It is the first time I have heard about a pet monkey escape. Snakes and iguanas no longer attract attention so people started keeping monkeys.

No, they weren`t fools. Quite the contrary, very decent people - instead of moving the car by themselves, risking damage, they let it stay there.

Normally a car would be towed away if it's blocking road repairs.

Doing it this way means more cost to the community.

They couldn`t wait for the towing vehicle coz they had their concrete mixture ready to apply on the surface.

That does make it trickier.

Really, they should have thought about that and cleared the area first.

But you know how it is organised at the construction site - some guys mix and send concrete, other guys spread it on the surface. The concrete vehicle came and they had to use the supply on the road.

I would take the unauthorized parking ticket and sue the town.Now in that scenario it will cost way more to get the car out and for the damage to the car.
