Im glad I don't drink coffee. I wouldn't over pay just to be seen with a starbucks cup as well. Doesn't a cup cost around $10?

I think its a bad business decision to insert themselves into politics, it could backfire on them.

They should team up with the NFL lol

Watch out, they might pitch a tent in front of your doorway.

Well the normal one is like 3 4 but the specialty ones go up to like 7. Add tax and a dollar or tip so ya youre at 10.

I usually grind my own and brew with a French press or Turkish style. If I need another one by noon though I usually go to McD's sbux or dunkin whichever is closest

I dont think a tent full of liberals could do anything more to make the place look more decrepit....

It would be funny to start filetting a nice fat smelly carp right in yuppieville on a coffee table. I might just do that this week and post it on YouTube = )

I knew sbux would fall the day of the training and days after. Liberals may like stupid closings for a day of training, but the market doesnt take kindly to needlessly lost revenue. Oh well **** em easy $700 off thousand shares

It would have been a lot easier just to change their name to "White's Coffee Shop" after Benjamin White.

Dirk - a genuine question, not trolling, How are you able to short shares in such small quantities ? Last week you also talked about shorting Deutsche (and fair play if you did that you would have made a few bucks).

In Europe that is almost impossible unless you have serious liquidity (millions not thousands) and even then the costs are very high, with extra fees to the broker. I don't know why the US would be any different, unless you were able to trade on your margin account ?

You like that one don't ya ; ) and that b1tch is still tanking

And yes I have an e trade margin account. My trades vary from 20 to 50k with most being 250k. I stick to stocks (I prefer short selling personally), commodities and more recently crypto. I sold all my btc but I still have eth. I don't mess with forex till I learn more about it. I am a silent partner in a retail currency exchange in poland though.

I changed my opinion about SB restroom policy. It happened when I realized I needed one quickly. Starbucks was right there so I walked in. No bums. Everything clean. And I didn't have to buy anything. At 8 pm it was too late to buy coffee, anyway.

McD has had the open doors policy forever. No drama.

150 Starbucks to close. How many more to go? There isn't much profit to be had in homeless shelters it seems.

In spite of that strong SB coffee, people are waking up to realize that there is better coffee for less next door.

So far, I didn't notice any homeless when I went there to use the restroom - just as the SB CEO said I could.

Public libraries are another matter. They, the homeless, are there but they behave just fine. Once, I was looking for coins to drop into the parking meter. I couldn't find any. A homeless guys walks up and offers me a couple of quarters. That was a humbling experience and a reminder that always adding bum to homeless may sometimes be just plain wrong.
