"It's too late for Germany" (but not for Poland)

come on a trip with me sometime to the borderlands in Lubuskie. I'll show you the infrastructure that was built

I'm not going to waste any time with you but I can tell you how "much" money Poland ever got from EU before 2004. It friggin 4 billion. It's pretty much like I donated 1000 EUR to some German town and then said that they would starve without me.

Only utter idiots thinks Germany has been pushing for EU enlargements

True. It were actually the Brits (and the Americans) who were eager to expand the EU (and NATO) eastwards as quickly as possible.

Feck off clown. You show 2 articles out of context. UK has never been at the core of EU - otherwise Brexit would have never happened. EU expansions have been German made - simply becuase they make money out of it.

The UK certainly was in the 1990's, and they were among the biggest cheerleaders of expansion. Or have you forgotten already how the UK opened the labour market straight away in 2004 when others didn't?

UK has never been at the core of EU

It was at that time...sitting at the top table.

otherwise Brexit would have never happened

It may be never happen anyhow...

EU expansions have been German made - simply becuase they make money out of it.

Well, over the years it costs more billions than they got. Germany always was a net payer, Poland still is the biggest recipient of EU funds since accession. And will stay so for the next years.

And what about the millions of Poles using the free movement and settling down everywhere across the EU, even in Belgium?

You people arguing with g undercover, it is a waste of time. His views are just extremist all the way through. You can show him what the eu pays for in Scotland and all over the uk and in Poland and its a waste of time. He has no use for any of that or free travel ( poor people dont travel much ), just a typical muppet, we already know the uk is infested with muppets like this and Polska has it's own. Thats the problem with a forum like this, you end up arguing with some toilet cleaner when in real life you would not give it 30 seconds and their stupidity shines through. OBVIOUSLY!

I say just give him his change, wash your hands and keep going. If the eu falls apart or any of those other stupid things it will have nothing to do with those type of people, if it succeeds beyond all imagination it will also have nothing to do with them. Bloody pointless.

they were among the biggest cheerleaders of expansion.

Only because of hopes it will halt "deeper integration" plans.

Germany always was a net payer

Just like the soviet union was always net payer. But "somehow" it was them who nearly starved after the whole thing was shut down.

You people arguing with g undercover, it is a waste of time.

Of course it is a waste of my time. Soon the Irish idiot will show up claiming that PLN would get twice weaker overnight If Poland decided to leave the EU. I can post the actual data showing that EUR/PLN now is basically the same as in 1999 when EUR was created by on the next day the idiot will say the same nonsense in another thread.

Yeah i'm cleaning the toilet, while you idiot, who most likely couldn't even order a pizza in any foreign language, are a friggin king of the universe... riding a friggin mop somewhere in Tesco.

A net-payer? Since when? I don't remember all the rubels rolling into the GDR, quite the contrary...

... Second, East Germany is a vital source of economic assistance to the Soviet Union and provides advanced technology and manufactured goods unavailable in other East European countries....

Read and weep:

WE, East Germany, were theeconomical assistanceto the SU...WE provided them with tech and goods...not the other way around! In other words, THEY extorted their vasall.

Compare that with Poland and the EU...

LOL ! That's the whole point... but go to any internet forum with large Russian presence, tell them the were parasiting on the GDR and they will come up with their "sources" saying it was totally oposite.

No, you are. You are one of those people who see money and get blinds to everything else. Who do not see a difference between a whole country. Its better or worse economy and potential and your own frigging household.

How about I will give you 2000 Australian Dollars a month I feel generous. Here is a small thing, there are a few simple rules you need to follow if you want it:

(12 rules list)
If you derive from them in even a smallest issue for whoever reason you will pay me 10 000 AD.

Hey and if I ever invite some goes to me house - you will show some solidarity and take some of them into your house and feed them of course. While we are at it - you need to shine my shoes just to express a proper gratitude for all I have done for you. After all I'm giving you MONEY.

Aha and if you start redoing your house in the way I don't like, I will harass you even though there is nothing in the agreement you singed that I can do that.

Do we have a deal?

After all I'm giving you MONEY.

It's not only money, Iron.

With your example it would be more like an invitation into a house...an old house, already filled with families. The oldest families in there did even build this house together, they agreed to common house rules, so that this house stays sturdy and well maintained.

Many years later they offer outsiders an apartement in this house, bevor though they talk about these house rules and the newcomer agree, they will follow the rules.

So all agree the newcomer can come, and so this new family get's an apartement in this house. The other families even spend money so that their apartement get's soon furnished and renovated and all that.

In the meantime the new family has access to all the modern WC, to the stuffed refrigerator, to the nice garden and what not...all are happy...but then, after a few years...one of the new family heads get's stinky...he doesn't like these house rules anymore...he even starts to resent the old families for these rules they made so many years back...he says he feels oppressed by them....and anyhow, he doesn't likes this house anymore, he wants it changed...

What now?

Gov does nothing to protect people .....

don't profess to know your business,

You proffers resentment. dude, no one has put a gun to your head and forced you to move to Poland. Nonone forced you to became an alcoholic. Now you spewing your resentment and personal issues by insulting the Polish people.

How about some gratitude to the country you have spend 30 years of your life? Your bitterness is just YOUR problem not mine. You don't deserve a medal.

East Germany, were theeconomical assistanceto the SU...WE provided them with tech and goods...not the other way around!

The did that to Poland too. Claimed and still do otherwise just like EU - that was G. point!

It would had been a point if the SU would had supported us with billions every year as the EU does...otherwise there is no point!

It doesn't make sense. Household in my story represent a country, in your story there are only people. What are they homeless? It might apply to illustrate immigrants and possible issues with them.

Poland its a homestead with some ground around it. You're a richer neighbor that want to cut the road across its ground. Just because you have given to your neighbor some money in the past. Now you have all those many favors to ask but also you usurp yourself a role of a boss, and feel you can order them about and tell them what they should do/shouldn't do on their own property.

Use household hyperbole.
In that way your story would make sense.

In my example every family represents a nation, every member nation get's an apartement in this house, the house is their common home and as such it needs house rules....it's much more than just some money exchanging hands, that was my point.

Have to leave for now :)

Sure, I got it. It simply doesn't represent reality too well. After all nations have their own territory, their own possessions their own place, they are not just moving into somebody else house from a street without nothing of their own.

That is a gross misrepresentation. Each nation bring in their (smaller or bigger, better or worse) property. Use a housing association or something, your comparison just do not cut it. sorry.

every member nation get's an apartement in this house,

That's nation state thinking, western governments are moving away from that and toward a hotel model. A country is a hotel room, rented out to different people at different times (so the owners -the EU) don't care who's in what room as long as the bills are paid.

I did like it - until PIS started turning the country back towards the medieval place it was when I first got here.
As for the alcoholic jibes - where did you get that idea from? No units since 30th August. Of course, many things will drive one to drink - which is why I live in Tri-City - where you don't have to drink, because PIS aren't tolerated here. I leave that binging lifestyle to the Norwegians.

Are you one of them?

Jesus, Butt... The Russians have statistics showing they were pumping billions every year in the DDR just like EU/Gerries have their statistics today.

Good that old bards aren`t alive to see what utter disaster befall Swebia.

Its all because they turned their heads from ancestors. No matter what pressure, they should stay loyal. Did they want to live forever?

Oh just quit your whining. Your point of view is somewhat limited and narrow, as your understanding of what is going on around you.
I told you that many times and it doesn't appear to sink in.
