About Kijowski who the hell can tell as all newspapers are lying. T

Well, we can tell what AP says by looking at AP's website. Strangely enough, that website says the exact opposite of what you claimed it would say. Would you like to explain why you've been caught lying yet again?

i just thinking how is Poland happy to have Hungary and Serbia on its side. It become these countries represent only independent states in Central and South-Eastern Europe and, independence is freedom and, freedom is democracy.

how is Poland happy to have ... Serbia on its side.

Exactly as happy Poland is to have the first unicorn reserve in the world (scheduled to open soon, according to some news sources).

AP says

AP says exactly what is bounced back between Michnik's rag, the NYT, CNN and other liberal-leftstream media. They tendentiously highlight rthe position of KOD, Schetyna, Petru and servilistic EU bureaucrats but rarely fully present the government's side of the question. As you know, it takes two to tango. One-sdied disputes do not exist, but reading the Michnik rag and his emulators one might conclude that was indeed possible. Balanced reporting means giving equal time or newsprint to both antagonsits. That is not being done by the "free", "democratic" and allegedly "truth-seraching" liberal-leftstreamers.

AP says exactly what is bounced back

Don't be silly. Why would the world's largest news agency use a secondary source in a foreign language. When a phone call to Freedom House would save all that hassle.

Much as you dislike the fact that the leader of Poland's pro-democracy movement was invited to Washington, that suggestion was really clutching at straws...

Freedom House

Freedom House are part of the liberal-leftstream establishment who promote globalism, PC, sexual deviation, abortion, euthanasia and other leftist notions and judge others according to that slanted key.

Freedom House are

A highly respected organisation. Perhaps you prefer far-right set-ups.

And deny it though you pathetically tried, Mr Kijowski was invited to Washington.

Mr Kijowski was invited to Washington

...After much string-pulling by shakers and movers of the Michnik kibbutz gang!
Or do you prefer the fairy-tale version: Washington invited some bloke whose name they can't even pronounce on a whim, on the spur of the moment or maybe ran through the phone book: Kędzierski, Kiblowski, Kickowski...ah, let's go with Kijowski...

ighly respected organisation

....But respected only by libby-lefty loons. not by normal, decent people.

libby-lefty loons

wtf is a 'libby lefty loon'?

and if you think you are 'normal' you are seriously deluded.

I mean can't you use proper words instead of some silly baby language?

Wow. Simply wow.

The prosecutor who received the case stemming from the reports of a crime being committed as a result of the puppet prime minister refusing to publish the latest TK decision decided that an investigation of this crime was needed: he was promptly removed from his job and his boss has resigned in protest.

tvn24.pl/prokurator-od-sledztwa-dotyczacego-tk-wyrzucony,633699,s.html

So the country has taken another step on the road to The Banana Republic of Poland.

Very far from normal. Just an online windbag with a very chequered history doing online amateur polemics that are completely out of touch with the situation in Poland.

The Polish pro-democracy protesters have nothing to worry about from things like that; indeed I'd be surprised if that many of them read English. They tend to be ordinary people who are appalled at the attacks on democracy and on Poland by the toxic PiS cult.

ordinary people who are appalled

...appalled, resentful and frustarted at having been sent out to pasture and deprived of the former perks and privileges they enjoyed under the scam-friendly Platformer regime. The freedom and democracy rhetoric are just so much window dressing which sounds better than than people fighting in defence of their shady interests.

What? Retired people? Private sector workers? Doctors? Lawyers? Shop workers? People who work for Catholic charities? Engineers? Teachers? During the last Polish pro-democracy rally I recognised people I know who do all of those things.

Come off it, Po. you know perfectly well that nobody believes your inane and amateurish propaganda.

I recognised

You don
And you didn't see any former PZPR members, SB types, leftstream jorunalists who lost their public-media jobs, former PO activists, retired PRL-trained army officers, etc. You must be suffering from selective vision syndrome. I suggest you see a good Jewish oculist. One has just set up shop at Rondo Wiatraczna. His name is Isaac Zamend.
jon357 74 | 21,758

And you didn't see

Nope. In your mind.

I suggest you see a good Jewish oculist

Why a. a Jewish ocularist, and b. why bother mentioning the gentleman's religion. You seem to have athing about Jewish people.
Polonius3 994 | 12,367

gentleman's religion

Not religion but ethnicity (separate DNA), but this had nothing to do with religion or ehtnicity in the first place but was a play on words. Reckon you don't appreciate American wit.

Isaac Zamend (eyes examined). Get it now?

A simple solution to the current constitutional crisis has been proposed.

Currently, the Prime Minister is responsible for publishing the decision of the Constitutional Tribunal. It would require a simple change in the law to change that to the President of the Constitutional Tribunal, thus ending any problem with the law.

What about it, PiS?

Isaac Zamend

I did wonder, but it was a bit weak. Reminds me of a funny joke about a Pole at the opticians that you might like (not the US kind of Polish joke) but if you want to hear it then we should go to random chat.

About the people I saw and recognised when the Polish pro-democracy march passed by, all of them were ordinary enough people, ones you would probably get on with. It's a genuine grassroots movement, no more the people you mention than the average PiS voter is in any way like the crank Macierewicz.

Currently, the Prime Minister is responsible for publishing the decision of the Constitutional Tribunal.

It seems that that problem no longer exists: the national judicial council have just issued a statement confirming that whether or not a decision of the TK is formally published has absolutely zero effect its binding status. And they are also less than impressed with the efforts of the PIS lovers to threaten the TK judges.

Once again, Wulkan, the opposite of the truth. PiS supporters wouldn't know truth and objectivity if it slapped them in the face with a wet huss.

But I'm not a PiS supporter, almost nobody is, I'm am what every sane person in Poland is, an angry lemings-basher

ublishing the decision

SHe cannot publish an illegal decision. That is the whole point of contention in terms of legal technicalities. The TK operates on the basis of law and within the limits of the law, the currently bindign law, not some antiquated or oudated law that has since been amended. We've been over this time and again. If the TK had 13 judges as required by law, then they could have legally ruled the December amendment to be unconstitutional. The best solution would be for Rzepliński to be a man of honour and voluntarily resign, thereby paving the way to a compromise.

SHe cannot publish an illegal decision.

If she can stand by and support the destruction of the rule of law in favor of rule of party (PRL style) then she clearly has no ethics whatsoever. Nor does anyone who supported PiS's gutting of the constitution.

The fortunate part is that it looks as if the judicial community has decided to ignore whatever the government says and instead exercise judicial independence. The TK will be free to keep on issuing rulings, and courts will follow the TK's decisions regardless of what the government says.

fortunate

Your choice of words is always very telling -- secretly hoping chaos ensues, or that riot police will be trotted out against the KOD creeps. Time again you have indicated that "this should be fun". You'd love to sit back and watch the excitement. But Poland is serious business, not a side show or computer game.
OP delphiandomine 88 | 18,163

But Poland is serious business

Indeed. That's why we support the Constitutional Tribunal and the Constitution against the attacks of a government with a wafer thin majority that behaves like the country is theirs and theirs alone to rule.

Yes, Poland needs the rule of law, not the rule of the Party or the dictatorship of The Dear Leader Chairman Kaczynski.

But Poland is serious business,

Not when these jokers are in power.

Do you seriously think that these 76 pages here are a joke? Look at any Polish newspaper site. The same many pages stand.

When PO were in power, things got done. We never heard about "Tusk this", and "Tusk that...." because deals were being made, schools were being built, roads were being constructed, and jobs were being won.

All we ever hear about with PIS is about individuals. Typical bull, and to be expected of these clowns. Horses RIP.
