What kind of Poland do most Poles want?

Let the multi-culti experimenters

god you are so stupid it is unbelievable. for a start you are a 'septic' claiming to be Polish when you are patently not.

Secondly you seem to be unsure what 'multi-cultural ' actually means/meant.

Thirdly you have failed to grasp why countries like Belgium and France and the UK had so many immigrants, while Poland won't.
Certainly France was never 'multi cultural ' but as you don't know what it means my words are probably wasted on you. It is not a synonym for 'lots of immigrants' btw.

Lastly you claim to speak for a nation in which you have never lived.

Oh and just saying, but you appear to be steaming drunk.

Belgium and France and the UK

Those countries have sick societies and following the Muslim invastion will become even sicker -- more crime, religious violence, social problems and creation of no-go ghettos plus huge outlays of taxpayer money just to keep some semblance of order. Poland and neighboring countries will remain a bulwark of European unadulterated culture.

Those countries have sick societies

oh right sure, that is why everyone is gagging to live there.

I am very happy in my 'no go' ghetto thanks.......check the crime stats for SY23 you old fool...:)

Then you can top up your glass and get even drunker.

Belgium and France and the UK

Basically places that people want to live. A few times people here, mostly younger women, have described London to me as "the nearest place to civilisation".

the Muslim invastion

More weasel words?

people want to live

The knee-jerk reaction of many people towards different countries is how much they can earn there. Most countries pay more than Poland so that is a major attraction. Many don't realise the cost of living there is also correpondingly higher. Besides, earnings alone are not the sole measure of a good place to live. Many additional considerations need to be taken into account. Probably you didn't know Poland has fewer OD/drug-related deaths than the US, UK, Germany, Belgium, France, Austria, Sweden, Switzerland, Finland et al. And Poland has a lower divorce rate than France, Belgium, Austria, Canada, the US, Czech Republic, Spain, Germany and others. Family break-up is a highly traumatising experience not only to children but often to one or both spouses.

Some criteria are relative. Poland has fewer cars per capita than the above-mentioned countries, but to envuironmetnalists that is a boon, not a drawback.
rozumiemnic 8 | 3,862
7 Apr 2016 #66
not only about earning power at all. For example several Italian women explained to me how much they loved living in London without the unreasonable societal expectations of how they should live their lives, that they would have had to endure in Italy....

Anecdotal, perhaps. but then you are making sweeping statistical claims with no links at all.

And not only.

Probably you didn't know Poland has fewer OD/drug-related deaths

Being (for now anyway) more rural than most of those.

I notice you don't mention alcohol related deaths

Poland has fewer cars per capita

or deaths on the road, despite the fewer cars per capita. Poland leads in this respect.

And Poland has a lower divorce rate

Not a positive thing at all, where people are trapped in miserable and destructive broken marriages for economic or social reasons. Staying together "for the sake of the kids" is not in any sense a positive thing.

High-divorce-rate countries are lands of unhappy youngsters, traumatised, psychosomatised, maladjusted, who do worse in school and are prime candidates for early addictions, sects and a life of failed relationships. And all because a couple of ego-tripping parents placed their own selfish pleasures, interests and convenience over the needs of the kids they brought into the world.

In your opinion. Would you rather a miserable couple stay in a toxic marriage with all the accompanying effects on the kids, domestic violence, alcoholism, child abuse?
OP Polonius3 994 | 12,367

stay in a toxic marriage

Marriage is a challenge like many other and requires commitment and determination, at times even heroism to make it work. If both sides are bent on preserving the sanctity of the family, concerend about the well-being of their kids work and are prepared to compromise, then often they may succeed. But the weak-willed, selfish mamby-pambies ready to split at the first sign of adversity or the first temptation to cheat on their spouse....well you tell me what you thinks of such pitiful creeps.

alcohol related deaths

Indeed, that is a problem, Poland is 21st in that regard but below Germany, Croatia, France, Russia, Lithuania, Belarus and Ukraine. Still, nothing to be proud of.

od fearing' indeed.

Some people may regard godless sluts as very cutting-edge and modern, but nothing could be further from the truth! Since the dawn of time there have been camp followers and assorted trollops allowing themselves to be defiled for money or lascivious pleasure. Nothing modern about it at all!

What kind of person would even think of using a phrase like that, much less post it online?

A Poland where people use phrases like that is not one that most people would want.

godless sluts

Everyone's a slut for something and everyone has their price...

I just want to see a Poland where wages are higher, the culture remains mostly homogeneous, a larger army (with an underground wmd program), an actual separation of church and state, PiS stops their assault on the uterus, less foreign influence in the economy, less corruption in the police, better relations with the Visegard 4, trade with Russia, and to stop cowering to Zionists, the IMF, the EU, and the US.

And why you think so little of women that you use expressions like:

Given the amount of women venerated by the Catholic Church, it seems that the powers that be would be quite disappointed in a member of their flock throwing around terms like "godless sluts".

