to fight the Ottomans, Germans, Russians or Swedes whilst the UK/England has artificially buffed up their statistics winning countless battles against poor little c*unts like Zanzibar, Brunei, Nepal, Johor, Perak, Aceh, Bhutan or Burma.
