Having said that, there's no way this government will last for long if they're openly hostile to America.

I think you forgot that Obama's days are coming to an end. And George Soros is 85, he won't live forever either.

PiS have swung heavily towards Russia

And to support this claim you've got following: nothing, nothing and nothing.

And George Soros is 85, he won't live forever either.

Thank God.

Duda is visiting Washington now - Obama refuses to meet him according to the media because of the 'constitutional crisis' in the Poland... such hypocrisy

Obama refuses to meet him according to the media, this is very true.

Obama refuses to meet President Duda in Washington, Warsaw business Journal.

It is there for all to see, our democratically elected government is being attacked because it does not kow tow to the libtard US leadership.

Long live the US Generals, General Patton would have dealt with business. stuff the libtard politicians

And Polonius3 dares to to bare false witness on me, as a catholic and a pole , when I point out the error of his leaders and their policies.

Nothing to do with the PIS lovers refusing to follow Polish law?

The law is just words on paper. PiS can change the laws so they are not breaking the laws. They just overturn the years of PO corruption and stuffing the courts with their own judges once they knew they were losing power.

Polish Law is set by the democratically elected government of Poland . The current government has the mandate of the polish people end of, over and out.

Thanks zabena, not many here standing for Poland.

The government is bound by the Constitution, which is above the government in Polish legal theory.

If you believe that the government has the right to do what they want regardless of what the Constitution says, then the PRL is calling and they want their favourite son back.

Russia is no threat to Poland, especially if there are no Nato forces stationed in Poland, the cold war is dead believe it or not, It is only American propaganda that tells you to be afraid and dance to the American tune.

Bravo. We must avoid war and aggression at all costs. The truth is I dont know if Russia will do something aggressive for Poland but I dont think so. I hope they never invade Poland or attack or murder (if they did I would be really ****** off).

But by placing American/NATO soldiers and equipment in Poland more Russian missiles are pointed at Poland. Poland even with NATOs help is in no condition to lead a charge against Russia. This isnt the days of Pilsudski. There are rockets, massive bombs, and destructive weapons at play in todays world. It would be a complete disaster. Millions and millions could be lost.

Do not deal with the devils. Interventionist Liberals like Clinton and neoconservatives (mostly hawkish Jews with proIsrael leanings) would love to see Slavs dying.

Cancel the aggressive BS and unnecessary wars and let Poland be Poland.

Yes, by being armed to the teeth, thereto with our allies ready to destroy anyone who attacks.

We will do exactly the opposite of what you suggest as you are Russian...

Funny how these pro-Russia trolls have popped up, claiming to be Polish isn't it?

Anyone genuinely interested in Poland's security would see the deep integration into NATO's military command as being an absolute priority.

I never thought I'd ever say "spot on" to any of your usually lefist-liebral-libertine utterances!

We aren't so far apart ;)

I'm politically a centrist, and it's pretty obvious that deep relations with NATO (including plenty of NATO troops, planes and ships being stationed here) means that any aggressor is going to know that an attack on Poland is an attack on NATO. Right now, it's still not very clear that NATO would respond, especially if it was a localised invasion (for example, Białystok and Przemyśl) - but a decent NATO presence would soon change things in that respect.

Obama refuses to meet President Duda in Washington, Warsaw business Journal.

That's all leming made nonsense. Bronek idiot wasn't even invited to these summits.

You'll say anything to defend PiS, won't you?

It's pretty clear in the US media that it's a deliberate snub and that PiS was desperately trying to obtain a meeting between Duda and Obama to give them some legitimacy.

It's pretty clear in the US media

No it isn't. It's all took out of a dirty ass of Polish "liberal" propagandists. Same like with canceling NATO summit in Warsaw. Old propaganda trick, repeat a lie again and again until people start believing in it.

US media

You should have been more precise and said liberal-leftstream media which largely involves the Michnik-NYT feedback effect which then bounces back amongst CNN, the Washington Post, NBC, LA Times, Newsweek, etc. In other words, KODerast snitchery in action. Only the KOD creeps are overemphasising the alleged snub. In actuality, Obama has had private meetings only with three Asian nuclear powers as scheduled.

Since the snitchery it has evoked more European intervention -- Jagland and Timmermans are due to descend on and check up on "wayward" Poland shortly -- probably the most apt description would be: neo-Targowica.

Looks like Obama is refusing to meet Duda due to his disregard of the Polish constitution... hmm bit hypocritical, don't you guys think so??

I do recall Obama saying that our Constitution is old, outdated, and the founding fathers wrote it with a 'blind spot.'
Polonius3 993 | 12,357

hypocritical

Hypocritical but par for the course for the KOD hypocrites. 90% of the time Polish officials conferred about security issues including July's NATO summit in Warsaw. Only a few journalists brought up constituion- and tribunal-related issues

Duda easily explained the situation which was all the more understandable since the US are currently involved in a similar contorversy over Supreme Court appointments.

KOD hypocrites

POLISH REBEL LEADER GREETED IN DC
Mateusz Kijowski, a former nobody who sparked off an anti-government revolt among Poland's poltical losers, will predictably be greeted in America's liberal-leftist circles. Posing as a great human-rights champion, Kijowski's visit was arranged by Freedom House, a Washington think-tank. All the average American poltiican or official knows about Poland is what comes through via the feedback between the ethno-ideologically kindred GW and the NYT.

I do recall Obama saying that our Constitution is old, outdated, and the founding fathers wrote it with a 'blind spot.'

But has he violated it?

I presume the blind spot is slave owners writing a document about freedom, liberty etc.and only applying it to US citizens in the USA. Apparently slaves and Non-Americans don't count/

Mateusz Kijowski, a former nobody who sparked off an anti-government revolt among Poland's poltical losers, will predictably be greeted in America's liberal-leftist circles.

He's meeting the US State department and Obama's officials. In fact he's meeting far more important people that Duda is given access to.

This is a bit shocking, I admit. Having Polands President snubbed something I didn't expect.

In actuality, Obama has had private meetings only with three Asian nuclear powers as scheduled.

He hasn't time to meet the man responsible for defence in the front line fight against Russia on the day they announce the troop upgrade? Poland is the worlds 20th most powerful economy. Its President Duda's first offical trip to the American capital.

No he isn't. It's all Goebbels level of propaganda. Please kindly name these "officials".

I expected it the minute Macierewicz started insulting the United States. One thing about Americans is that they don't take kindly to being insulted.

Hungary's Orban is banned from any political activity in America, so I don't get why you would be so shocked, seeing as how PIS have aligned themselves with him.

Ask the Washington Post, but I doubt they know, or would reply to some idiot demanding to know US government officials future plan.

He's coming over in April. You will find out then.

Why was he banned?

The USA supports democracy, freedom etc, not dictators,

this clown is going to meet

The clown who is more important to the USA than the President of Poland.

Why was he banned?

Because he is a fascist and un-democratic? Ask the Americans.

Orban isn`t fascist. He just refuse to follow dictate and believe that Hungary and Hungarians deserve at least minimum of independence.

So Crow - you are right, and the White House is wrong - is that what you are saying? When any European president is snubbed by the American administration that pretty much destroys its' effectiveness to delegate in many peoples' view.
