Coronavirus in Poland

Just check it again if you can be vaccinated after Covid,as they do ask you a question before vaccinated if you had Covid in the last 30 or 60 days I forget.

I will be getting my second dose in cpl of days and will be in Poland next week,I wonder if they make me test again before immigration again in Poland as per new restrictions.

Proof of vaccination is easy entry in Poland. go through Amsterdam though and you still need PCR test.

Really I still need PCR test to enter Poland?I do have that card that I am vaccinated,but they say they have testing in Warsaw airport if the Border Guard asks for.I am going through Munich though.ACW didnt inform me about that yet also.

The vaccination card is so flimsy anyone can print it home so I also took pics with date of the card after first vaccination and then after 2 doses written on it and the second appointment card from the hospital .

I would think of getting it laminated or look into whether you can or not. PCR is mandatory to get through Amsterdam. Testing at Polish airports is not PCR its simple antibody test I believe.

The testing centre at Okęcie offer both. Different waiting times for the results of course.

The stats above are from Google. One mistake though. The 20,000 are people recovered yesterday. The number of new infections is 35,253 and as mentioned, 620 deaths.

No, today (Friday) it was about 30,000 31% positive (percentage positive is more important than absolute numbers) down from yesterday as well and 497 deaths...

This wave seems to be peaking/stalling... which is good (and no credit to the government).

As long as there are no people dying in the corridors of polish hospitals goverment will not be blamed. Election is long time away..

And with 70% of them being false positive tests that number would come down to 10,500 with less then two-thirds of them even knowing they were positive with no symptoms brings that number down to 700 with most of those only having mild flu like symptoms so now you are down to 100 that need to be admitted with maybe three that actually die from the virus itself.

Funny how that new infections statistic of 35,253 is meaningless now isn't it.

Talked today to one guy who takes business trips abroad almost weekly and every time he crosses the border, border guards do a nasal swab on him while shoving the stick almost up to his brain. He can't take it any longer, so he is contemplating infecting himself with coronavirus on purpose, so he doesn't have to go through it again. Anyone who gets infected with covid is exempted from nasal swabs for 6 months after recovery.

Completely untrue about any exemption. Nasal swab required for PCR testing and you cant get into most country's now without a PCR test. I myself have been informed I must get another such test next week once released from quarantine to go to USA.
