Poland, still corrupt, but not as bad as Czech/Hungary & Italy

If you join them and loudly and publicly agree with whatever the Dear Leader Chairman Kaczyński says, they'll make sure that you don't have to worry.

Are you telling us about the deal you made with them? Slandering them on the Internet behind their backs would render that agreement null and void.

PiS aren't riddled

There's Piotrowicz but somehow no-one can come up with the allegedłly "countless" (Delph's hyperbole) PZPR and SB types in PiS' ranks. Starting with Porozumienie Centrum on through PiS, those parties have had few if any ex-commies in their ranks.

I guess you're okay

I never even came close to making the kind of money diplomats make. If you're on to some secret on how a non-citizen can land such a job, please share it. In all seriosuness though, I can see you are honing your baiting skills in the absence of your guru and PF's super-troll.

Prosecuted dissidents

Just proivng the point: the toxic opposition have absolutely nothing to offer the Polish nation so all's that's left fdo them is to rant, chant. nitpick and mud-sling to their hearts' delight. But the caravan just moves on, filling them with even more impotent fury.

For instance, this is a fine piece of journalism by a newspaper directly controlled by PiS.

Tymczasem w IPN znajdują się dokumenty świadczące o tym, że Kazimierz Ziobro był członkiem Polskiej Zjednoczonej Partii Robotniczej.

(Tymczasem - meanwhile?) in the IPN, documents have been found confirming that Kazimierz Ziobro was a member of the Polish United Workers Party.

PZPR to the bone.

there is no newspaper in Poland that is directly controlled by PiS - there are PiS friendly media yes (and they are a minority)- but they are sometimes critical of PiS depending on their stances

Kazimierz Ziobro

But not long ago you were saying there's no collective guilt. Michnik should therefore be called a scumbag on the basis of his own anti-Polish activities not because old man Schechter was Stalin's stooge in Soviet-occupied Western Ukraine and his unwed mum was a Sovietiser trying to brainwash innocent Polish school children.

in the IPN, documents have been found

I thought you were opposed to "grzebanie sw życiorysach" (Michnik's term), rummaging about in people's biographies. And you probably agree with PO that IPN should be liquidated. So why are you invoking the findings of an institution whose credibilitiy you question?

We all know why. IT'S YET ANOTEHR CHANCE TO BASH PiS. That's the ultimate purpose of life, innit?!

I'm afraid of those criminal libel laws

Stating someone had once belonged to the PZPR if it is true is not grounds for a libel suit. And suggesting that some Polish poor-man's chat forum like PF is closely followed by all and sundry is laaughable. People who cannot back up their claims often try to pull such a fast one. Like the judge that squealed to Brussels that judges in Poland were having their tyres slashed and brake cables cut but was unwilling to name the repair garage that had fixed the damage.
