That is why 80% Poles like the EU.

I fully get that. But this will change.

Poland will never lose sticking to the EU.

Who is being silly and naive here?
When Poland is wealthy enough,or even before, The EU will expect Poland to be a net contributor to help the poorer nations.
That day is not too far away.

You are just a leftard loser with no self confidence in your own country.
I believe in Poland and think it can thrive as a free independent country. Free from the shackles imposed by Brussels.

Why do you parrot the Kremlin propaganda? :):) Do they pay you for this bs?

Free from the shackles imposed by Brussels.

Putin says the same thing. And rightards all over Europe are his best fans.

The EU will expect Poland to be a net contributor to help the poorer nations

I would think Poland would love to be in a position to help poorer countries.... it's only skinflint Brits that hate that idea....

Free from the shackles imposed by Brussels

That's a British talking point that only finds tractions among the fringe crazies in Poland.... Poland =/= UK, the two countries have completely different histories and relationships with the idea of 'Europe' stop trying to impose British ideas (which do make some sense for Britons) upon Poland...

stop trying to impose British ideas upon Poland...

Exactly. I also pointed it to him. I was really surprised he tried to plant such crazy analogies here. I think he might be tired after a too long weekend.

such crazy analogies

In my experience, of all the europeans I've seen in Poland.... Brits have the hardest time adapting and accepting that there are different norms of behavior brought about by differing histories...

PiS rightards put up posters claiming that

Independent media revealed the figures - PiS forced state-controlled energy companies to pay 12 million for the posters and online ads. Daylight robbery. . What fekking thieves those PIS rightards are! Tfu!!!

brazen lying insn`t good.

Everyone is lying, it is called propaganda. We had more than enough pro-EU lies. Some anti-EU propaganda is needed.

next government will lie in the same fashion but with reversed direction.

It will given half a chance. What of it?
OP pawian 224 | 24,455

Everyone is lying, it is called propaganda

Not exactly. Propaganda can take different forms, while outright lying is always outright lying.

anti-EU propaganda

Lies, not propaganda.

It will given half a chance

Can you formulate it in a different way?

Why do you parrot the Kremlin propaganda?

Why do you call this Kremlin propaganda when it is just common sense?
What is your socialist agenda?

it's only skinflint Brits that hate that idea

We Brits are hardly skinflints.....do better research.....

quote=mafketis]Brits have the hardest time adapting[/quote]
This may or may not be true.
But please post something that proves your poinr.
Otherwise it is just your biased opinion.
OP pawian 224 | 24,455

Why do you call this Kremlin propaganda were it is just common sense?

Coz the Kremlin has always dreamt of breaking the EU up into seperate pieces to play them more easily. It was true also in Soviet Union times.
Miloslaw 19 | 4,971

Coz the Kremlin has always dreamt of breaking the EU up

This is true.
But it does not mean that countries cannot flourish independently outside of Brussels corrupt control.

Brussels corrupt control

You are getting carried away. Brussels` isn`t corrupt control .If anybody`s is, it is the Kremlin`s.

while outright lying is always outright lying.

Look Tusk lies, Biedroń lies, Morawiecki lies. They talk slogans and that is propaganda.

Lies, not propaganda.

What lies? That EU regulations and green policy rise cost of electric power? That is not a lie.

Can you formulate it in a different way?

They will lie, there is no doubt about it. IF they'll rule in Poland they'll lie.

Coz the Kremlin has always dreamt of breaking the EU

Who told you that? lol!
Kremlin wants EU but without NATO and with Germany in charge - to make nice deals.
OP pawian 224 | 24,455
16 Feb 2022 #914
That is not a lie.

It is a lie when they say 60% while in fact it is 23%. Ha!

Look Tusk lies, Biedroń lies, Morawiecki lies

Yet, there is a substantial difference. PiS rightards lie more often, more brazenly, more aggressively - they claim it is day while in fact it is night.

Kremlin wants EU

No, they want divided Europe with seperate states.

PiS are furious coz the EU has ruled that withholding funds to member states which break democratic principles is legal. Thus, Polish and Hungarian governments can expect that European subsidies will be suspended until both countries put an end to their constant destruction of the rule of law.

Curious if rightards will back down or keep their stance.

Can you imagine that Poland didn`t get the recovery funds from the EU yet because PiS gov is still abusing the rule of law? Amasing!

The EU is determined to teach PiS a lesson. Either they stick to European values or they can kiss goodbye to money which will be granted to Poland after the elections.

@pawian, what are the European values, are they written down somewhere?
Anthonylas28
17 Jul 2022 #918
Didn't realise this existed. So this is effectively the cornerstone of the EU, this charter of fundamental rights, 22 pages, signed off by three people and you can't even read their names. This supersedes the New Testament in your opinion?
OP pawian 224 | 24,455
17 Jul 2022 #919
No. It overlaps nicely with the New Testament. E.g,, Jesus taught us we need to love our neighbour as much as we love God. While the EU teaches us to accept our neighbours despite their preferences which are different from others`. E,.g, LGBT.

The EU was founded on Christian principles, after all.

Oh wow, that is quite a stretch to interpret that teaching in that way! I don't think Protestantism will survive that horrific error.

''Article 13
Freedom of the arts and sciences
The arts and scientific research shall be free of constraint. Academic freedom shall be respected.''

This sounds like the entertainment industry and big pharma dreamland. So terrifyingly vague, open to infinite interpretation.

ectively the cornerstone of the EU

22 pages, signed off by three people and you can't even read their names.

Basically the Charter of Fundamental Rights is a single document created in 2000 which combined all the existing European rights into a single place, if you get my drift. So it wasn't created by three people :)) The Charter was drafted by MEPs, members of the national parliaments of the EU representatives from EU member state governments and a representative of the European Commission with observers from other EU institutions.

It contains all of the rights which were set down in 1950 by the Council of Europe in the European Convention of Human Rights. It also contains everything that was previously set out in :

The EU Treaties
Case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union
National constitutions of each member state

I wrote CBOS which Dirk called neutral while in fact it is a pro PiS polling institute. Wyborcza paper only published an article about the poll results.

I suppose you are furious. Your nationalist dreams of Poland leaving the EU have been ruined. All your hard work for nothing. Sad. :):):):)

New York Times polls

Funny, but completely missed in our case. :):)
