Here's Braun's full entry to the condolence book...

"God bless the Iranian nation!
I hereby offer my sincere condolences for the tragic death of your leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Despite all significant differences, our countries are united by many universal principles which, in international relations, forbid the use of aggression and murder as tools for resolving disputes.
The shameful, cowardly and treacherous murder of your leader together with his closest family constitutes not only an act of vile violation of these principles, but is also a manifestation of civilizational decline and the personal brutality of those who committed such an act.
The independence of states, sovereignty, and the security of free nations should be dear to everyone - including us, the Polish people.
And in this spirit I raise the slogan: Tehran-Warsaw - a common cause!
*it rhymes in Polish - Teheran-Warszawa - wspólna sprawa!*With expressions of deep sympathy,
Grzegorz Braun
Polish Member of the European Parliament.