I think very highly of women in fact. It is blokes that all too often have their brains between theri legs, far more often than females. Women are by and large more responsible, more likely to commit and be devoted mothers and long-suffering wives, guardians of the family hearth even when hubby is out drinking. But there are exceptions. There are women who cheat on their faithful husbands (rare buit ti does occur). women who abort their own babies or give them birth only to dump them in a trash bin. All they have to do is leave the wrapped infant in a church or hospital waiting room or heated train station, or in one of the Windows of Life.

All in all. the footloose daddies who sow their wild oats and fail to face up to the consequences even shirking child maintenace are crudballs and scumbags pure and simple!

Tut, tut. Someone certainly hasn't attended synagogue in a very long time (or never bothered to pay attention when there).

If you actually believe you are right in criticizing another PF member for his beliefs then you clearly do not understand that veneration of women in the Catholic Church as you put it is nothing more than a continuation of Abrahamic practices of worshipping goddesses as recorded in the Tanakh; particularly the Nevi'im.

It is the height of pure sophistry for anyone to claim that terms such as "Queen of Heaven" is an honorific title of exclusive Catholic use. It is not. It is an Abrahamic ripoff of polytheistic origins and beliefs practiced way back in Middle Eastern antiquity. You are conveniently not mentioning that ancient Hebrews are also recorded as having worshipped their own "Queen of Heaven" for generations.

Indeed, verily I say unto thee:

"We will burn incense to the Queen of Heaven and will pour out drink offerings to her just as we and our fathers, our kings and our officials did in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem."- Jeremiah 44:15-18

This "Queen of Heaven" is believed by historians to be the Semetic deity "Anat" who was venerated as a goddess of violence, war, sex and fertility.

It is certainly worth pointing out (and for you to never forget) that all Abrahamic teachings were alien to the first Polish tribes from which all modern Poles descend.

Therefore only an oily hypocrite would go around pointing a critical finger at the Abrahamic faiths of Christianity and Islam while remaining mum about Judaism.

Either they are all right or they are all wrong. Only a stooge would claim that only one is right and the other two are wrong.

Really? Islam is an Arabocentric syncretic adoption and adaption of Judaism and Arab paganism, and Christianity started off as Nazarene Judaism.

Really?

Oh, look, just like I said:

...only an oily hypocrite would go around pointing a critical finger at the Abrahamic faiths of Christianity and Islam while remaining mum about Judaism.

All three are Abrahamic religions. There is no disputing this.

So why didn't you provide a quick history lesson on the development of Judaism itself then? Oh, that's right, when it comes to being critiqued your sacred cow is suddenly and conveniently left out of the discussion as usual. That's just so routine now that it has become boring.

But lets look at an interesting aspect regarding primitive Middle Eastern religious practices which have been dragged right into the 21st century. When matters like infant circumcision and ritual slaughter of animals were faced with legal curbs in Poland and other EU countries it was always Jews and Muslims who joined together to lobby hard against it. Yes, you read that right. Jews and Muslims linked arm-in-arm to protect their backward and completely unnecessary codes of conduct. And there is no disputing that either.

As I mentioned all Abrahamic religions were alien to the first Poles. And all the tensions between Christians and Jews over the centuries in Poland (and potentially Muslims in future) have all been based on differences and conflicts between each others beliefs which again are rooted outside of Poland.

What kind of Poland do most Poles want? If they say less religion it shouldn't mean less Christianity while the other Abrahamic beliefs of Judaism and Islam are encouraged to flourish or worse perched high on a pedestal so as to be put beyond any criticism.

You'll recall JP2 saying of the three great monotheistic faiths

Yes, and a very admirable attempt at reconciliation between these religions.

But how did the Jews and Muslims respond to his opinion? Did they agree? Sure there were various diplomatic and interfaith exchanges at the time. But these were done at a high level and were by and large just formal pleasantries that one would expect. In other words, they were ineffective gestures.

Indeed, given the very open and repeated hostilities one can read over the years by certain posters here on PF regarding the RCC (particularly in Poland) it is rest assured that they are not even remotely interested in finding common ground and extending an olive branch. For them Christianity is public enemy number one with Islam being public enemy number two. And Judaism? Well, if they are part of any conversation it is always some "feel-good" story or yet another hackneyed tale of woe.

Unfortunately neither of these three belief systems will even truly tolerate each other. They are not designed to and can only co-exist when they have no power over each other in society. And that is not necessarily a good thing either.

Some (particularly outsiders) have written about Poland and point only to it's 16th - 17th century era as being the start of Poland.

They love to claim that modern Poland is "artificial" in its homogeneity because the first and second republics were so diverse that Poles eventually became at most only two-thirds of the population within its official borders.

