meanwhile,

I'm quite shocked at the level of detachment from Polish realities. I.E> street names.

As for socialist policies, those are rampant across Europe. To claim that Poland is more socialist in handing out benefits than most of the EU countries is just not factual.

You just repeat verbatim PO propaganda here. It is OK propaganda doesn't have to be consistent.

BS no 1, you know nothing about this part of Europe, it is obvious.

Ever heard of Nord-Stream 2?

rzynastka for retirees, 500+ extended to first children, money for pigs and cows..

I think that if I lived in Poland maybe I would see things in similar way but by living abroad you can't help but compare and I don't think it is much different in other countries.

We just started building social housing in Poland and they are mainly given to the families on law income. In UK you have families of native British and with foreign roots - some with lots children living from generation to generation on benefits- all funded by working people taxes. What about Labour party in UK all nasty anti-Semitic remarks. There are not so many Jewish in UK but lots Muslims so again they want them to vote..... I know I don't live in Poland so I am not so affected by these changes/decision but I would not say it is just Poland. In some aspect I am happier with trzynastka for pensioners , 500 plus for normal working family on low income...(I think farmers are in general supported like this in France, UK ) than all for some fat cats in Government.

Funny you used a Ukrainian site to prove the case concerning Germany. I thought such rabid nationalists stay away from Ukrainian sites. :):) Besides, your source talks mainly about German deputies, not Merkel. Please, next time think twice before you offer us another BS. Are you able to do it at all?

PS. If Merkel really supported Russia as you nonsensically babbled, Western sanctions against the Kremlin would have been lifted long ago. It is the German business that is pressing on her and as she has become weaker politically recently, the debate about lifting the sanctions got new life.

You know nothing about it, so stop polluting us with absurd remarks.

In Britain it goes to some 50 year old Muslim from Birmingham with 20 kids by four wives

This is true........not sure about the Bentley bit though.... :-)

Yes it does I have lived in Birimgham for over 50 years

Spot on Dolno!

And parents raising disabled children can go f**k themselves? (esssentially what PiS told them)

In the UK you see the direct effects of welfare dependence... why would you support a government that wants to do the same in Poland?

Where I come from there's plenty of Bentleys, Rolls Royces, Ferraris, Lamborghinis tearing around the place, especially when there is a wedding when the whole Pakistani village comes out to celebrate letting of firworks well into the night

I know it's an inconvenient truth and it's hard for you to accept it.

Doubtless you still cling to the Russian callusion delusion regarding Trump.

I fear you you stay in your own echo bubble too much to know what is going on in the real world.

I'm quite shocked at the level of detachment from Polish realities. I.E> street names.

I'm for renaming in some cases, but when carried to extremes it becomes about trying to change the past - a useless pastime that wastes time, effort and resources.

I'm for renaming in some cases,

Well even the Russians feel ashamed of some of their former leaders... remember a place called Stalingrad?

Yet somehow Stalin's famous gift to Poland remains as an iconic symbol of 50 years of occupation and oppression.

We took the wrong path Milo, all is possible when you have a liberal benefits system

Does a majority of people in Warsaw (or Poland) want to do away with the building in question? I've never heard of anything of the kind... when there's a majority and a referendum let me know...
dolnoslask 5 | 2,920

Does a majority of people in Warsaw

For me it stands for soviet subjugation over Poland, my uncle who lives in warsaw was told as a child to be careful what he says in sight of the tower.

If we smashed it up it would only **** off the Russians more, after all they saved Poland did't they, cough splutter.
Miloslaw 19 | 4,981
30 Apr 2019 #286
For me it is a symbol of Russian Communist oppression and I would cheer if they demolished it.
But I believe that many Poles have become quite fond of it.

One of the shocks that I had to overcome when I moved here , I guess they have moved on , It's their future, lets hope they choose wisely at the ballot box, or maybe we will see a famous Polish actor running the country after the next election.

It is funny as may be to read both of you talking about Katyń, Siberia, Soviet-erected buildings and at the same time hoping that PiS will again win the elections. It would be even amusing if it wasn`t so pathetic because it is PiS which is pushing Poland to experience similar horrors like Katyń. Their moronic diplomacy is making Poland a foreign body in Europe, an absurd country which will be again abandoned like it was in 20th century when stormy times come. PiS are ready to give up Polish membership in the EU solely to keep power, that is their primary goal. Out of the EU, Poland will come back to Mother Russia sooner or later.

The same applies to other morons, nationalists and radical right.

That is why the wise choice at the ballot box is not vote PiS and those on the right.

Errm Pawian where have I said that I hope PIS win the elections? , where did you come up with that idea?

If not PiS, you support nationalists then, which is even worse.

Their moronic diplomacy is making Poland a foreign body in Europe,

What utter drivel.

Poand is become recognised by many in the EU as the leade of the nations daring to stand up the Merkel-Macron dictatorship of the EU.

Please explain 'how it is PiS which is pushing Poland to experience similar horrors like Katyń'

Are you suggesting that if the Polish Intelligensia don't go along with the EU dictat they will be taken away into some forest and get a bullet in the back of the head?

The political right is getting growing support across the whole of the EU form Poland, Italy France, Germany Holland and many others who are getting tired of the undemocratic way the globalists are moving the EU.

You simply don't seem to have a grip on reality.
dolnoslask 5 | 2,920

If not PiS, you support nationalists then

Oh because half my family were liquidated or sent to Siberia or because my Grandfather fought with Pilsudski against the Bolsheviks, or is it that my father was in Anders army throughout the Italian campaign or is it because over a quarter of a million of us were exiled after the war.

So in your eyes am I a nationalist or a patriot or a citizen of Poland, or would you like to forget we exist as happened during the PRL.

What do you consider to be a nationalist, does any of my history above make me one?, what are you commie enemy ?

Aren`t you able to read more than 2 sentences with proper comprehension? I already explained it above.

What do you consider to be a nationalist,

OK, then, time for show down, dolno - which party would you vote in the coming elections? In case you have Polish citizenship, which one will you vote?

PiS are ready to give up Polish membership in the EU solely to keep power,

Where do you hear that? It's utterly stupid. It is a moronic chant which Shetyna and his band criminals keep moronically chanting. Only idiots believe him. Even the President of the European Commission has said Poland is unlikely to leave the EU.

reuters.com/article/us-eu-poland/eus-juncker-says-poland-unlikely-to-leave-the-european-union-idUSKCN1S50BU

So, Juncker says there will be no Polexit, Kaczynski says there will be no Polexit. Only the idiots in PO and there followers say there will be.

Besides, unlike in the UK where there was a groundswell of opinion for leaving the EU, the vast majority of Poles want to remain in the EU.

Does anyone seriously think Poland would try to leave the EU without a referendum?

So, time for show down, dolno

Pawian if you ever read the $hite I write here you will find that I do not have time for ANY politicians or parties globally , they are all Wanker$ out for their own interests.

PO/ PIS both have their idiots and crooks, don't you agree?

Breaking democratic principles, PiS don`t need a referendum to be expelled from the EU.

Juncker says there will be no Polexit,

Funny you suddenly rely on the opinion of Juncker whom and others like him you usually call Marxist scum etc. :):)

PO are full idiots and crooks as can be confirmed by the scandals and levels of corruption during their term in power.

PiS still seem to have public support and have done a great deal to put Poland and Poles on the road to an economic upturn. Economically Poland is in a far better state than it was four years ago, and PiS would even be a lot more popular if it wasn't for the German owned media in Poland.
