Again, America should take the best of Europe. Lord knows, she learned how to take everything else!

@delphiandomine

See in Polandball world a Nazi candidate's Russia links can be overlooked.

Polish rightwingers are not the most brazen hypocrites, but certainly some of the thickest going.

Couldn't agree more ;)

The logic of Polish right wingers is just absolutely ridiculous. They scream about imaginary Communists, then praise people with open and blatant ties to Russia and the FSB.

Anyone with half a brain in Poland knows to stay far, far away from Le Pen. Does anyone genuinely believe that she's going to order French troops to protect Poland if Russia seizes the Suwałki Gap? Of course not.

Russia will never invade Poland. It won't even invade Ukraine properly cos it just wants to ensure NATO cannot gain a real foothold there(illegal and all as doing so is, NATO arguably caused the whole situation to develop by poking the Russian Bear).

There is a lot of hysteria out there too. Putin's quasi imperialist strategy is an illegal foothold in non Nato neighbouring States(Ukraine, Georgia) and then make the others his satellites if possible(Belarus, Serbia, Moldova).

Not unlike Britain forcibly hanging onto the North of Ireland, the Falklands, Gibraltar etc. for economic, military, intelligence, geopolitical/delusions of grandeur reasons when their empire began to dissolve(between 1920's-80's).

I concur roundly with this assessment.

Russia will never invade Poland.

Don't be so sure. They've been conducting exercises near the Suwałki Gap, and it only requires them to seize and hold around 100km of new border to lacerate NATO's presence in the area. They've got the manpower and the tools needed to do it, and several NATO members are unlikely to want to intervene in a small scale conflict that doesn't change much geopolitically.

All Russia needs to do is invade and create a frozen conflict under UN administration. It may not be Poland, but the Lithuanian side that gets targetted, as they've got no real means of repelling such an assault.

@delphiandomine

Sorry while I know you have a genuine view there, that's what NATO propaganda in the media wants us to think in my book, let's build a European Army and stand up to those evil Russian subhumans.

Look at them trying to railroad the Irish and Austrians and any other neutral country into their little back door version of NATO/Arab killing/refugee crisis causing/cold war 2.0 club too now.

He's been around for almost 20 years.

Why is NATO putting nuclear missiles in the Baltics and complaining about same in Kaliningrad? You can't think that's smart?

I can just about handle Polish paranoia but the Lithuanian one is too much. It may be the Irishman in me but I cannot respect a complete client State(whatever their reasons). Joining a military alliance is one thing but the Baltic States have allowed themselves to become vassal States in policy and missile launchpads rather than nations in a treaty organisation.

If anything putting the missiles there makes invasion more likely.

By mounting soldiers on the Eastern border - it keeps people from questioning why they aren't instead patrolling the Mediterranean route

Cold wars can easily turn into hot ones and on a dime. The lesson is to appease the enemy, not necessarily compromise, but deal with Putin, Kim and the rest, otherwise risk a nuclear catastrophe.

You didn't mention the other angles in play here: scaring Poland into buying more weapons from the West.

Ah yeah it's also a bit rich to accuse Russia of stirring things up when you look at all the Nato drills going on.

If there are any Americans on here, doing military drills non stop near the DMZ would be the perfect example of what I mean. I am sure the Trump supporters can think of a legit reason for a missile defence system that in reality is used to target China, but no matter.

Often the guy pointing the finger is the one looking to start a fight.

He is to busy trying to clean up the mess pansy obama should have taken care of eight years ago with N. Korea.
Just listen to the Lefties cry and whine.
I think they are FINALLY getting it that they are no longer in charge.
Our turn to clean up the mess we were left with.
Le Pen announced Monday she is temporarily stepping down as head of her National Front party.
"Tonight, I am no longer the president of the National Front. I am the presidential candidate," she said on French public television news.
This is starting to sound just like America's election when the Left was so cocky sure that they had it won.
Damn I hope she pulls this out to wake up these losers to how the pendulum is swinging back to the good guys.
People have seen how the Liberal Left Socialist Marxists have destroyed Europe and the U.S.
Le Pen would do Poland a favor cleaning up the mess Poland doesn't want to get involved in.

Does anyone genuinely believe that she's going to order French troops to protect Poland if Russia seizes the Suwałki Gap?

Of course she will as NATO would be behind her and Poland 100% Silly.
Anyone with a half a brain can see that she is by far the best choice for France and Poland.

I am sure the Trump supporters can think of a legit reason for a missile defence system that in reality is used to target China,

In reality the missile defense system will be used to shoot down the nuclear missiles that Pajama Boy is going to target S. Korea and Japan with.

It will be removed once N. Korea's threat is deleted.

it's also a bit rich to accuse Russia of stirring things up when you look at all the Nato drills going on.

Yeah like Russia doesn't have the same kind of military drills going on. lol
In fact the U.S. has had to scramble fighter jets four times this month to escort Russian bombers down our West coast.

that's what NATO propaganda in the media wants us to think in my book

Your Irish book is full of Russian propaganda so what's the difference ?

