Britain has inoculated more people than the whole EU put together

It's worked out very differently from the pre-Brexit predictions....

Because they are not ruled by such rightards as Polish ones.

Britain is run by rightards its obvious your knowledge of European political structure if very poor along with with your geography blunders. please google current British government.

The rightard Briish government is steaming ahead with inoculations while European partners are cheating the rule and failing to distribute fairly and efficiently.

And Poland under PIs is leading countries like France, the netherlands belgium and austria, Poland is doing a good job considering Germany has hijacked the supply chain for itself.

So Pawian you should be praising your leaders.

See table of country by country performance below.

We shall see how the British vaccination program compares to other European countries down the line. So far it looks like they did a lot right on this issue, but whether or not this evens out their previous downright atrocious handling of the pandemic remains to be seen.

So what? I said Poland is ruled by Polish rightards. Britain is ruled by BRITISH rightards. Did you really believe I thought they are the same?? So you were wrong. You lose one point. hahaha

Britain is ruled by BRITISH rightards

These rightards that let hordes of non-whites in and turned London into a foreign territory where you have to ask, "do you speak English" like I ask when I go to the local Walmart here? Those "rightards"?

Seek help, pawian, or delete "rightards" from your brain. It lost all meaning and you are embarrassing yourself.

you are embarrassing yourself.

No, our exchange with dolno is about the current governments which are responsible for vaccinations. So why do you mention immigrants? You didn`t read it carefully enough.

My advice: you type faster than you read or think. Can you change that order?

how the British vaccination program compares to other European countries

Customs officers in France snatch away sandwiches from British lorry drivers explaining to them that meat products between their slices of bread are not alllowed to the EU unauthorized. So I am told ...

That's the most recent achievements in the UK vs. the EU match.

What has this to do with Coronavirus in Poland?

@PolAmKrakow
People in Michigan have had enough and told the Governor to pound sand by posting a manifesto on Facebook.

Entitled "Baraga County Manifesto," it alleges that, under COVID-19 rules, Michigan residents have "endured restrictions on their freedom which have not been seen since the days of King George III and the American Revolution." It accuses state officials of adopting "clearly unconstitutional measures which treat human beings like herd animals." And it pledges that Baraga County will take no action in furtherance of "a terribly misguided agenda."

keweenawreport.com/news/local-news/baraga-county-officials-post-covid-manifesto/

The snowmobilers and skiers will pack that counties bars and restaurants.
How long will it take for the rest of the counties in the State to follow suit ?
And low and behold the next day the b!tch came out and said bowling alleys and gym's could open back up.
Amazing how people re-act when push becomes shove.
People will only be governed as much as they want to be governed.
My bet is that the State of Michigan will be opened back up totally by Easter if not sooner.

Britain is run by rightards its obvious you

It's 'run' by highly dedicated public officials who are politically neutral and spend a great deal of their time reigning in rightard politicians.

It also has a very well-established socialised health care system (that rightards would love to dismantle if we let them) as well as a strong local government structure (ditto) that enables effective distribution of resources in a crisis. Poland to an extent has this, however it's less well-developed and less efficient. Plus, the human heography differs.

The Polish situation somewhat mirrors the rightards attempts to 'run' things in the UK (giving contracts to their cronies that they don't deliver on, paying 30 quid for poor kids' food boxes worth less than 3 quid among other disasters) however Poland at least wouldn't make that same mess with the food. The shameless political vaccilation however is identical in both countries; rightards are the same the world over, craven, amateurish and self-delusional.

We are about to see things happen on Monday here in Poland too. Most business saying they will open on Monday regardless of what PiS says. Some already open. The mountain people are already opening up. A friend of mine in Zakopane today at a hotel last night eating out and drinking.

that's the way it ends.... lockdowns have long stopped being about anything but the transfer of capital to digital oligarchs who will find reason after reason to keep them going

exercise appropriate caution and get on with your life

Something is about to break. They're now saying April before they'll be allowed to reopen, probably to make sure that the ski season is over.

Lockdowns are the new PRL - economic catastrophy masquerading as policy. They cannot be continued. Exercise due caution and return to normal.

Two weeks to flatten the curve and there's still no end in sight? Somebody's got some 'splainin' to do....

How about addiction to power combined with the fear of being told: "thousands died because of you". Trump was actually called a murderer.
A bankrupted store is not as spectacular as a body bag in a freezer.

PolAmKrakow- Most business saying they will open on Monday regardless of what PiS says.

This is fine to open businesses just so long as the owners/management ensure that all customers wear masks, adhere to social distancing and ensure that numbers of customers are restricted to prevent overcrowding and breaching distancing rules. Not much to ask for if it means a business can get back to making money.....

ensure that numbers of customers

A lot of businesses have limited hours (bars, cinemas etc. ) limiting customers means slow death to them

Somebody should have invented masks for bars that had built in straws so the alcoholics could keep the economy afloat.

They cannot be continued.

I agree today. Last year I supported it but that was the time we didn`t know everything. Now we know the virus is going to stay for a long time so closing down randomly chosen facilities and institutions is senseless.

The most absurd of all is the way that kindergartens remain open but schools are closed. It's completely illogical.

From my perspective, the biggest danger relates to insufficient ventilation and alcohol.
mafketis 29 | 9,510
14 Jan 2021 #4,282
Now we know the virus is going to stay for a long time

We don't know that. We know that it has a bit higher fatality rate than flu (it can be devastating for those with fragile health) but hardly dangerous at all for most people.

We know it's not super-contagious, it acts like a typical seasonal respiratory virus,
but.... protocols created by the Chinese Communist Party (which runs concentration camps) for dealing with it make it more dangerous than it is... lockdowns and social distancing and masks all weaken people's immune systems rather than help them, they devastate the economy (except for a few mega-rich digital oligarchs) and just prolong the misery.

And most tellingly, those in a position to know (like members of governments around the world, including some behind things like lockdowns) treat it as if it were harmless. These are people who would kill us all and lock themselves in bunkers if they really thought it was dangerous but the guy behind the lockdown policy in the UK broke his own policy so he could have a booty call with a married woman...

Stop the nonsense already!

You corroborate my words now - covid is going to stay like the flu did.

We know it's not super-contagious,

Its new mutations are said to be. The British one or the Czech one discovered by PiS.

Stop the nonsense already!

Time to revive old Polish traditions! Rebellion!

Its new mutations are said to be.

Isn't it convenient that that was 'discovered' just as soon as it was clear that the public was not sufficiently.... enthusiastic about the vaccine?

Norway has already recommended that those in frail health not take it (after an usually high number of fatalities)

Latest figures for numbers vaccinated so far in Poland, 14 January 2021 - 0.98% of the population.

Denmark leads the way with 2.23%, then Ireland with 1.57%. Germany is surprisingly inefficient with only 1% and Italy and Spain surprisingly efficient with 1.5% and 1.45% respectively.
mafketis 29 | 9,510

Meanwhile in Norway they're saying 'very frail' people (while failing to define 'very frail') over 80 should probably not receive the vaccine (after a high than expected death rate following vaccination).

The vaccine was not tested on this population. I can partly understand why but it does point to caution with giving this to older and weakened people.

norwaytoday.info/news/norwegian-medicines-agency-links-13-deaths-to-vaccine-side-effects-those-who-died-were-frail-and-old/

And in the "things that make you go 'hmmmmmmmmm'" file, we find this: Mummified zombie Legarde things old people live too long and something needs to be done about it....

I stopped believing in PiS data long ago. They are maniacal liers, ready to falsify anything to sell it to their brainwashed voters and others as their great "success."
