PIS councillor wants to censor Poland's history book

next general election

We've heard that fairy tale before. Ahead of the 2005 and 2015 presidential/general elections. And now again -- all the losers have are wannabe illusions. There's a good chance the self-destructive PO by 2019 may well go the way of Petru's N-word.

PiSlamic State will fall

But you forgot, Pislamic Harry, that the Platerformer scam state has already fallen. It is highly unlikely ever to rise again after what tjhes put the nation through. BTW In Wrocław PO reps are transferring to Petru's N-word.

Trying to revise historical narratives is something that party are known for - this is very significant right now.

. Ahead of the 2005 and 2015 presidential/general elections

After 2005, they were voted out at the earliest opportunity, as well you know, and after 2015 the same scenario looks likely.

Interestingly, towards the end of their last brief term, their functionaries started to behave bizarrely (remember their minister who wanted to ban Teletubbies?), like the councillor in Bialystok is doing now. History repeats.

History repeats.

Yes, and that includes the PO defeats of 2005 and 2015. Expect a rerun in 2019 and 2020. It took Poles a bit to see through the PO's slick, high-sounding propaganda but ultiamtely the cat got let out of the bag and they will be bamboozled by the status-quo RT clique no more.

That comment, Po, is every bit as nonsensical as the PiS attempt to rewrite history. And every bit as transparent.

OK, I can humour you if you wanat. PO scored a major election victory in both the 2005 and 2015 prisidential and general elections.Happy?

He had one in 2005 and 2015 but it was a second-hand one which didn't do too well in the forutne-telling department!

Going a bit off-topic, Po, as usual. Though since you mention it, the ill-fated 2005 PiS junta didn't last very long, did it...

Nor will this one.

Here's another article about Chojnacki and his attempt to rewrite history: plus.poranny.pl/wiadomosci/a/radny-pis-marek-chojnowski-mam-dosc-polacy-nigdy-nie-byli-antysemitami

As usual, the more PiS people huff and puff, the less anyone believes them.

I think I'd prefer to stick to the topic of this thread thanks.

That would be a first for you. But oh, that's right, you started this anti-Polish hit piece thread. Steering threads off topic is your forte only when you are not the OP and you want to censor the topic.

Truth be told though you could never afford the legal bills, fines, and compensation that would ensue if you went ahead and defamed a member of the public. You simply can't put your money where you mouth is even though posting your opinions online is free (but obviously not risk free in the real world and you know it).

"Poles have never been anti-semitic".

This is true.

There are many accounts though through history of Poles coming to the aid of Jews (which you never acknowledge) but not the other way around.

Additionally, you and your cohorts have always said that Jews are Poles and vice versa and even proffered (without evidence) that many Poles aren't even aware of their Jewishness.

Furthermore, if you take your queer cohort's stance that all humans are equal then it would be impossible to be anti-anything. Being against an equal (which means everybody) would be to be against oneself, wouldn't it?

But we'll take it that you lot only preach equality for others to adhere to while tirelessly defending the social construct of Semitism which in your head is to be given an exclusive position in society for others to respect, adore, pay compensation to, and never, ever question.

Going a bit off-topic

You always say that when lost for an answer. Next time scroll back and see who it was who brought up a given off-topic. I was merely politely replying.

Still waiting for you to explain (away) PO's humiliating 2015 general-election defeat, preceded by the presidential incumbant's rejection by Polish voters.

Poor Bieggers, yet again reality is not what he wants it to be, so he posts about fantasy. The reality is that the first post in this thread contains the following words

of course some Poles risked or even gave their lives to protect Jews

queer

After plain old ad hom off topic trolling, now we see a homophobic slur used as ad hom off topic trolling, all of which begs the question of why some people are so desperate for posters not to discuss the topic of this thread, i.e. the attempts of this PIS councillor to censor a history book.

councillor to censor a history book

Minor local incidents in remote corners of the country are good for PiSlamic nitpickers but of little interest to normal people. And some PO councillor in Jelenia Góra is cheating on his wife with a young waitress. And a wójt (village mayor) in the Ełk area of Masuria is using an official car for private fishing trips and family outings. So what? Who cares?

