Poles don`t like any kind of occupation and humiliation. Take note of that and just looks how will things develop.

Especially when Poles knows that some wants to put them in confrontation with Hungarians and Serbs.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Płock has apologised for the behaviour of one of its priests, who pressed a pupil against a desk and allegedly twisted his arm during a religion lesson at a school for children with special needs. Video of the incident sparked outrage after it was obtained by a media outlet.

The school has suspended the priest while an investigation takes place.

The staff in one of Biedronka chain supermarkets called the police after they found out that a kid had eaten a bun which cost 33 Polish grosz - about 8 cents and the mother didn`t pay for it.

tvn24.pl/krakow/rzeszow-dziecko-zjadlo-bulke-za-33-grosze-obsluga-sklepu-wezwala-policje-6616467

- I went to Biedronka with my children (...). The children were very polite. At the bakery department, they took one roll each, I didn't even notice how they started to eat them. At the register, one roll was missing and I forgot to tell the cashier about it. In a normal store, if anyone had seen it, they would have told me. I wouldn't steal a bun. - reports Mrs. Justyna, mother of three children in "Gazeta Wyborcza".

When Ms. Justyna was packing the shopping into the car, two men approached her, asking about the number of purchased rolls and the receipt. Then I found out I didn't pay for one. Did they want me to go to the register to pay for it? No. They informed me that they had to listen to the manager and that I should follow them. And I was stupid. The manager stated that he must obey his superiors and must call the police for stealing a bun. The police came after 10 minutes with flashlights on - reports Mrs. Justyna. "It was a very stressful situation for the children," she adds.

started to eat them.

In Germany it would be a mouth robbery. Not necessarily punishable.

I think you meant "pilfering" (Mundraub), Alien.
Watch for translating literally.
Alien 20 | 4,965

After google it, I think that pilfering is a little bit more than only a simple " mundraub".
Lyzko 45 | 9,417

"Mouth robbery" though is NOT English!
You simply translated from the German, admit it.
There's nothing to be ashamed of.

I've often done the same in Polish:-)

Of curse I did it.😁

The error must be intentional:-)

A huge scandal with the police in PiS controlled Poland.

It looks like police officers were too randy. They ordered two teenage girls into the police car and probably intended to drive to a secluded place but they had an accident. One of the girls commented: I am glad we had that accident coz I don`t know what they were going to do to us.

PiS scum media described a case of a molestation, revealing the critical info about the victim who was a son of a parliament opposition member. He commited suicide a few days ago.

Tfu! Rightist svoloche. They are ready to commit any vileness.

poland.postsen.com/news/amp/203009

The MP from the Civic Coalition pointed out that "it was the public media that made the personal data of the injured boy public." - They and PiS politicians raised this topic at press conferences for political purposes. This is immoral behavior and has resulted in a great tragedy, she added.

That lowlife journalist which revealed the victim`s identity works in Szczecin Radio and is called Tomasz Duklanowski. What a svoloch. And a stupid man, too - does he really believe that PiS will rule for ever? Where is he going to get a job when they lose the elections? He has already become a moral outlaw - in old Poland they were called infamis.

Tfu!!!

That lowlife journalist which revealed the victim`s identity

Hopefully he will be prosecuted, since what he did is "jigsaw identification."

jail time.

In the UK (where lifelong anonymity covers not only victims of sexual crimes but also people who have falsely alleged that they are victims of sexual crimes or who have been reported to the police as potential victims by others, unless they waive their anonymity or a judge waives it) it's a 5,000 fine. Considerably more if it a media outlet does it. One trashy tabloid was fined a small fortune for showing a silhouette.

This also includes "jigsaw identification" which is where enough details are given for the public to make a reasonable guess at a persons identity. It looks like this is the cae here.

In the UK

Unfortunately, we are living in PiS Poland. It is going to take a long time until we develop the UK standards.

Which wasn`t a mistake but intentional.

Tomasz Duklanowski

Saw this story on this nasty piece of work....

oko.press/tomasz-duklanowski-kim-jest-ten-czlowiek

takeaways: He's gone too far before but then goes all religious to try to get out of it....

money quote: "Mówił, że modli się, by mniej nienawidzić opozycji. Bo wie, że nienawiść to grzech" (He said he prays to hate the opposition less, because he knows that hate is a sin)

scandal: Two years ago he received "Krzyż Kawalerski Orderu Odrodzenia Polski" (Knight's Cross of the Order of Restored Poland, the second highest order awarded in Poland.

This must be revoked!

The guy worked for many papers and was regularly fired for incompetence. Finally, they have kept him in the rightist media but only on condition he acts as a hyena. He accepted coz he had no choice.

When I'm on the Island, I always listen to the Szczecin Radio, just because it's Polish radio.

In the cemetery of the parish of St. Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Mińsk Mazowiecki, a new gate was installed. It shows two skulls, under which there are crossed bones and the inscription "Memento mori". The inhabitants of the city do not like the fence in this form. As they point out, the gate evokes negative associations. They intervened with the city authorities.

Many people associate the new gate with bans on entry to dangerous places, extermination camps, pirates or signs on the packaging of poisonous substances .

Comment: it is amassing people frown at such trifles when there is a war nearby.

signs on the packaging of poisonous substances .

It is a bit like that.

I like the new gates though, and a memento mori is appropriate.

At least it isn't a totentanz.

It's simply - low quality art.

A cloaked skeleton with a harvesting tool would invoke the impression of death instead of deadly better. Simply wrong communication in my opinion (with regard to symbolism)

A cloaked skeleton with a harvesting tool

A skeleton with a cloak and scythe is even more theatrical.

This is at least fairly discreet and will rust/fade with time.

@jon357
Theatrical would be if there were multiple statues of it in a row after going through the gate.

I was thinking about best way to communicate memento mori

and a memento mori is appropriate.

Exactly. This wise saying tends to be forgotten or ignored nowadays.

Another scandal which was so shocking I was reluctant to write about it at first.
