I am actually surprised by the lack of violence against the ruling scum.
I watched some videos with people clashing with the police, in most cases they were reprimanded for not wearing a face rug.
But in most cases, Poles just applied a simpler solution:
the economy of effort.They just do what they would normally do ie. skiing in Zakopane or going to the open restaurants (more than 1/3 of the restaurants in Poland were opened in mid. Feb '21 despite gov objections) and test what the government is going to do about it. The state doesn't have enough controllers and beaurocrats to control the situation.
And also they know that they don't have the power to pacify the nation unless they declare a state of emergency. And they don't want to do that because then the government would be obligated to compensate 100% of the profit loss to all small (and big) business owners. So
they gambled with corona-restrictions and Poles called the bluff.