America become an enemy of Europe.sad truth.i hoped for Trump but hes like the others.
just look at Syria, how US and GB wrecking this country, just to make sure Iran never connects oil pipeline with Europe. cus Iranians would never trade in dollars.US would rather support greatest terrorist states (SA) as long as they trade in $ :

Pajama Boy

Oh, joy. People, let us rejoice. Good for all of us in Europe that is N. Korea relatively far from us. Kim is crazy as rat on electricity while USA with its economy and all kind of interests, after all, with its genocidal nature, have that necessity to police the world. That, Trump or no Trump. So, when s*** start to fall from the sky one can only hope to be as far as possible.

It will be removed once N. Korea's threat is deleted.

Good that we have USA to delete Korean children.

US would rather support greatest terrorist states (SA) as long as they trade in $ :

It's amazing how few people understand* the concept of "World Reserve Currency" and how important it is to the US. People are often surprised when I say the US has and will go to war to protect the dollar as WRC.

*You can expand on that to "how few people understand the ideological and economic infrastructure affecting everything they do"

France support terrorists. Nothing good from France to Poland.

How about more like Iran supports terrorists and Russia supports Iran to be Politically Correct Crow.

have that necessity to police the world.

Wrong, to stand behind our allies and in this case which are Japan and S. Korea.
Also Pajama Boy now has developed nukes that can hit the State of Hawaii which is in defiance of a NATO agreement.
You have to read more then the Russian propaganda that is available to you Crow to get the whole picture.

Good that we have USA to delete Korean children.

Pajama Boy is the one talking of a pre-emptive nuclear strike against the children of South Korea, Japan and the U.S. Crow.
If that happens there will be millions of people that die including, sad to say, North Korean children too.
If our pansy ass last president would have had the balls to take care of this problem eight years ago we wouldn't be in this position now of dealing with nukes.

Just one more of many horrible messes he left President Trump to clean up after him.
The Liberal Left just doesn't get it sometimes until it is to late like in this instance.
Really Crow you should get some news sources other then those you are being brainwashed with from behind the Plastic Curtain.
With La Pen as the president of France it will make the region much stronger against terrorism for one which will benefit Poland.
Iran (a State sponsored terrorist country) is going to be the next nuclear threat that will be dealt with, after the smoke settles in N. Korea, which will be much closer to home.

Poland will be grateful that France has a strong conservative leader when that one breaks out as Putin will get sucked into that one.
President Trump told China, either you take care of N. Korea's nuclear threats or the U.S. and it's allies will.
Next it is gonna be President Trump telling Putin to take care of Iran's nuclear threats or the U.S and it's allies will.

Now ask me what the importance is that the new huge Sinigod

Makes no difference for Poland which candidate will become French president.

Macron seems to suffer some mental problems and a big stupid gob.

Macron spoke with French regional daily "La Voix du Nord" after visiting a house appliances factory that is scheduled to move to Poland, where labor costs are cheaper.

He said he would take action on Poland, saying it infringes fundamental EU values and uses fiscal differences to its favor.

La Pen is clearly the best choice once you get thru the propaganda and slander.

PARIS - The man Marine Le Pen chose to lead her far-right party while she ran for the presidency has been forced to step down because he praised a Holocaust denier and expressed doubt that the Nazis used poison gas to murder Jews.

Ms. Le Pen on Friday morning called the outrage directed at Mr. Jalkh , her choice for interim leader of the National Front, a "defamation."
delphiandomine 87 | 15,827

La Pen is clearly the best choice

One wonders why you seem keen to push a pro-Russia candidate on Poland who has openly proposed to slam the borders shut on all migrants, legal or otherwise. That means Poles will not only be deprived of work, but will also be forced to deal with a country that is openly making deals with Russia behind Poland's back.

Macron is the only guarantee for Polish security in this election. Russia is far, far more dangerous than any imaginary Muslims.

Putin is not killing Poles
Assad is not killing Poles
ISIS has killed Poles

Russians have and need be, will be defeated again. What is occurring with Islam in Europe is uncharted waters. The last time we had such a large underbelly with a contrasting religion it resulted in the Holocaust. [this includes Bolsheviks]. Poland has and can find livable common ground with Russians. Poland + increasing Islam population within EU?
delphiandomine 87 | 15,827
28 Apr 2017  #88

I really don't think you understand who is massing troops and weaponry on the Polish borders. It's not ISIS.

You're in America, Putin poses no danger to you. It's a different story if you live in Suwałki knowing that Russia would annihilate your town within hours in the event of conflict.
nothanks - | 663
28 Apr 2017  #89

ISIS is an increasing threat from the Western side. Where/why did the truck driver get murdered?

Thus your solution is for America to mass troops and weaponry in Poland? Turning Poland into this on-edge tug of war. If you truly seeked a solution with our neighbors it wouldn't be more troops/weapons.
delphiandomine 87 | 15,827
28 Apr 2017  #90

Thus your solution is for America to mass troops and weaponry in Poland?

Not only America. The more NATO troops and weaponry in Poland, the better. Russia isn't going to attack Poland in that case, which is exactly what we want.

A few migrants are nothing compared to the potential losses from Russia.
