Rather unpleasant numbers today in Poland, 1,584 new cases and 32 deaths.

New daily numbers for Poland...

Fatalities (daily total) 31, age range 38-99, average age breakdown

38-59 = 2
60-69 = 9
70-79 = 5
80-89 = 10
090-99 = 6

The average age of covid fatalities is more or less the average life expectancy in Poland.... so....... PANIC EVERYBODY!!!

Number of active cases (running total) + 966 = 16,230

Hospitalizations (running total) + 139 = 2134

Ventilators in use, + 14 = 110

Number tested (daily total) = 23,200

Cured (daily total) 586 which is 36 % the number of discovered cases..

Ratio of cured to fatalities (daily) there were 18 times more cured cases than fatalities.

Time for another lockdown? Only if you want economic devastation that will kill more people than the virus ever could...

But maf claims it doesn`t matter. So who should I listen to now????

maf claims it doesn`t matter

I wouldn't say it doesn't matter, just that other things (like not falling into a full-blown economic meltdown and maintaining human liberty) are more important.

It's unpleasant but a virus is gonna virus. Lockdowns don't stop it they just delay it. Be careful and help protect the vulnerable (older and/or very sick people) and let it burn itself out among those who won't be strongly affected. That's the only strategy that will work.

I wouldn't say it doesn't matter,

Yes, but still you said this: Of course panic addicts will jump on the new infection numbers to keep their adrenaline fix going.... I understood your intentions and believed we didn`t have to worry. Now Atch says it is a worrying situation.

Who should I believe now? You are both experts on the virus in the forum and I want to stay with you, but your opinions are so contradictory.

Yes, adult, but it`s not enough. You are both experts while I know close to nothing about the virus.

You are both experts

Neither of us is an expert.

I just look at some numbers (and follow a couple of sources I trust, which excludes most mainstream media on this issue).

Do your own research and come to your own conclusions.

The US government just pointed out that the survival rate for those under 70 years of age is over 99 % dropping to 94 for over 70

Draw your own conclusions.

You don't need to be an expert to realize that this whole thing is totally overblown. The worst part about corona isn't even all the old people that died, it's that governments all around the world are using this as an excuse to take more and more freedoms from people. We're not going to get those back even after this whole thing dies down. The worst offender is UK and Australia. Cops arrested a pregnant woman for sitting on a bench in a park saying she wasn't following social distancing guidelines. Meanwhile, the UK arrests people for posting things online how covid is being blown out of proportion, that the mask rules are ridiculous, etc. I mean there's literally a video where UK government goons break into a guys house because of his opinion on the whole covid thing. Not really a surprise though - the UK is notorious for not respecting freedom of speech and arresting even 12 year olds for calling a soccer player a "black ****" not to mention all the others who were fined/arrested for discussing paki rape squads. Governments especially in W Europe and the old UK territories have taken away so many rights from people under the guise of protecting them. It's quite sad because so few people realize what's actually going on. Now some politicians are even talking about making covid vaccines mandatory even though according to various polls most Americans (not sure about other countries) do not want to take the vaccine. But if you're a healthcare worker, a student in a public school, teacher, etc. you won't even have a choice - either take a crazy unproven RNA type vaccine that literally alters your body's DNA (as opposed to the traditional DNA based vaccines where a tiny but of virus usually inert is introduced) or get fired/kicked out of places.

Meanwhile, the richest people became even richer thanks to all the trading opportunities over the past few months. A person could've literally thrown a dart at a list of blue chip tech stocks and they'd end up making money.

Are you people still excited about chinese flu? After a half year of repeating the same bull* and the reality showing the real potential of a "deadly pandemia that will kill us all unless..."?

The deal is simple: as long as you'll passively accept this "new normality" and submit to paranoia produced on a daily basis the government will "make love" to you (from behind).

And who can blame them really? It is much easier to rule over scared, simple sheeps than assertive persons.

Yesterday I came back from a holiday (10 healthy days without coronainfo and dust masked freaks!) and went to supermarket where I had a discussion with an English simp who challenged me on the account of me not wearing a muzzle. His main point was: "if we all don't wear masks the government will impose a second lockdown". At that point I knew that any logical argument will not penetrate his thick skull.

There's no cure for fools...

After a half year of repeating the same bull*

Its all about control and libtard politics. Ive visited over 150 or so different job locations the past 2 months, only 2 people freaked out and ask me to put a mask on. ( Biden supporters) Everyone, Ive met is sick and tired of it and are voting for Trump. This is a huge change for Illinois. I hope the state flips:)

There's no cure for fools...

Sheeple being fed BS from the mainstream media.

I personally am starting to believe this whole dog and pony show is one big hoax to strip us of even more of our freedoms.

I posted that on March 19 of this year.
And six months later it certainly is looking that the China flu has been way over blown to say the least.

Here are some real numbers.
The death toll from the China flu pandemic reached 1 million world-wide yesterday.
The China flu is killing on average more than 700 people a day in the U.S., which leads the world in both confirmed cases and deaths.

More than 205,000 Americans have died.

New daily numbers for Poland... with a new twist!

Now fatalities are divided into covid only and covid + (other illness)

Fatalities

covid only (daily total) 6, age range 65-89, average age 77

covid plus (daily total) 30
ages
below 60 = 3
60-69 = 8
70-79 = 6
80-89 = 11
90+ = 2

Number of active cases (running total) +755= 18,524

Hospitalizations (running total) + 94 = 2399

Ventilators in use, + 6 = 130

Number tested (daily total) = 23,100

Cured (daily total) 535 which is 40 % the number of discovered cases..

Ratio of cured to fatalities (daily) there were 14 times more cured cases than fatalities.

No, I refuse to grow up. Call me Beter Ban, not pawian.

do your own research and draw your own conclusions.

It is unfair! I never say it to my students when they don`t know sth. I always explain patiently - over and over again, year after year, decade after decade. Why can`t sb do the same to me???????

Let's look at the last few days

sep 27 = 8 fatalities all with comorbidities
sep 28 = 15 fatalities all with comorbidities
sep 29 = 36 fatalities 30 with comorbidities

math 59 deaths, of which only 6 had no comorbidities which evens out to about one in ten who died of covid alone, the youngest of which was 65 years old and the average age was 77 (a tiny bit over Polish life expectancy).

So, summing up, a very small percentage of covid fatalities come from that virus alone (and those tend to be patients who are older).

Do you understand now? Maybe I'll give you a quiz later to see if you're really interested in learning or not....

In the meantime....

stke.sciencemag.org/content/13/649/eabe4242?utm_campaign=toc_signaling_2020-09-15&et_rid=687438071&et_cid=3502552

A catalogue of systematic failure of medical research - scientists are actually discouraged from doing basic research on covid.... now why could that be?

Let's look at the last few days

sep 29 1326 new cases
sep 28 1306 new cases
sep 27 1350 new cases

all with comorbidities

So, if someone has some other illness, he deserves to die? He would live with it for decades even, without chinavirus, but for you his death is irrelevant?

Of course they matter. But what is your solution ? Another lockdown ?
