Coronavirus in Poland

Covid is just the common cold

They keep them there until their lungs are turned into mush from the high pressure of oxygen.

That what is killing people, not the virus.

Imagine actually believing that crap...

I have to confess that I was wrong about the covid death reporting. My suspicion was that they falsely code deaths as covid just because they found the virus. I just found the numbers for Illinois and hoped to nail the liars. That did not happen.

Here they are from:

dph.illinois.gov/data-statistics/vital-statistics/death-statistics

2019 - 109,000
2020 - 133,000

2020 covid death: 18,000 as reported by worldometers.info/coronavirus/usa/illinois/

That leaves 6,000 additional deaths from other causes. Looks reasonable to me.

I ask my doctor today how much longer he thought this Covid b.s. was going to last.
He said, "how should I know, I am a doctor not a politician."

Day 42 (or 32*) of the fourth wave...

percent of positive test results: 1.79 % of 42,833 tests...

hospitalization: +41 = 823 very big increase, we'll see where this goes....

percentage of positive tests to hospital admissions:

seven day moving average : 5.4 % (- 0.4)

day 42: 5.3 %
day 41: 14.5 %
day 40: 10.8 %
day 39: 1.9 %
day 38: 8.1 %
day 37: 0.6 %
day 36: 1.7 %

intensive care: +9 to 91

deaths: 21 (12 with comorbidities) big daily jump

from the previous day**: seven day moving average of daily deaths : 6 (-1)

Today's weirdness the number 'cured' people has been reduced by 101.... are these vaccinated people who've tested positive and/or been hospitalized?

Currently infected (how ever they happen to calculate that....) some bogus number over 161,000.... (which kind of throws a lot of the other numbers into doubt as well...)

*the minister of health first announced the fourth wave for the second half of august but jumped the gun 10 days earlier saying it had already begun)

**the source I use is a day behind and I'm too lazy to calculate on my own

Does it feel like a fourth wave there or are things normal. The UK has talked about a "firebreak" short lockdown in the autumn if there's a spike in hospitalisations however right now, things are back to normal.

Nuke thyat sh]t from orbit.... no more lockdowns ever (unless you're desperate to drive up case numbers again)

Does it feel like a fourth wave there or are things normal

If it weren't for the masks on public transport and inside stores (I've noticed a bit fewer in the last week or so) you wouldn't know there's a "pandemic".
Novichok 1 | 3,976

you wouldn't know there's a "pandemic".

Because there is none. 0.2% is barely detectable regardless of where it happens. "Pandemic" only means that it's everywhere but it connects very nicely for the covid terrorists with "panic".

@jon357
No panic here like before. People are over it. Too many vaccinated now and anyone trying restrictions again is likely to see real backlash.

No panic here like before

The only panic (or anything like it) I remember was over by Easter 2020 (for sure by the May holidays). It's government that's holding on to the panic.
Novichok 1 | 3,976

It's government that's holding on to the panic.

because in a panic the already obedient crowds will give up everything - money, jobs, self-respect, freedom of movement, and a desire to question and challenge the "authority".

That last one - the authority to terrorize in the name of protecting - is now being stripped away from the governors in the US. Predictably, only where the Bolsheviks are not in control. It's amazing how covid confirmed again what we all knew before this "pandemic" got off the blocks.

Imagine actually believing that crap...

Hardly anyone talks about this - the laymen because they have little idea what is happening in an ICU and the professionals because they do not want to "**** where they eat" - but there are quite a lot of papers available that discuss the problems that occur after such an intervention. You are damaging lung tissue that is supposed to shield you from pathogenic infiltration, of course you will always have some "side effects" here, you do not do this unless it is our last resort. That's why it's totally retarded to aimlessly put covid infected on ventilators because "the WHO said so". It's not happening as often as it used to, but in march, april and up to may it was probably one of the primary reasons of death of covid infected.

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2481465/
lungdiseasesjournal.com/articles/ventilator-associated-pneumonia-and-in-hospital-mortality-which-risk-factors-may-predict-in-hospital-mortality-in-such-patients.html
sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0422763816302114

VAT (ventilator associated tracheobronchitis) and VAP (VA pneumonia). Google those two. Mortality up to 50%.

Laypeople. Like you and I.

That's why it's totally retarded to aimlessly put covid infected on ventilators

I'll trust the doctors on matters of medicine. As do most people.

it was probably one of the primary reasons of death of covid infected.

One problem with science-deniers, flat-earthers and anti-vaxxers of all sorts is that they just make up sentences like that, pop in an out of context footnote and hope people believe it. Fortunately, people are increasingly wise to the notion of Fake News.

