There is no reason to be proud of being a homosexual. In the same way I'm not going flaunt my heterosexuality and expect to be elected because of it. That would be dumb.
In the some way it is not about pride of being homosexual, but about acceptance, and not acceptance of the person who is outside sexual norms, but for acceptance of all kind of outside the norm behaviours.

The issue is Trumps attacking of Iran during negotiations. He killed the head of the IRGC by tricking him into "negotions" during his first term. He also tore up the deal Obama had made wherein US had 24/7 monitoring of Irans Nuclear facilities and random inspections of their enrichment program. This was stupid.

Fast forward to the second term. Last June, Trump decided to Bomb Iran's nuclear facilities with Israel, again whilst in the midst of negotiations. This is the important part many are missing. Because US bombed Iran along with Israel, Israel was then able to force trumps hand in March by telling him they were going to attack. The state department assumed, I think correctly, that Iran would retaliate against US assets in the region. Of course they would assume we were apart of it, trump had done so last just last June.

Let us also not forget that these strikes occurred on a Saturday morning as Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff had just left negotions the night before. A key point here: according to the Omani delegate the talks were making significant progress. Word is Iran was willing to give Trump an even better deal than Obama's.

Thusly, Israel, along with Trump's son in law and other surrounding sycophants were able to gradually force trumps hand into a trap of escalation with the long shot gamble that "decapitation" strikes targeting the Ayatollah and the rest of Iran's top leadership would result in regime change. This had very little if any real chance of success, as could have been predicted by pretty much anyone with any knowledge of the region. The cost of this failed gamble is an Iranian stranglehold on 20% of the worlds oil, natural gasses, and urea for fertilizer. Helium is needed for semiconductor production, which is one of the reasons South Koreas stock market tanked basically as soon as the bombings occurred. You can easily imagine how the consequences of this situation can and will reverberate globally and make life worse for nearly everyone on the planet, as the rising price of fuel makes everything more expensive for everyone. The only beneficiaries really are the Iranian Regime, and oil company stakeholders. Every other country now has to deal with the ramifications of this awful gamble.

It's also a problem that the US cannot solve. That's why you're seeing very little action being taken. They don't know what the fu*ck to do. You may say that Americans will be better off, but not before a ton of pain is inflicted on its citizens, and even after this, who knows? Even more so for Europe and many southeast Asian countries who are dependent on these necessities. Many countries in the global south may experience famine as a result of this, and food shortages may even hit the west. I would hope Israelis themselves will come to regret this, but that is very doubtful.
