Ah, good old PZPR-style anti-semitism.

hmm is that even means anything? You spew a lot of nonsense. Not to mention that that term itself is just a nonsense as well.

hmm is that even means anything?

Deny, insult and attempt to discredit. Again, straight out of the PZPR handbook.

You spew a lot of nonsense.

Surprise, surprise.

One thing that's quite interesting is that the PZPR was always quite a nationalistic party beneath the token rubbish about brotherhood and so on. PiS have wisely copied their rhetoric and style in order to win over a thoroughly brainwashed part of the population.

Deny, insult and attempt to discredit.

Its only so much BS that normal people can take.

Again, straight out of the PZPR handbook.

Again a meaningless phrase.

Surprise, surprise.

Nah, that is only to be expected from the likes of you.

PiS have wisely copied their rhetoric and style in order to win over a thoroughly brainwashed part of the population.

Hmm .....again that nonsensical rubbish. Why don't you stop breathing because PZPR members have been breathing as well. If not you will be accused of coping their style and being the Stalin himself according to your absurd illogical manipulations.

Its only so much BS that normal people can take.

Yep, another PZPR line. They used to write about how they cannot tolerate these bandits and provocateurs and so on.

If not you will be accused of coping their style and being the Stalin himself according to your absurd illogical manipulations.

Trying anything to deflect reality, aren't you?

PiS = PZPRbis. It's very, very clear.

Trying anything to deflect reality, aren't you?

Don't want to destroy the world you are painting - the world of the fairies.

PiS = PZPRbis. It's very, very clear.

Yes, it is very clear you are smoking something bad for you.

Notice how you completely avoid the topic of how PiS is controlled by ex-communist individuals. Not a surprise, as it's obviously something you don't want to be public.

Perhaps because that's utter nonsense invented and spread around by propagandists like you.
delphiandomine 88 | 18,163

Invented? The proof is all there - PiS have appointed endless ex-PZPR men to prominent positions, in line with their pro-Russia strategy.

Still, when they don't appoint ex-PZPR men, they appoint 25 year olds with no experience to run important departments :

natemat.pl/167375,kim-jest-pawel-kurtyka-szef-rady-nadzorczej-agencji-mienia-wojskowego

Yet another young person with no experience appointed to run an important agency. What's with PiS and appointing kids with no experience to positions of national importance alongside appointing endless ex-PZPR individuals?

Quite how anyone expects a 25 year old with no military experience to supervise military property is entirely beyond me. Still, he'll be useful when it comes to helping our Russian friends.

An utter nonsense not worthy of being refuted.

endless

How do you define "endless": 2, 3, maybe 4? While you mull over the answer, do you know of any Polish political party that did/does not have ex-PZPR members in their ranks and appointed none to senior posts when in power?

PZPR-style anti-semitism.

So nwio you're accusing KOD or KOK of being anti-Semitic? When at a loss for an argument, whipping out the anti-Semitic card can be a convenient riposte.

Yet another mess from them really and another nail fortunately in the coffin.

in the coffin

Any info on when the funeral is planned? Your Brit Bully mate Delph has so far evaded answering the question what end-scenario the deluded demonstrating masses think their marches in the freezing cold will bring about. Will they scare PiS into voluntarily stepping down or what?

There'll be plenty of notice of the snap election and full TV coverage like last time so you won't miss out.

[Moved from]: Victor Orban visits Jarosław Kaczyński. Poland's Prime Minister Szydło not invited.

On 6th January 2016, Victor Orban had a meeting with Jarosław Kaczyński here in Poland. Prime Minister Szydło wasn't invited. She's supposed to visit Budapest on 13th.

Several years ago I read about countries using the Westminster System, where leader of the leading party automatically becomes the prime minister. I thought that was curious. Now I know why it's important.

This was a private visit. For a private visit you may want to invite people you like to have a beer with. The two men talked a little about the situation in Europe over a beer. It is just like you and me: we may also have a talk on politics over a beer, but we don't need to invite Beata Szydło to join us.

I am not saying that Jarosław K. doesn't like Beata Szydło. But the obvious reason might be, for example, that he knows that Beata does not drink beer.

