Deporting its workers? This is not an extradictable issue if we are talking about scale. It's politicians, yet again, giving themselves a job where their beaks should stay out. Really, who is stupid enough to pay such fools?

Erm and who's fault is it?

Its a "fault " that the west pays decent benefits to its unemployed is it? Or that Poland dumps its unemployed on the west because Poland pays naff all unemployment benefit?

Come on,get real........why should the west lower its standards just so the east doesnt feel left out? Shouldnt the east raise its standards to the wests?

Deporting its workers?

The point here being its not " workers" but "shirkers" it wants to deport.......simples :)

Don't worry they were dumping unempolyed long time before EU accesion. As far as I know they had to work in Holland before they can claim benefits so everything is fine they paid for their benefits. Simple.

I agree, it is political manipulation through the media.

Since this is related to the Dutch fella wanting to deport people on social welfare.
Let me ask this, how much is wasted on non-nationals claiming the social welfare and how much is wasted on bank bailouts?

This "blame the immigrant" scapegoating is a well know propaganda tool used by the far right.
I wish that some political group would, just once, put the blame where it is squarely marked, on the bankers.

The bankers that have driven the world into economic crises and recession are nothing short of traitors, in stark contrast to most emigrants having worked their butts off in their new homes, oiling the machine of the country.

You've hit the nail on the head, SeanBM :) We should realise the good that immigrants have done. They have avoided the pawning lifestyle of many a Brit (not that those Brits have much of a choice). The bankers will always avoid the limelight but recoup their unwarranted dividends in discreet ways.