Just going off-topic to try to distract from the latest PiS scandal. This time in their heartland, Bialystok, yet opposed by the residents of the city.

All adds up, Po, since the outrages occur time and time again and as we have seen, have chipped away at PiS support.

of course some Poles risked or even gave their lives to protect Jews

For you it is a begrudgingly made admission and unsurprisingly was merely a glossed over footnote in the revisionist history of your latest anti-Polish diatribe. You only threw it in there anyway to deflect any criticism of this anti-Polish hit piece of yours. And as I correctly pointed out it has never been the other way around. But then again the entitled (read the NYT article I linked regarding entitlement and the purveyors of victimhood culture) always have an expectation of being helped but never helping in return. Even over 2000 years ago Rabbi Jesus told the world of this attitude of your kind in the tale of the good Samaritan.

homophobic slur

Queer is not a homophobic slur. There are even organizations with the word in their name. Why don't you go look them up and write complaint letters to them about it and then post them here so we know your commitment to your self-rigteousness. You can then post their dismissive and lecturing reply letters to you. You can then use them to wipe the egg off your face.

Not even TVPiS would claim that the murder of 88 men, women and children was a minor local incident, so why do you dare to try to do it?

Just going off-topic to try to distract from the latest PiS scandal.

Sadly the question is not why they are allowed to do that.

the murder of 88

How many violent incidents involvivng as many or mroe victimshave occurred across Europe since 1906. This should be in the history section. Who committed the atrocity? PiSlamic has phrased it to appear that they were anti-Semitic ethnic Poles. But Białystok back then was far from being a pure Polish city. Aside from the main culprits, tsarist troops and police, the townsfolk included Belarusians, Lithuanians, Karaims, Tartars and Jews. Without more thorough investigation one cannot rule out that some Jews were also amongst the auxiliary victimisers. After all, many were snitches for the tsarist okhrana (SB). But thorough investigation is not PiSlamic's cuppa tea. He prefers sweeping statements that incriminate ethnic Poles. Although he isn't worth the effort, but for lack of anything better to do while killing time in a waiting-room, one could scroll back and see which side of the barricade PiSlamic has been on over the years in any Polish-Other row, dispute or controversy . Take a guess?

homophobic slur

Some people have rightly rejected the skewed PC tendency to distort, redefine or ban certain words, but queer simply means odd or weird. You can call your homo friends happies, jollies or use some other idiotic term (although that does not change the fact that those are the saddest, most pitiful cretaures to walk God's good earth), but don't expect everybody to buy into your PC fantasy.

latest PiS scandal

Still waiting for you to explain (away) PO's humiliating* 2015 general-election defeat, preceded by the presidential incumbent's rejection by Polish voters. Why is that majority rejection persisting despite some one-off, margin-of-error fluke not long ago? Let's see if lower-case can reply or will he continue to focus on some obscure local incident in the boonies of Białystok.

*Never in Polish history has any party other than PiS won a general election outright, enabling them to rule without coalition partners.

Teletubbies

That TV show looked a lot like the story of "the cute little penguin who had two daddies" -- an insiduous ploy by homo-propagandists to start their perverse brainwashing of innocent children at a tender young age.

a homophobic slur

Wow! A homophobic slur! Outrageous! A capital crime! Sound the alarm! Call in MI-5 and the FBI, the Supreme court and Fire Brigade, put the military on high alert! As always vigilant PiSlamic has tracked down a homophonic slur! He deserves a Nobel Prize or at least the Homophobe-Basher's Medal of Merit! For he's a jolly good fellow.....

