exactly. his 'market place logic' is not holding up to normal standards here. maybe he shoud make a crash course on economy

pl by the way has to watch and wait how the eu krach will develop. if there are any major changes, pl's economy will also go down the drain...no money left for 'sponsoring' anymore

Ohh come on do you mind if i personally insult you a bit more, please, just look at the crap your capable of spewing.

Disprove it.

he main street in gdynia is now mainly cash lenders there were none 3 years ago.

If this the main street?

maps.google.com/maps?q=gdynia&ll=54.514007,18.540115&spn=0.060388,0.209255&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&hnear=Gdynia,+Pomeranian+Voivodeship,+Poland&t=m&z=13&layer=c&cbll=54.513864,18.54009&panoid=O2m2PaSV7ooQdTKHjBjxEg&cbp=12,211.82,,0,11

Show me where the money lenders are.

My country (the UK) is in recession but is still a magnet for about 1 million other immigrants a year and why? Better communication, better housing, health care, benefit system, more jobs, better schooling.... better then Poland.....

So why are you here?

Hi Peterweg... the words Granny suck and eggs spring to mind.... I lived in an apartment on this street last year and none of these were there.

if you lived here you'd know!!!! no.1 money now!!! (near to the war memorial) ,no.2 open finance (opposite pizza hut), no.3 gold finance (opposite empik) and those three are off the top of my head there are more...

Ultra successfull Poland will soon be full of Kantors, Lombards and Money lenders....

**************

I came to Poland to help the polish economy...more then what Tusk and his band of idiots are doing and you!

Obviously I don't have any idea of the places you are talking about so I gave you a streetview link. Why did you chose that town in particular?

You realise if you decided to live in some godforsaken town in the UK half the shops would be charity shops or pawnbrokers.

Maybe we are judging by what we see, I live in Krakow and this place is booming. Quite obviously that is not the case elsewhere in the country. Which is why we rely on national statistics.

Gdynia is a major city.

You realise if you decided to live in some godforsaken town in the UK half the shops would be charity shops or pawnbrokers.

What utter rubbish.

Its gdynia - a major Polish city and part of the trojmiasto. Its one of the more wealthy Polish vovoidships becuase of the docks. Did you honestly not know that.

Which is why we rely on national statistics.

Boom there it is, surprise surprise the computer programmer relies on national statistics for his analytical life data. I mean lets not even bother taking a look around or speaking to actual people.

You are blindly biased IMO.

Gdynia is one of the richest cities in Poland...

Just as a matter of interest,in relation to context and average wages, has Poland the highest rent prices in the EU??
peterweg 37 | 2,311

ohh man you should have lied to squirm your way out of that one.

From what he has said, economy there is dead and the high street is full of dodgy lending places.

Please tell me why I should be interested in a place that he has describe as a dump?

Why should I lie about something of no relevance to me?

Why should I lie about something of no relevance to me?

Relevance or not im talking about common sense and a very basic geographical understanding of the counrty in which you say you reside, everybody knows about the Trojmiasto - you know THREE cities of which Gydnia is one, Sopot and Gdansk are the other two. I find it especially difficult to take somebody preaching economics serioulsy when they thought Gdynia was some small godforsaken town.

Ever heard of Wroclaw? The capital of Dolnoslaskie.

Gdynia was some small godforsaken town.

It is a small town which I have no interest in visiting, especially now I've been told its a miserable, depressed.

I find it especially difficult to take somebody preaching economics serioulsy

You will take any excuse to, slag me off. You guys can't add up, but I've never been to the Polish Seaside. Well, a 99pln airfare will sort me out.

Are you going to re-do your maths 'O' Level (or wtf its called these days)?

What anti-semitic statements have i made?

About Jews controlling Poland

I came to Poland to help the polish economy...

Very funny, you dump on the country at every possible opportunity, and as peter has pointed out your presence makes the average IQ of the country go down.

you dump on the country at every possible opportunity,

Poland is and has always been in a very bad place, economically. To point this out is just being realistic and is not "dumping on Poland".
peterweg 37 | 2,311

as peter has pointed out your presence makes the average IQ of the country go down.

In fairness I've never called him stupid, or any poster for that matter. There is a difference between stupidity and ignorance.

Stupidity is the inability to understand or deal with something due a incapacity of the brain. Ignorance is a lack of knowledge, in this day and age thats due to a laziness or refusal to get that knowledge. Most peoples IQ is high enough for them to be able to educate themselves if they want to (IQ tests are bullshit to a large extent as they are too maths orientated). But they don't want to, preferring the lazy option, ignoring it or pretending it isn't true.

Apparently its worth a massive amount of intellectual effort not learn maths.

Poland is and has always been in a very bad place, economically.

So has Ireland. They live off potatoes and are un-educated. They will starve when the blight comes.

Funny, Ireland managed to turn its economy around and make it population rich. It did this without Polands advantages; large amounts of top quality agricultural land great geographical location and a large population.

No you did not, i was just illustrating the fact that he completely ignores statistics that are inconvenient to him, and comes up with no stats to back up his ridicules rants, which in my book certainly makes him stupid.

It's weird how investors have spent this month pulling out of Poland faster than they are getting out of the eurozone. Poland could be in some deep do-do.

Why do investors want to get out of the Eurozone? Big mistake that.

Not leaving for the long term. Foreign investors are taking out the money now hoping to buy back the same amount of 'product' at a cheaper price due to the euro's spiralling weakness.

@Wroclaw + Milky

If banks collapse in Greece, the whole banking system shall collapse since in Greece they have foreign banks. I watched a program tonight with economists and journalists from around the world and they say that even in the US it is feared. If the Greek crisis was put on the G8's agenda, it is not for nothing.

Because of said banks, the zl has gone down to the euro (since "Polish" banks are mostly with western capital). It is no joke.
