Problem is that when you want to have an elective surgery fo.... they can deny you because of your past non pay record.
Those kind of issues are mostly for seniors who get medicare anyway. I was talking about younger healthy people who typically don't experience such things and emergency situations in which case the hospital whether public or private has to treat you under law.
And yes, you can get an elective surgery without insurance if you say and do the right things. In some hospitals you'll have more luck than others. Just depends on a variety of factors.
Also, I'm not aware of different hospitals sharing patient records. That would be a huge HIPAA violation.
THEY DO NOT have to treat you for an elective surgery and will require pay BEFORE the elective non life threatening surgery.
I've never heard of a USA hospital requiring a payment that clears up front. If you don't have insurance they will ask you for payment, in which case you can just say bill me and give them an address.
Plus, in the absolute worst case you can either get a job for like 2-3 months or incorporate and get health insurance under the business.
one always talking about how the low life's scam the system to make the rest of us White folk pay ? :-o
I was talking about your statement with people sending pics of those not wearing a mask how it wouldn't work, not how to scam a hospital. However, I don't have a problem with whites ******* the system and I wish they did it more often. I view it as getting some of those tax dollars back.
Won`t they go to court which will rule the unpaid sum will be deducted from your payroll?
Not that I've ever heard of. Most healthcare providers don't report unpaid medical debt since eventually the government will pay a big chunk of it. Even if they do, medical debt is given the lowest priority o
They theoretically can go to state court and get a judgment against you. Even after they've received that judgment though you can still get out out of paying quite easily.