These so-called experts (multiculturalist propagandists actually) completely ignore Polish history prior to 1569 and especially before 966. While extolling some virtuousness about Poland being a polyglot, multi-faith, multi-ethnic society they refuse to point out that the vast majority of the population lived apart from each other, were not wealthy, and most did not have any rights when it came to deciding laws, electing officials, etc. In other words, they were disenfranchised so they were easy to control.

Some falsely claim too that there was a great mixing of the population. But this can't be true apart from some commerce. Otherwise the whole notion of Jews having some kind of exclusive DNA all to themselves would long have been bred out if it even exited in the first place. A vastly mixed population would have found it impossible to hold any enmity towards each other. And if that were the case then how could any of the usual suspects on PF use their stock-in-trade lies about Poles being willing and eager pogromists in one era and then Nazi collaborators in another? A mixed population would also be incapable of becoming completely homogenous again.

And what the so-called experts also refuse to acknowledge is that having all these disparate groups living within the same territory made it extremely easy for outside powers to invade and partition Poland many, many times over the centuries.

But would it be different in the future? Not just within say a decade or two but a century or more from now. A Poland where now all citizens have rights to work, vote, hold elected office, and lobby for and enact laws just like they do today.

So then, how much of Poland's past and present would be preserved if ethnic Poles effectively became a minority in Poland? Would a new majority of those living in a future Poland but whose heritage and religious beliefs are different and lie outside of Poland truly care about maintaining and restoring Poland's inheritance such as palaces, Christian places of worship and Christian burial sites? Remember that human behavior is very slow to change. So if you need an answer to this just look at today and see how well such similar things of European origin are cared for in places like the Middle East and Africa. You can start a searching using the terms "price tag attack" and "monastery"; or "roman ruins" and "ISIS"; or "war grave" and "Libya" and "militants". The photos themselves will tell you all you need to know.

Would the Polish flag and bunting of its colors still be permitted for public display or would it be regarded as (gasp!) "nationalistic" and shunned so as not to offend the "cultural sensitivities" of other segments in society as they do today with the flags in PC correction camps such as France, Britain and Sweden?

How much would the Polish language change assuming it doesn't wither away in favor of another lingua franca imposed perhaps at the EU level in order to accommodate diversity and immigration quotas?

And how much personal pride would ethnic Polish children have in themselves and their true heritage if, as seen in other Western countries today, they are only taught to respect, value and preserve the religions, customs and cultures of everyone but their own?

I would truly cry...with the invasion of Western and Central Europe, hopefully Poland, Czech Rep, Slovakia, Serbia, and Hungary remain ethnically homogeneous

they are only taught to respect, value and preserve the religions, customs and cultures of everyone but their own?

The issue with the West. We're taught to accept and like everyone's sexual orientation, religion, customs, culture, etc. - tolerance is no longer enough now we have to accept it and like it. However, the same cannot be said for European Catholics - if we believe, because of our religion and customs, that homosexual relationships are a sin, we're labeled a bigots and homophones. Yet we cannot claim that they're being intolerant of our Roman Catholic religion.Total double standard...

In England there was a huge scandal where there were Pakistani males sexually abusing young girls for years and years. Social workers and even the police and politicians knew about this but were too scared to do anything about it as they feared unfairly being called racists and anti-Pakistani or Islamaphobes. This changed once a teenage girl died - and that's what it took to finally have these men arrested.

I just hope that Poland remains the way is has been since the fall of communism - homogeneous, Roman Catholic, and conservative with an economy that is on the rise.

If you honestly believe that you have to follow the teachings of a mishmash of books written by Iron-Age men and that it still applies to us living in the progressive world in the 21st century then you're, quite frankly, a moron.

It's like this, you can have your 'faith' and your monotheistic 'god' while at the same time believing in a trinity of 3 gods within the one same 'god' and that a 'virgin' gave birth to the son of the father even though they are the same, and that's cool, I'm happy for you bro.

But the second you force your bullsh!t beliefs, which you're totally free to have, onto others then you're nothing better than a fascist.

There's a simple mantra that we should be living by, live and let live.
Maybe if more christians actually acted more christian towards everyone we'd have a lot less hassle/hatred/judgementalism/bigotry in the world

us living in the progressive world

So you are saying your progressive godless world without morals or ethics like Rome was before it fell is the ticket ?
You want to make up your own rules (making yourself a god) for your own convenience because it makes you feel good.
If that the case then why have boundary markers and rules at a football game. (Wouldn't that be helter skelter)
According to you everyone should be able to play the game of life by their own rules.

If you honestly believe that you have to follow the teachings

You don't, nobody says you have to, your choice and your consequences but you are a moron if you think you are going to convince Christians to stoop to "atheism progressive thinking" because you demand that it is the right way to live.

You are the one being the bigot here knowing most Poles are Catholic Christians so therefore that is the kind of Poland they choose to live in.

Good luck convincing them otherwise.