Denying Covid is like a fight against the windmills (Don Quichotte anybody?)...it might help to pass the time but it won't change a thing and leaves you only frustrated in the end!
jon357 67 | 17,031

Like the scientists behind all these research?

Like the doctors who daily take the decision to intubate, based on their medical training and experience and always informed by their Oath, to do no harm, specifically "I will use my power to help the sick to the best of my ability and judgement; I will abstain from harming or wronging anyone by it,", which in the Polish version says much the same thing.

How can you type this as if the entire medical profession doesn't openly go along with transgenderism?

Your answer defeats itself.

There are varying and much discussed opinions among doctors on the issues of gender identity and reassignment and biological sex; every single one of them is worth more than yours.

As with your Covid conspiracy woo.
johnny reb 31 | 5,705

I strongly disagree jon as statistics say quite the opposite of the propaganda that you are trying to petal here.
(A) The number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000. (B) Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are 120,000. (C) Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171 Statistics courtesy of U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services.

Doctors kill more people than guns do in the U.S. jon which is a quite well known fact.
You, like the rest of the sheep, have been dumbed down to the point of no hope of ever getting it.
Does that mean Covid statistically kills about as many people as doctors do ?

Denying Covid is like a fight against the windmills

Nobody is denying covid. We are denying the idiocy of dealing with it and stripping little Hitlers of their emergency powers to inflict pain. Like lockdowns - the most moronic idea since you can do only it only so often without destroying everything we worked for. Conclusion: don't do it at all and let the scared a-holes and the vulnerable sit home if this is what makes them feel better. I will be 80 next March and didn't even sneeze or cough once so far. And no temp, either.

gender identity and reassignment;

You can't "reassign gender" because you cannot "reassign" reproductive organs and the chromosomes. The fact that we got bamboozled by the weirdos to allow doctors to cut a dick off because the guy is mentally sick will go down as the worst case of obedience against science and reason - just to please a tiny minority of the well-organized alphabet lobby.

Trust the science.

Talk about a degraded expression.... in February 2020 countries all over the world completely dumped existing pandemic plans that had been worked out by experts over years.... to follow the same Chinese communist philosophy responsible for concentration camps for Uyghurs....

Sweden was one of the very few places that followed established protocols rather than the crazy pseudo-science of Xi Jinping.

No more lockdowns. No more aping Chinese communist policies....
Novichok 1 | 3,976

No more lockdowns.

And no more masks, either. Today, I went to a gun store. Right there as you enter there is a sign: No Masks Allowed Here. Nobody inside had one, nobody got sick and nobody died. I know because I asked.

At LA Fitness, you have to have one on you to walk in. After that, nobody gives a damn. In food stores, nobody says a word. Everybody is sick of this bush*it and the bush*itters with titles. On the way out, I asked one of the instructors how this mask crap is supposed to work since I can barely breathe even without it. "It not supposed to".

Bottom line: we all are now faking it and made these dust shields into chin masks, to fend off the overzealous mask Gestapo.

Now that flu season is right around the corner, I will be wearing my N95 everywhere in public.
I will be using my hand sanitizer every time I get back in my truck.

But most sensible people won't be.

Why is it sensible to not wear a mask in public?

The top of the line model converts urine into drinking water.

Soon....at the latest when we populate Mars! :)

Interesting:

reuters.com/business/healthcare-pharmaceuticals/novavax-expects-make-available-least-2-bln-covid-19-vaccine-doses-2022-2021-09-10/

Now it seems to be a tight race between USian "Novavax" and french based "Vanefa".

Both work differently as the actual available vaccine and promise a longer protection, easier handling (no extra deep cooling necessary) and alot less side effects.

The EU ordered also already 200 billion doses Novafax till 2003 (alongside Vanefa)....also Novafax started the third and last round of clinical tests and is expected also to get the nod in spring 2022.

Just for information.....all actual vaccines are based on mRNA....Novafax and also Vanefa are protein-based....as are the Influenza vaccines. Much safer and easier! And all studies uptodate point to a much higher effectiveness. Till now the only reported after effects had been a certain sensibility of the puncture site.

PS: Also interesting....Novafax is already starting studies to combine its new vaccine with the yearly Influenza vaccinations...one shot for two Sicks, not bad at all!

percentage of positive tests to hospital admissions:

day 42: 5.3 %
day 41: 14.5 %
day 40: 10.8 %
day 39: 1.9 %
day 38: 8.1 %

The UK has talked about a "firebreak" short lockdown in the autumn

I think there would be uproar if that happened regardless of the circumstances. Faith in the vaccination program would plummet as the people who got vaccinated to get life back to normal would wonder what the point of it all was.
