you continue in the same tradition as Isaac Newton and Albert Einstein.

You are not cute, I only claim my intelligence to be above the Golden Moron.

Oh, be quiet, Dirk's shoe was smarter than you.

Yep, those were the shoes that carried him through his Ivy League education so they must have heard some pretty awesome lectures

Israel is trying to stay alive, while paying

Ok, that is your logic for supporting Israel killing civilians, lame but still there is some sinister logic behing it. Pass.

Now, can you explain why would you support aggression against a country, kill civilians and destroy property in defence of some Muslims?
You literary kill Muslims and you claim it is in defence of some legendary 'other' Muslims.
Explain that.
You mean to say the the US and Israeli have monopoly on killing Muslims?

You seemed to support CMS Neuf just fine when the subject of discussion was Russia.

Now when he's stepping on your Trumpist toes - he becomes the "Golden Moron".

In Russia we would say - you changed your shoes mid-flight.

Being so flexible and athletic is not always a good thing - would you agree?

I like CMS, because he is consistent. He gave me a hard time for the invasion of Ukraine, and he's giving you a hard time for the warrantless attack on Iran.

To me - that's not a moron's behavior. We can disagree, but I respect his consistency.

You - when it suits you - put on the Sarmatian dress of a Polish patriot and spout about justice and honor. Then, when it doesn't suit you - adopt some kinda opposite Don Corleone approach. That's annoying.

Maybe you want to be defended by a lawyer, who doesn't read the law, but has..

Your sarcasm is missing the intended target by a mile. But I will answer your snarky remark; my quest for knowledge is without the limitations, I constantly read, can't go to sleep without reading few chapters every day. Often, I forget the time, get so emersed in the book the sun is smiling at me.

I constantly read

I asked you - what do you read?

My grandma also read every night obsessively, but she read detective novels.

I also have an uncle that is an obsessive reader - but unfortunately for him he only reads self-help books from charlatans like Dale Carnegie.

Perhaps you should read a history of Iran?

Maybe read Josephus' "History of the Jewish War"?

he's giving you a hard time for the warrantless attack on Iran.

Warrantless you say, and you wonder why I call him Golden Moron. not my invention, just justifiable title authored by Rich. I used because his constant us of Golden Cow. It is so comical, like little mouse climbing elephant's leg with the rape in mind.

Perhaps you should read a history of Iran?

And you are certain I did not, your arrogance is astonishing. Noting wrong with your grandma reading detective novels, I have read every book authored by Nelson de Mille; most of them detective stories, with the value driven knowledge. Daniel Silva could teach you extensively about the Middle East, and its histories, Greece and Rome by many authors, and polished by National Geographic Society would tech more about Persia than you can absorb, how about the History of Poland by Halecki, or JamesA Michener's Poland. It would take me all day to mention every book I have read, but what is the point
Believe me when I say I gave more books to library than you have read, I have no more space for new books in my specious house, so to library they go.
You may be smart, but your arrogance is like an anchor wrapped around the swimmers' feet

I have read James Michener's "Poland" and it is excellant. But the best book on Polish history is Norman Davies's "God's Playground".

I see the US wants to suspend member states from NATO that don't do exactly as the US demands including supporting war crimes.
When will Europe and Canada tell the USA to feck off?

It's OK - the US can do without Spain - it's not like the loser Spanish can control access to any important naval channels.

@cms neuf
Or the US can patrol the entirety of the North Atlantic by its self with no ports on the Eastern side or above the Canadian/US border on the western side.

I noticed you decided to ignore the destruction of the Jesus statue

The IDF were very quick to investigate and announce what they laughably call punishment for that incident.

The thousands of instances where they deliberately target children take aeons to report and when they do its covered with a barrel of whitewash. Hind Rajab's voice was recorded by emergency services as her family were murdered one by one until she was the only one left alive. The crew of the rescue ambulance were then murdered and finally the IDF murdered Hind.

Hind was 6 years old.

Actually the U.S.A. is telling the E.U. to feck off.
We are presently withdrawing 5,000 troops from Germany as of yesterday.
Only 80,000 more U.S. G.I.'s to bring back home from the E.U.

They have.

Diplomatically and without announcing things in the middle of the night on an obscure social media service.

A regime of war criminals and soon to be a lame duck regime after the midterms and a democratic administration in a couple of years.

The leaders of the world's major democracies have no need to engage with that failing regime at the moment.

Officials in Brussels joke about Canada joining the EU. Even some European leaders, including Alexander Stubb, the Finnish president, have started to entertain the idea.

At the same time, Australia and New Zealand could also joining the EU. No problem, the EU has overseas territories.

Australia and New Zealand

Do they want to?

Indeed. We don't like filling out a 100 page application where to p*ss.

Australia and New Zealand could also joining the EU

If these two countries, or Canada, join the EU then you can expect people in the Balkans and in Turkey to absolutely blow a fuse.

I know this is all still in the realm of fantasy, but even the fact that it is being discussed is revealing.

People in Paris and in Berlin, feel they have more in common with people 10,000+ kilometers away - than with people living in the heart of Europe, or with the Turks - who have been patiently waiting in line for more than 30 years.

If I was Turkish - I would be p*ssed. It's already clear that Russia could never join or even be invited, but Turkey has been fed all those false promises for such a long time.

Yes. They should join. It would create challenges, however the EU of the future need not be in the same form as it is now and can be looser and not heading towards being a superstate.

Not sure.Turkey is not even a reliable member of NATO.

the EU of the future need not be in the same form as it is now and can be looser and not heading towards being a superstate..

Agreed 100%.If they carry on as they are, more countries will leave The EU.But they will never change.

Europe will eventually have to build their own defense system (to counter Russia), something like EUTO. NATO will be renamed, sponsored by US taxpayers, and headquartered in Israel.

eventually have to build their own defense system

If they were serious about it. They would utilize existing military forces. They would need only to build system of coordination and command copied from NATO.
There won't be any European military.
It possible that central and northern Europe will go for a Defence Pact without western European country.

Correct. The problem is the Southern countries like Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece etc. They are unlikely to be ever attacked by Russia or anyone else. They don't want to pay a lot for a shared military fund, and it's not surprising.

Your idea about the Northern Defense Pact makes sense. The EU could eventually get the money from these warm countries by establishing a higher tax rate or something, they are an expert in taxation.
