Coronavirus in Poland

Interesting new finds about "long Covid":

Clues to long covid

People who survive severe covid-19 appear to end up with a prematurely-aged immune system and other persistent immunological problems, which may be the underlying cause of long covid. The immune response to acute covid-19 is now well understood, but the longer-term effects are only just coming to light. The preliminary results from three studies looking into these long-term effects were reported last month at a virtual conference hosted by the UK Coronavirus Immunology Consortium and the British Society for Immunology. Together they suggest that the immune system gets a nasty hangover from the virus, but that it may be reversible.

but that it may be reversible.

Those would be truly good news, both for the poor people suffering from it and our health care systems that are struggling to deal with them

Numbers, the most important data...

percent of positive test results: 5.42 % (of 60,647 tests ... the new normal is clearly less than 7%)

deaths: 289 (over 150 fewer than last Friday)

from the previous day*: 7 day moving average of daily deaths: 290 (down 24 from yesterday)

Beautiful day in Krakow. Going out to rynek where even last night some places were opening. Clearly people have had enough of all of the restrictions.

Beautiful day here too.
The traffic was horrendous yesterday afternoon as the people are flocking from the cities north to the beautiful State Parks to camp for the next couple of weeks to celebrate Memorial Day week end.

It looks like they have told fake Dr. Fucki that they are not waiting for the 4th of July to grill a hotdog at a State Park as Fucki had suggested a couple of months ago.

People have finally figured Dr. Fucki Fraud out.
Restaurants were filled to 100% capacity last night with no one wearing a muzzle.
Did you see where Dr. Fucki said that since masks worked so well for the influenza this last year, to almost zero, that we should start wearing masks from October thru March from now on. lol

What the hell? Weren't you the one posting a few days ago that your friend had died and was against wearing a mask and that everyone needs to wear masks to be responsible? are you insane and change your mind every few days or just another boring troll?

@johnny reb
I did see it, and laughed. Here we are supposed to still social distance and wear masks when in public. No one is doing it except extremists. Just had a great lunch in Kazimierz, it was sunny and hundreds of people around.

Some kind of thing happening in Rynek for the weekend with vendors and booths with all Polish best street cuisine. Definitely having a few beers and some kielbasa tonight. Life slowly returns to normal.

wtf are you talking about? everything is still closed you can't even go to a bar or sit in a coffee shop and i just checked all aquaparks and pools are closed its dead as fck. youre making it sound like because people go to a park the country isnt in a lockdown anymore. who gives a crap about some park? i want to go to an aquapark or a pool at least. im tired of parks. and try to meet some slut or get some pu-y at the bar or something. so yea some parks are open with maybe those street vendors and some but not all restaursnts let you sit inside. big f deal if i can't get fed up at a bar and have no females in my life to fck or friends family here and can't go to a pool.

O.K i'll take your words in good faith this time. Poland is not fully vaccinated so you still think Poles should wear masks in most areas i take it?

Don't. "Now everyone has been vaccinated" is a lie.

Quoting:

As of 6 a.m. EDT May 13, a total of 118,987,308 Americans had been fully vaccinated, or 35.8 percent of the country's population, according to the CDC's data.

Partially vaccinated is not 100%, either. It's about 60%.

Another problem: the covid terrorists here, clueless as always, did not say that the vaccinated are no longer spreaders. This, in plain English, means that nothing has changed as far as "science" goes. What is changed is that we discovered what the fiddle fingers are for and the "system" got it.

In the last two days, I have been to a hospital and food store with no mask and nobody said a word.

"Now everyone has been vaccinated" is a lie.

O.k., Ricky, lets split hairs just to argue which you are only here for.
Everybody is figurative speech.
Should I have said, "more people than not have been vaccinated in my county, (over 55%) and most of the rest have no intentions of being vaccinated."

So most everyone that is going to get vaccinated have been vaccinated so it is safe to say that everyone has been vaccinated.
Now where you live in Chicago the best county is maybe at 35% at the best so not true.
You really do need to lighten up.
Class dismissed.

I watched that video and realized how naive I have been calling them covid terrorists. These people are criminals and not one bit better than Dr. Mengele. In fact, they are worse since their victim population is larger than his, and the results deadlier. Then, some a-holes here tell me to trust "science" and "scientists", followed by a lecture about "democracy".

My conclusion is that useful idiots are more dangerous than criminals since there are more of them and they are more believable to other useful idiots than the cynics like me. This forum is no exception.

From dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9586967/Ministers-split-lockdown-June-21.html

Ministers 'are split' over whether to keep lockdown beyond June 21 to protect 'idiot' vaccine refuseniks - amid fears local Tiers will have to return in England with Scotland ALREADY targeting areas

Such discussions happen when the "each life is precious" idiots have too much power. My vote: ignore them and let them die. When they show up at the ER, tell them to go to hell.

Now with most everyone that plan on getting poked, the masks are finally coming off.
Things are getting back to normal quickly here.
I did see one woman driving her car, with a biden bumper sticker, wearing her 'virtue mask' yet just yesterday.
I think she was doing it to instill guilt in others who have thrown their muzzles in the trash.

LOL lots of that here too. Some people still double masking and giving the rest of us dirty looks. Meanwhile, I enjoy a beer at the local pub at night on the deck and relax while others choose to celebrate more vigorously. Heading back to the woods in three weeks again, looking forward to more normal behavior.

It's been common knowledge that leftists are idiots, but this is a new low. It goes like this: Since A refuses to get vaccinated, B must wear a mask to protect A.

You couldn't make this sh*it up!

Are you really to stupid to understand the logic behind this?