Oh dear, I see your knowledge of history is as bad as that of the PIS councillor who wants to censor that history book. Or perhaps you would like the election results from 2007 and 2011 to be censored just as the PIS councillor who wants Poland's history to be censored? It must be a source of shame for you that in both 2007 and 2011 PIS suffered heavier defeats, with PO winning 41.5% and 39.18% of the votes, which is more than the 37.58% managed last time by the Party of First Secretary Kaczynski and the councillor who wants to censor that history book.

Let's see if lower-case can reply or will he continue to focus on some obscure local incident in the boonies of Białystok.

It's quite sickening how you refer to the murder by their fellow townsmen of 88 men, women and children within living memory to be "some obscure local incident". Of course it's no surprise that you show the arrogance and ignorance to claim that an event which took place in and around the main square of Bialystok to have been "in the boonies". And it's equally unsurprising that you ask whether another poster will post about the topic of this thread or follow your off-topic ad hom trolling.

Looks like you've never watched one or read the other.

Either it looks like the mods haven't read this thread and so haven't seen the amount of ad hom off-topic trolling (including homophobic abuse) that is being posts here or they care as little about such content being posted (by the right people of course) as the PIS councillor who wants to censor that history book cares about the accuracy of history books.

your knowledge of history

This was not about anyone's knowledge of world or even Polish history, but a simple request to explain the most humuliating election defeat in Polish history: that of 2015. Not 2011, or 1984 or what might be in 2049, but Otcober 2015. That was the first time ever Polish voters were so fed up with the PO scamster regime that they gave their opponents an outright victory? So we're still still waiting for an explanation fromn you or one of your....er, um, I mean your one disciple.
OP Harry

That statement is so ignorant about Polish history that not even the PIS councillor who wants to censor that history book would make it. PIS's stunning victory saw them get less than the share of the vote received by PO in 2007 and 2011, i.e. it was an outright victory in the same way that the 1906 Bialystok pogrom which the PIS councillor wants to airbrush from history was a triumph of peace.

Given your expert knowledge of the PiSlamic State perhaps you can advise us if the plan of First Secretary of the Party Kaczynski is to first have history from 111 years ago edited in the way his minion wants to happen with the 1906 Bialystok pogrom and then move onto more recent history (such as PIS's attempts to remove Lech Walesa from the history of Solidarnosc) and then to turn its attention to re-writing the election results to remove such amusing results as the Party of First Secretary Kaczynski getting 9% of the vote in 2003?

PIS councillor

That councillor must really be a VIP, a major authority, celebrity or guru since you have seen fit to devote so much time and energy to his person and activities.. I don't even know his name. He wrote some book about esperanto or something, but for me he's a nobody. But a busybody like (.......) must pick nits and isn't happy unless he does.

I don't even know his name.

Interesting that such complete ignorance of the topic hasn't stopped you from posting so many times on the pages of this thread. But I suppose that ignorance is the hallmark of the PiSlamic State, as is shown by the ignorance of their jobs displayed by so many of the PiSlamic State's political appointees to posts with state-controlled companies which has laughable results such as the cancellation of Poland's longest running song festival.

And of course the PiSlamic State and the Party of First Secretary Kaczynski both very much support ignorance being expanded, which is why they want to censor history and make people ignorant of what actually happened in the past, such as the 1906 Bialystok pogrom that they want to see airbrushed from history.

your expert knowledge of the PiSlamic State

Your wrong. I only know one PiSlamic poster on PF and a few wannabes (one currently suspended) who for some unknown reason regard him as their guru.

You still haven't answered the simple question: what was so revolting and disgusting about PO's 8 years of misrule that prompted the Polish electorate to give their opponents and outright victory? Even PO had to tack on the PSL hayseeds to get a majority. And why was Komoroswski rejected after 5 years in office? Was it his WSI connections or the fact that he had been a SB snitch codenamed Liwin? One can't formulate a question any simpler than that.

shown by the ignorance

There are different ways of displaying ignorance. For instance living in a country for 22 years and being too stupid or lazy (or both) to learn the lingo.

This is the chilling thing, a massacre of Poles is trivialised, and in the case of the outspoken PiS councillor, encouraged to be dumped from the history books.