Your Brit Bully mate Delph has so far evaded answering the question what end-scenario the deluded demonstrating masses think their marches in the freezing cold will bring about.

"The deluded demostrating masses" - that was a good one.
"... their marches in the freezing cold" - that one is even better.

I suggest to leave the whole thing at this point. Sounds quite hilarious and is truly excellent as a conclusion.

you won't miss out

I'm not worrying about missing out since I closely cover Polish affairs. But what scenario options have been put to the gullible marchers in the cold? They're freezing their b*llocks for only some vague notion of "marching for democracy". The trough-defenders appear to be purposely keeping them in the dark.

Could be that Jarek wanted to talk politics without his staff around.

The Pro-Democracy campaigners are certainly better informed than you suggest. Certainly on the whole better educated and more worldly than the PiS demographic.

Interesting times and heartwarming to see so many people keen to defend and promote democracy and reject nationalism.
Polonius3 994 | 12,367

better educated

So these better educated people are freezing in the cold without knowing what end-scenario options their KOD leaders are proposing?

have a talk on politics over a beer,

Or talk on beer over a beer.

It is imortant to say that on your picture Beata Szydło is not drinking beer. She only pretends she is. What she is drinking is camel urine and the hidden messsage behind it is: this is exactly what you are going to drink when sharia law is enforced in Poland! (for details see the discussion in the Off-topic bin of the 4th January).

The majority of voters shared her idea behind this message and as a result PiS won the parliamentary election.

as a result PiS won the parliamentary election.

You say that the two aforementioned gentlemen were talking "Over a beer." Now in the world of dirty seaside postcards - what rhymes with "beer"?
Roger5 1 | 1,448

The majority of voters

The majority of voters who voted voted against PiS.

PiS won the parliamentary election.

True, and no complaints from me. But who's calling the shots?

So these better educated people are freezing in the cold without knowing what end-scenario options their KOD leaders are proposing?

'These'? A very big 'these', thousands of these awkward pro-democracy Poles...

The protestors are their for the best possible reasons. Most protested against tyranny once before.

The majority of voters who voted voted against PiS.

And this is something that the PiSuarzy would love to be untrue....
Polonius3 994 | 12,367

reasons

The reason is that they dislike the present government. But what end-scenario can the cold-weather marches lead to? That is the question!
No, many were not even born or were young kids during the 1980s so they couldn't have protested against PRL tyranny.
jon357 74 | 22,018
7 Jan 2016 #206
The reason is that they dislike the present government.

As do most people; hence the massive number of pro-democracy protestors.

No, many were not even born or were young kids during the 1980s so they couldn't have protested against PRL tyranny.

And some were middle-aged then, but although tyranny can persist, so does the nation. And Poland is resolutely pro-democracy.
Polonius3 994 | 12,367
7 Jan 2016 #207
resolutely pro-democracy

So they plan to march until they're blue in the face or until the next election?

A TNS Polska poll showed that if the following stood in the 2020 presidential elecftion they could expect the following support:
Duda 26, Petru 14, Kukiz 13, Tusk 9, Nowacka 6 and Kosiniak-Kamysz 3.

A TNS Polska poll

What an utterly pointless poll, of those only Duda would stand for elections, the rest have bigger fish to fry than to take orders

Just as predicted, PiS are yet again raising taxes on the sly. Now it's car insurance - we can all expect to pay 6% more for compulsory third party insurance.

natemat.pl/167915,radziwill-przywroci-podatek-religi-kierowcy-zaplaca-wiecej-za-oc-by-pomoc-ofiarom-wypadkow

So much for the claim that PiS will cut taxes :D They're raising taxes left/right/centre, just not the headline grabbing ones.
Polonius3 994 | 12,367

Just as predicted

.. .Juist as predicted, the PiS government are doing something about the junk jobs that are the bane of millions of Poles. Work is now under on regulations that would provide retirement and other benefits to those emplyoed on temporary contracts. One by one PiS are fulfilling their campaign pledges and the KOD a*seholes can only rant, rave and gnash their teeth. Serves 'em right for all the malarky they churn out!
